  1. Having a degree or not doesn't make a lick of difference to someones level of common sense. You've either got it or you haven't. The thing I do find though is that ex apprentices seem to be more well rounded people than graduates, at least in the engineering side of things. Sales is a different beast.
  2. It appears that my metal mojo is back with a vengeance! I must need to get out and shoot people 8)
  3. If it's 20mm CW to 14mm CCW try this: http://aegcartasia.com/accessoires/attachments/adpps01.html Sorry, just realised that's 20mm external.
  4. Just measured it and you're looking for a spring 3mm diameter by 12mm long. To be honest a spring from a decent retractable biro would probably work!
  5. Leave it with me, I'll try and have a look tonight.
  6. Have a look through the UK Tactical sale sections. Pretty sure you'd be able to save a bit by buying a combo set of WAS pouches.
  7. I don't think you'll find that part listed specifically as a spare for that gun. I have the Socom Gear one that is based off the WE M9 so I could try and measure mine if you like?
  8. Don't let TM's low muzzle velocity put you off. Their hop units are made of magic by wizards.
  9. First off, hi and welcome to the forums. There's a thread for introductions...so feel free to go introduce yourself! Secondly, from the rest of your stripdown pics you appear to have a KWA PTP M9 not WE M9. That may have a slight bearing on what you need to get. Best bet would be to have a look on ebay for a pack of springs. Look for length and diameter. Just because it's an airsoft pistol doesn't make the spring terribly special. Should cost pence. Or try an engineering suppliers or maybe an RC car spares place, they use all sorts of fiddly little springs.
  10. Depends on your end game as you say. While there's plenty of jobs that the practical experience offered by an apprenticeship will benefit, there's also plenty that have a much shorter progression curve if you have a degree. Speaking as an ex apprentice I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it as an option but as someone who is now in Account Management a degree would have got me higher, quicker.
  11. I play CQB with exactly that gun. It's highly amusing!
  12. Guess that depends on your definition of "affordable" :-)
  13. Anything from £150 really. Have a look at this http://www.airsoft-forums.co.uk/index.php/topic/17294-ians-guide-to-noobism-on-a-tight-budget/
  14. BOSH! GHK 10.5" GBBR: http://www.socomtactical.net/product_info.php/cPath/73_123_147/products_id/3251
  15. The dust cover on airsoft M4s is supposed to pop open
  16. They've been around for a while now. They have a high end range (BO Manufacture) and the new "value" range if you will call BO Dynamics. The LT595 has full Lonex internals and is getting some good reviews. I see no reason NOT to buy one!
  17. Granted G&G made what appears to have been a poor decision by building their OEM FET down to a price but then I do wonder how many people would have been happy to swallow the extra cost had they gone with a higher spec? Ultimately their design achieves what it sets out to do - maximise trigger response with the existing gearbox design by taking advantage of the lower power LiPo batteries. Had they OEM'd a Gate PICO design they'd have been golden of course but that's just the way it goes.
