Yep both TM GBBs ive owned have worked fine in the winter unless I spammed over half a mag.

Go for one if you want. I've got a CYMA one. It's pretty good, but I'm only keeping it for winter as I'm getting a gas pistol...

The G18C AEP I tried, while pretty good, I just couldn't get over how wimpy the mags look, and how easy it'd be to lose one of them.

possible option is to do something similar with mp5k and get tactical RIS - make up a front grip lipo holder - easy cheap mags plus no silly fiddly stick batteries in mp5k

Lol, all my gear lacks any velcro, and the patch looks all American and stuff! I may be able to do something with some felt that would fit the rules of an AIF unit ID colour patch that would be similar to just the plate with the pie.
