  1. Nothing wrong with the ics gear but spending a bit more and getting a g&g will get you a better gun. It's especially true in airsoft that you get what you pay for.
  2. Having a defence against prosecution is not the same as not having committed an offence. Not being prosecuted for an offence does not make it any less illegal to commit that offence just that you will not be punished for that offence.
  3. Print out the attached file at 100% (no scaling) and put your hand on the guide. That'll tell you how big a pair of gloves you'll need (from Mechanix at least). Their gloves range a bit in price but if you go with the Fast Fit ones they run about £15 on Military 1st http://www.military1st.co.uk/combat-gear-gloves/?catid=371657&cfSearch1=brand&cfvalue1=mechanix%20wear Glove-Sizing-Guide-wScale.pdf
  4. Friend of mine is considering doing his Pathfinders selection (ex 3 Para, currently 4 Para) or going into SFSG. Hence the question.
  5. These are made with Hocks Noise Brakers http://www.hocksproducts.com/hocks_noise_braker%C2%AE so they claim to reduce high SPL sounds while still allowing normal hearing of speech. We'll see. If that doesn't pan out I'll be looking at the Peltor electronic 6S ear defenders which I know work well having used some for shooting.
  6. Must be thinking of a different gun then, all the BO stuff I've seen was more in the £700 range... Just checked, I've only seen the BO Dynamics Proline stuff up until now. Didn't realise they did cheaper ones! My bad.
  7. When you say "handspan" what are you measuring? Gloves are usually sized by the width of your palm across the knuckles with your fingers together. 7.5" seems pretty huge for a pair of gloves!
  8. That's weird - what you posted and what I quote are different! Spooky.
  9. Correct me if I'm wrong but I didn't think that Pathfinders came under UKSF?
  10. Is there any particular type of rifle you like the look of or particularly dislike the look of before we start making recommendations for M4s only to find out you actually wanted an AK47?
  11. Yeah, sorry that was a little facetious of me. Top right corner of the forum is a little envelope. Click on that and it'll show you your inbox. Click on the title of a conversation and you'll see the messages, that's where you'll be able to reply. The green tick thingy is like a "like", yes. Like "like" on Facebook, like.
  12. Click the button that says "Reply".
  13. Pair of spangly dangly SureFire earplugs to try and stop my tinnitus getting any worse. Nice and comfy!
  14. TM Recoil SCAR-H with genuine Trijicon ACOG or Elcan SpectreDR. mmmmmmm......recoil SCAR......
  15. The listing does state that you can adjust it from 360-380 fps but that doesn't really help the OP who wants a gun that tops out at 350. Either way a spring change would be needed. Sorry - getting my posts confused. Still, not many sites alllow 360+ in an AEG!
  16. So you weren't kidding when you said money wasn't an issue then! Nice choice.
  17. Mechanix or helikon are both good choices but it depends on your budget really. How much did you want to spend?
  18. Doughnuts you say.....? I know you've managed to get the Raider you were after but it's worth bearing in mind that the length measurement you may have seen would very probably been with the stock collapsed to its minimum length. Which won't be very usable unless you have very short arms!

    Best bbs?

I usually get mine from here: http://www.socomtactical.net/airsoft-accessories/ammo-and-gas/0-25-airsoft-bbs/asg-blaster-devil-0-25g-6000-bottle.html as they're local to me and reasonable price (that's for a bottle of 6000 0.25g by the way).

    Best bbs?

Blasters are good, Devil Blasters are better (in my experience at least). Bulldog BBs are the work of the devil. LiPo batteries should be kept with at least a minimum charge so yes, long term storage they shouldn't be flat. Discharging a LiPo below its minimum can damage it.
  21. Good skills that man! Now all you need is a beer fridge!
  22. Nice. If you can get power to the shed it might be worth running a small space heater to keep it all dry. Damp will make all your kit smell like...well like a garden shed.
