Quick pic of my condor belt with Safariland style drop leg fitted. I use a Viper duty belt in it (the only bit of Viper kit I still use in fact). Seriously considering getting a yoke and running a belt rig in the warmer months.
Blimey, it's like the 90's all over again!
Don't be intimidated by the prevalence of either metal or beardy weirdy folky types! You post whatever you like.
I'm actually listening to Disney tunes and I don't care who knows it.
The condor battle belt is a similar design to the hsgi one (cutouts for droplegs, use your own belt etc) but they're much cheaper. I have one and it's pretty well made.
Right, but the delta ring itself still screws onto a stub on the front of the receiver. As long as that is the same thread as usual (1.5"x18tpi) then you should be able to fit a floating rail.
Do you have any pictures? Looks like a standard TM delta nut to me (two lugs instead of the star shaped centre piece).
In which case this
should show you how to remove the nut itself.
Just Google for MOE rails. Bullseye country sports should have them.
To be fair the cm18 would be my preference but having skirmished the gr4 g26 it IS a nice gun.
These might work - not sure how different a 417 mag is to an M14 mag but they're both 7.62 so you never know http://www.military1st.co.uk/fy-ph-m024-cb-flyye-ev-universal-double-magazine-pouch-molle-coyote-brown.html
Also http://www.uktactical.com/p-8924-warrior-single-molle-open-pouch-hk417-coyote-tan.aspx but again tan rather than brown.
As pointed out by our learned friend above.
I'm changing my M4 handguard from a standard delta nut and KAC style RIS to a Daniel Defense Mk18 style handguard. It's a chinese clone of the madbull rail by the way.
The problem I'm getting is one similar to something I had when changing the Delta Nut in the first place namely that the barrel nut goes on about half a turn and then binds. It can be forced further but needs way more force than seems reasonable. It's a Dytac receiver and I had this problem with an Element delta nut. I ended up going to a King Arms delta nut as that fitted no problem. I'm wondering if anyone else has had a similar issue and what they did to solve it. It almost feels like the receiver threads aren't cut properly somehow.
Any advice gratefully received!
