  1. A real good hop arm is gunsmithy's. It uses an SRS nub or similar. I have one and can't complain. I also have an E S custom works piston, which is really well made even though it could be a bit heavier to be perfect.
  2. Careful, we will be playing laser tag instead of airsoft at this rate. Maybe not even that. Laser melts snowflakes.
  3. No one would watch average joe's average airsoft games. Youtubers create controversial content on purpose. Look at this thread, we are talking about a video, that's exactly what they are going for. They are not like that in real life, the audience, you form them to what you want to see. So I think it's not the youtubers who influence the players to be like that, it's the other way around. Mustang moves crosshairs to the head, chooses titles and thumbnails that can be triggering, etc because that's what people want. Even the ones hating him. He's very good at creating good content from normal game days.
  4. Two months ago full thrust was the future. Are we there yet?
  5. Planetside 2. It's very hard to get the hang of it.
  6. I saw this pop up many times in the FB group, so it's definitely an existing problem.
  7. What gun, what weight BB, what barrel length? Usually it's the other way round, it's quieter when there is BB in there. As long as the cylinder barrel volume ratio makes the bb to still be in the barrel when the piston slams forward. The BB keeps the sound in the barrel.
  8. The M9's plastic slide has a weak part, but that's all I heard, the other guns are fine with gg.
  9. That was either a very good guess or you also clicked "order it printed". That came up with $65.52 which is £53. 😮
  10. @iozjik Oh, it's you. I've been looking at those on thingie for long and I must say, they are fantastic. Great job.
  11. I asked them something last week in FB message and got an answer the next day. I was happy with that.
  12. It's Aldi, isn't it? Good green it is.
  13. Does it work good? I was looking at them but it looks like it is wobbling around with the gun in it.
  14. 75 is way too hard IMO. 70 was too hard for my VSR. 60 is sweet.
  15. I got something printed on thingiverse because it was really cheap. Upload your model as private and you can get quotes. The quality was what I was paying for, but they did the job done.
  16. Nice, except for the trigger. This is the best: http://printedairsoft.co.uk/products Because I make them. But seriously. During the process of designing, I made them with 4 different curvatures and the straightest (which was still not flat) was uncomfortable for me.
  17. Sorry, I always mix up the names. For AEG, it's prometheus, for VSR (and the Striker) it's Nine Ball. Yes, the Nine Ball works with the original barrel. You can cut the bridge off the original barrel but the hole is still very narrow, you might need to enlarge that too for a maple leaf bucking.
  18. 70 will be too hard in my experience. Go with 60 if you are planning to use it between 450-500 fps
  19. The original one is very good for the original barrel. Because that is bridged. If it tears, then the purple Laylax/Prometheus is very good too. If you switch to an unbridged barrel, than Maple Leaf or any other good VSR compatible bucking with a large contact patch.
