Outer diameter and maybe the length. (Just because I'm lazy to make a few test prints to get the proper size.) I have printed guide rings for my Bar-10 and they worked nicely. PLA can be quite smooth. I've been eyeing this ring and I think I even printed one at one point but I don't remember what the outcome was. Seeing you being excited about it made me wanting it again. Yes, you need a piston too. Mine became useless in two games. Yes, less force will be needed when cocking. 45 degree trigger with strong spring is pressing the piston against the cylinder.

You have to get a new cylinder set. The original one is completely useless. 😕

NBB is a good idea, or split slide, but that still would need to be custom made. Plus not only the slide is long, but the frame too. You and the customer will have to make big compromises. (Make sure the customer knows the price. For ambitious custom requests the customer is usually surprised that a full day of my work and materials costs more than £15.)

The problem is with going to work. I don't see how the arm holds the tensioner in place. Maybe it slipped too forward. Or back. I'm just guessing here. I just read on FB that ares is copying its design and soon releases their own dual bore. Hopefully cheaper.

I've just upgraded mine. It's beautiful. Don't do airbreak in a striker unless it's an edgi bigger volume cylinder. The normal size doesn't have enough volume for it.

A real good hop arm is gunsmithy's. It uses an SRS nub or similar. I have one and can't complain. I also have an E S custom works piston, which is really well made even though it could be a bit heavier to be perfect.

No one would watch average joe's average airsoft games. Youtubers create controversial content on purpose. Look at this thread, we are talking about a video, that's exactly what they are going for. They are not like that in real life, the audience, you form them to what you want to see. So I think it's not the youtubers who influence the players to be like that, it's the other way around. Mustang moves crosshairs to the head, chooses titles and thumbnails that can be triggering, etc because that's what people want. Even the ones hating him. He's very good at creating good content from normal game days.

I saw this pop up many times in the FB group, so it's definitely an existing problem.

What gun, what weight BB, what barrel length? Usually it's the other way round, it's quieter when there is BB in there. As long as the cylinder barrel volume ratio makes the bb to still be in the barrel when the piston slams forward. The BB keeps the sound in the barrel.

The M9's plastic slide has a weak part, but that's all I heard, the other guns are fine with gg.
