  1. In theory, yes. It's basically the same trick people use to make Scalextric cars go faster.
  2. Take it to your nearest tech then. Where abouts are you?

  4. You know that, how?
  5. You sir, are weird. But fair play to you, if that's what you like!
  6. Mortar launched pyro is classed as Category 4 under BS7114 and are ONLY available to professionals who have to provide proof of training on purchasing. https://www.gov.uk/fireworks-the-law
  7. *ahem* Gate *ahem* As for install - anyone that can 1) take apart a gearbox and 2) solder. It's really not that hard.
  8. *facepalm Music - normal, musical, non propaganda, made after the 1970's music.
  9. Jesus wept, do you ever just listen to y'know - music?
  10. Again - hardwired. Plug and play won't protect your trigger contacts anyway. Personally I'd recommend Gate Electronics. The NanoAAB active braking one is what I have in my M4 (the older version anyway) and it's a great little bit of kit. Only £35 from Fire Support too.
  11. Not that much else inside to be fair. The VFC/TM difference is basically the externals and the way they're put together. The TM ones use a lot of screws and are mostly plastic, the VFC ones are pinned together and are mostly metal. Mostly.
  12. They both have the same CYMA V3 gearbox.
  13. Main gun is a G&G SCAR-L which is fantastic but will soon be even better once my BTC Spectre MOSFET arrives! Secondary guns which get alternate days out are my (originally) TM franken-M4 and a CYMA AKS-74U. Every now and then my M249 para comes out to play too .
  14. Too Long; Didn't Read basically shorthand for "in case you can't be bothered to read all that"
  15. Is it the one in the Electric for sale section on here? If so then it looks like an advanced. Spiked flash hider is the clue.
  16. About what? You have to bear in mind that song is of a very different time and a very partisan viewpoint.
  17. I presume this is second hand then? If it's the advanced version with the fold out LED torch and laser then absolutely (assuming it's in good, working condition and both batteries and mags work fine). If it's the standard (which is plastic rather than NRP) then it needs to be pretty damn good condition for my money. Either way the internals will be the same and yes, they are good guns. I've skirmished with one and it was great apart from the delta nut coming loose but that is a 5 second fix with the right tool. TL;DR go for it.
  18. It's a decent enough gun, but I believe there are two versions. One is plastic (not so good) and the other is nylon reinforced polymer (very good). The polymer one costs slightly more if I remember correctly. Either way a great little ggunand a good base for upgrades. Just beware that while they look similar the furniture is not magpul but a "look a like" style by g&g.
  19. Check at the bottom for a small grub screw. There was one on my aks74u thread adapter.
  20. Astigmatism does make contact lenses a tricky proposal but not impossible by any means.
  21. Or screw it up completely if you don't know what you're doing...
  22. SCAR for the win.
  23. If the outside wears quickest then you either underpronate or possibly you are a "heel striker". I tend to walk on the balls of my feet. Get your gait analysed though, definitely worthwhile. Plenty of good running stores can do it too but might charge.
