  1. Played one game on a quiet day, me and one of the guys who run the site had climbed a steep slope into thick foliage looking for the 4 guys on the enemy team, he said he was going to flank right while I looked for a route straight ahead, after a couple of minutes of getting nowhere I hear and see rustling directly in front of me so put a few shots in, guess who I hit. . . .
  2. Zero in forum has quite a thread on GBBs being seized. Gas mags are classed as pressurized vessels whether they have gas in or not,or even valves as far as RM/Parcelfarce are concerned. They will usually get through by surface mail within UK though. For the extra pence it costs always send via tracked/signed delivery, and for rifs put the buyers UKARA no. in the address panel. Sorry to OP not heard of the guy, hope you can get it sorted.
  3. Its my local site, well run, mainly woodland but with a small CQB area, very good mix of terrain and games. They've just got a load of new M4 rental guns as well as G36s. Good mix of ages and player abilities. :-)
  4. Alice Cooper - Brutal Planet Rolling Stones - Paint it Black (compulsory for Nam games) :-)
  5. +1 on that! One thats decent at any rate. :-)
  6. Some sites allow CO2, my local one does, simply down to passing the chrono test. Can't see the logic of banning CO2 if its within site chrono limits.
  7. I guess its aimed at real world training to look and feel identical to the real steel. Crazy price as said, probably more than a real one. Airsoft stuff is often overpriced though. I owned an AK74 air rifle some years ago which was real steel Izhmash, built in the factory but with a blank barrel and a 4.5mm bb barrel where the cleaning rod would be, allied to a russian CO2 bb air pistol fitted in place of the normal trigger mechanism, and the lower half of the original bolt cut away to fit over the pistol. Cost was under £400 brand new. Wish I'd kept that one!
  8. While moving stealthily to outflank the enemy, and stopping to look ahead for potential targets a marshall appearing next to me and saying loudly "come on, push forward!". Got me lit up instantly. Nob.
  9. try it and see? It will almost certainly be noticably slower though. Something like a SHS Hi-torque motor would probably be a better bet though.
  10. STEEL slide, STEEL outer barrel, CNC aluminium frame, Polymer grips, CO2 powered. 330fps, Exact real steel dimensions. . . http://www.redwolfairsoft.com/redwolf/airsoft/Gas_Blow_Back_Pistols_Inokatsu_Inokatsu_SIG_SAUER_P226_Rail_CNC_Steel_CO2_Version.htm Just don't look at the price. . . . !
  11. I have the older TM M9 which doesn't have the adjustable hop of the M9A1. Yeah its plastic but there is more to it than just TM's good name. Even with the fixed hop I'd wager it shoots as well as the PTP, certainly cycles faster and has a better finish and with more realistic markings than the PTP or Umarex IMHO. It also functions well in cold weather compared to metal slide guns, which is a consideration. I also find TM mags are less prone to gas leaks than other brands. Yes metal feels colder and a little heavier but I think most would agree the TM wins in every other respect, not only with the M9 but with just about any gbb pistol model.
  12. For what you'd get for it its probably worth more as sentimental value, and useful as a backup if you get the MP5. Thats what I'd do anyway.:-)
  13. in a word no. Its your hop unit/rubber that will need looking at most likely. Have you chrono'd it lately? In case its down to low fps/compression.
  14. needs to be bigger, much bigger. . .
  15. Welcome to the site! The DE M56 tri shot shotguns are pretty popular tbh, seen them used as primary weapons instead of AEG's, mine has been very reliable. Which Uzi were you meaning? Best known is the TM electric one which is pretty hard to find nowadays, heard nothing bad about them, AFAIK they are less powerful than usual AEG's (even by TM standards which are usually lower powered than say comparable G&G guns), but that said TM's hop units are legendary. I have a pretty rare and old Marushin Uzi which is ok for CQB but no good for woodland games tbh, as the range isn't fantastic, also have a KWC Mini Uzi GBB which is a lot of fun but spare mags are hard to find currently, typical lol!
  16. Not had any problem posting RIFs with Parcelforce48, declared as such and insured, but for Posting purposes you could say it is a LOW POWERED AIR WEAPON as these are equally ok to send this way. Its batteries that are the main issue. PF's guidelines say only NEW NiMh/NiCad unopened batteries in ORIGINAL RETAIL PACKAGING can be sent, though used Lithium (ie LiPo) batteries can be sent* AS LONG AS CONNECTED to the device they are sent with. *As long as not more than 4 cells / 2 batteries rated not higher than 20Wh per cell or 100Wh per battery, and there are restrictions on the amount of Lithium per battery. Gas powered RIFs / IFs are a whole different story, people send them without problem but technically they are prohibited due to containing pressurized vessels or vessels CAPABLE of being pressurized ie GBB Magazines etc, there have been cases of GBB's being destroyed with no insurance payout / compensation but they are thankfully rare. Retailers sending new goods however seem exempt from such restrictions. Basically, PF's line is you've sent something that they INTERPRET to be dangerous goods then they have the right to destroy it. INTERPRETATION is the key word here. Its worth picking up PF's Dangerous Goods leaflet which has more information, ref RMDG1A, in your local Post Office (above info taken from copy I have dated 15th July 2013, there may be a more up to date version with changes). Be aware also virtually all other couriers use the same or very similar guidelines.
  17. Many thanks for clarifying, original post editted to reflect this. :-)

  19. They were available through Honda NSX approved dealers in the UK, remember seeing one at 2 Mills Honda back in the 90s but they are pretty rare here. New 2015 version may see a few more here possibly?
  20. Yeah as said above a weaker spring will reduce the amount of gas released but care would need to be taken not to reduce the spring's energy too much or the valve won't open.
  21. Would have to be a Honda NSX for me. Not super powerful but seem rarer on the roads than Lambo's or Ferrari's. Almost affordable too lol
  22. I have an old surplus brit S6 respirator bag which holds Abbey size cans no problem, along with other bits. It would probably hold a Coleman propane bottle tbh. Might be worth looking at? As I mainly use a chest rig it works well.
  23. TM's are generally considered the best, especially out of the box, for accuracy and cycle time, due to plastic construction. They will also function in cold weather when all metal guns struggle. All metal guns feel nicer but if you want a reliable accurate pistol that does what its supposed to then TM is the way forward imo.
