  1. http://www.ukairsoftzone.co.uk/ is a friendly bunch and have great beginner's guides. However not very active.
  2. Welcome. Nope, sniper rifles are not good for beginners. It's nothing like in games. You will be massively lit up by aeg users and you will feel miserable. Rent an AEG, try the game with that first. Bring your rifle with you and play one round with that to see what I'm talking about.
  3. Yes, it's okay to empty them manually with the switch thing.
  4. No sidearm needed. You will have enough trouble learning your aeg. While sidearms look great, most airsofters only use it to fill it at the start of the day and empty the mags posing ubercool and at the end of the day. You need to learn the strengths and weaknesses of your main weapon and yourself. This takes one or two years at least. Then you will be able to effectively use the sidearm in a situation where the main weapon is weaker.
  5. For skirmishes, they aren't useful. But for longer games they are great to keep the map and a pen in it. Easy to access even in gloves. New midcaps need time to reach their full capacity. Don't force it, just use it.
  6. Try http://tinypic.com/
  7. Yeah, we need the blood. Err. I mean new blood. Come alone.
  8. I have ordered from them twice. First was fine, the second time I ordered an UBAC and they sent a gigantic one. Then they tried to convince me that it was my fault (it wasn't) and it took quite a few emails to send me the correct one. I "just" had to pay for one extra postage even though they wrote the sizes wrong. But the quality of their stuff is great.
  9. Cyma Mp5 is fine too. Heavy as a brick though.
  10. Red dot. If you play night or dark cqb, then a torch.
  11. You go to any field and dress like that, the owner will ask you to take that off quickly or will just send you home because his paying customers will be offended and won't come and pay next time.
  12. Changing the motor does nothing to the fps. There are quick spring chage weapons. With the split gearbox ICS you can easily change the upper gearbox or there are some weapons that allow it: some AKs, G36s, G3s, etc. The normal M4 usually doesn't because you still have to completely remove the gearbox to access the quick spring change feature. There is one where you can change it through the buffer tube but that needs a special GB and body.
  13. Some sites require 18+ for the sniper role.
  14. How do you make it absolute center?
  15. I just sold one with 2 mags and a CQB valve (not bolt) fitted but nothing else for 150. It went quickly. Yours should be around 200-250 depending how quick you want it to go.
  16. A good nazi is a dead nazi so I sure go for an overkill when I see one on the filed. With those nazi zombie films around, you never know.
  17. I'm with Duck on this. DMRs don't have too much extra range but the MED is a big disadvantage. If you get your AEG very accurate and use it on single, that's DMR enough. That's what I do. The auto doesn't even work on my AEG. Single only, very accurate and just below 350. Scope can be useful but not a necessity.
  18. Yes, but it takes 2 people. Keep treating her the same as before the wedding and there will be sex. This is too deep for an airsoft forum.
  19. B6 needs a power source too. Try B6AC. B6 or B6AC is a great choice. There is no need to reduce impact shock on a normal AEG. Normally they come 400-430 fps, it's just in the UK where we are limited to 350. And v3 gearbox that's in the AUG is much stronger than a standard v2 (the one in an M4).
  20. The silent piston head set does nothing. That charger is overpriced. You can get an imax b3 (same inside) from ebay cheap.
  21. They are cheaper. The problem is when there is a problem. All in all, if everything is fine then it's cheaper, but if there is something wrong, it is more expensive than UK retailers. So in the long run, it's about the same price. Ordering from the EU on the other hand... that's just cheaper.
  22. No need to r-hop. It's very hard to do it right and when you do get it right, there is no real difference to a good normal hopup rubber. Most normal rubbers can lift 0.30 in an average aeg.
  23. Don't go any further on that path. You won't find skirmishable gun below £100. Anything cheaper looks ok, but is actually crap. A good choice was to ask the people here because they do know what they are talking about when it comes to airsoft and will advise you to not to spend your money on unusable things. Now just listen to them. Airsoft guns shoot 6mm plastic BBs.
