  1. You can add rail sections to the magpul style handguard on the gr4.
  2. They all fall down eventually. Best I've had are crye style trousers with built-in pads.
  3. Yeah, seems g&p receivers are the same. Bought a madbull die this morning. Hopefully that should sort it.
  4. If anyone needs kit I have a bunch for sale in the gear section. Almost everything you'd need for an Afghan loadout!
  5. Anyone have a delta ring thread tool they want to sell/loan?

My Dytac receiver seems to have slightly naff threads. See my DD rail fitting thread for details.

You and me both :-) bought a die from redwolf in the end.

  6. These might work - not sure how different a 417 mag is to an M14 mag but they're both 7.62 so you never know http://www.military1st.co.uk/fy-ph-m024-cb-flyye-ev-universal-double-magazine-pouch-molle-coyote-brown.html
  7. Also http://www.uktactical.com/p-8924-warrior-single-molle-open-pouch-hk417-coyote-tan.aspx but again tan rather than brown. As pointed out by our learned friend above.
  8. I'm changing my M4 handguard from a standard delta nut and KAC style RIS to a Daniel Defense Mk18 style handguard. It's a chinese clone of the madbull rail by the way. The problem I'm getting is one similar to something I had when changing the Delta Nut in the first place namely that the barrel nut goes on about half a turn and then binds. It can be forced further but needs way more force than seems reasonable. It's a Dytac receiver and I had this problem with an Element delta nut. I ended up going to a King Arms delta nut as that fitted no problem. I'm wondering if anyone else has had a similar issue and what they did to solve it. It almost feels like the receiver threads aren't cut properly somehow. Any advice gratefully received!
  9. http://www.uktactical.com/p-6048-warrior-338-single-mag-pouch-coyote-tan.aspx should fit.
  10. Fair enough but that's barely £15. Not insignificant but still...hardly a fortune.
  11. What battery were you running?
  12. This. You should have more than enough space for 6 mags there - what else are you carrying in those pouches?
  13. I think you should offer the option to filter zero stock items (like zero one and their tick box for "In stock only") rather than just not show an item if it has zero stock. Otherwise you could miss out on potential sales via stock update notifications.
  14. https://impulse101.jp/ they re-started under a different name.
  15. Nice. Very nice. OK so I REALLY hope that turns up then!
  16. He needs glasses, it says so in the thread.
  17. You sound like my brother in law. He's convinced everyone is conspiring against him too. Maybe they are. Just because you're paranoid doesn't mean that people AREN'T out to get you. Thing is that as a "highly regarded retailer" there's actually every possibility that they are just as disappointed at having failed you as you are at them. At least they are trying to sort it out unlike Ebairsoft who took my money and only told me that they were out of stock after two weeks of badgering at which point they said that I could wait and see on the off chance that they eventually get more stock or have a refund (which I did). To this day their stock indication is "In Stock" for that particular part and it's never changed. I've just ordered a tactical AK fire selector from them (Bunny workshop that is) though so if you get a message from me that says simply " " you'll know why. Hope your part turns up. What was it anyway?
  18. Standard (14.5") M4 has a 363mm inner barrel. So about 300mm should be right.
  19. I'd love it if every cheap, online retailer could actually keep their stock levels accurate (it's why I don't buy from ebairsoft) but it remains that they are trying to sort the problem for you. Two days isn't that long to wait for a response when their reaction could have been "it's out of stock, tough".
  20. Sooooo...... you ordered an item and two days later they have admitted a problem and that they are doing their best to sort it out. I fail to see where the problem is other than you being impatient. Which is odd as if you want something that quickly - why order it from a Hong Kong based retailer?
  21. +1 for the G&G Combat Machine is you're not married to full metal. It's one of the most popular guns for a reason! I'd certainly recommend it over any of the D-Boys, CYMA or JG metal ones.
  22. No gun will be COMPLETELY metal. There are always plastic parts - the pistol grip and stock at a bare minimum. Only the cheapest guns tend to have plastic gearboxes but even the higher cost ones can have plastic minor parts. THIS IS NOT A PROBLEM. Too many people get hung up on the idea that a gun has to be "full metal" when in reality a polymer gun or even a plastic gun can be just as reliable and robust.
  23. !!!SWEEPING GENERALISATION ALERT!!!! The single biggest problem I can see with starting an airsoft shop (and which seems to be borne out by most of the posts here) is that by and large the airsoft community is split into two camps. The ones that do it on a shoestring budget (the beginners, the scrimpers and the ones that just can't justify spending more than £200 on their entire kit) and the gucci milsim realism junkies that will happily spend a crapping fortune on a charging handle "because it's what THE TEAMS use". No single shop can ever hope to properly cater for both ends of the spectrum as the former will think that the big spenders are elitist wankers and the they in turn will consider the cheap kit worthy only of derision (which they will happily stand at the counter and tell you all about). TL:DR you can't please all the people all the time.
  24. So is there a standard doctrine for pouch placement then? I'd have thought a lot more personal choice would come through on that? Genuine question BTW.
