It's worth checking with your local site as to what they class as a DMR, 2 of the 4 sites I play at will only accept a DMR if it is a 'real' DMR, ie M14 etc, it stops people taking a short M4/MP5 locking it to semi, hiking the fps to 425, fitting a mosfet and an 11.1 and spamming the shite out of it

The seigetek gears are not the greatest, the prommy gears are far better and you will lose fps down to that wide bore barrel, so any real gain you've made in dos you'll lose on that, wide bores generally only work on gbb rifles I've built a couple of recoils for people and seen those gears break up whereas the prommy ones are mental hard

Well they've processed it now, payment all done, had numerous emails saying what's going on at each stage, let's see what happens in the next few days

Has anyone else had any issues trying to order from gunfire.pl using paypal? I've just tried to order from them, had all the usual sign up email jizz, made the order, got an order confirmation email with an order number but no money seems to have left my paypal?? And the order screen says payment will be booked automatically?? Never had this before on any other site, is this usual with them, have I done something wrong etc?

Esoterick - I know what you're saying. Thing is though that there is a lot of value even in the posts of some of the less experienced. Someone that's only been playing for a year may well have taken apart more guns in 12 months than someone that's only ever used a gun as standard for 10 years. Some tenuous length of service doesn't make what they have to say any less valid. That said there is some rubbish spouted sometimes

I think really people should be mindful of what they are saying if it could potentially lead to someone breaking their kit. Nothing wrong with people wanting to help each other, sometimes just think people should highlight they aren't quite sure what they are saying. Also agree time isn't everything but you don't go from knowing nothing to everything in a month or two.

Ghk ak mags have a habit of leaking more than the M4/G5 mags, my G5 has the lighter action bolt fitted which makes a considerable difference in winter, the original bolt is over 300 grams so that's quite a lot to shift, lighter bolt also I ceases the gas efficiency, in mild/warm weather I can get nearly 3 full mags of bb per gas fill now which is a hell of a lot better than most GBB weapons, cleaning/lubing as stated is more than key though and parts do wear out far quicker than your average aeg but running gas is far more fun and will teach you weapon and round discipline

With that foregrip, stock and flash hider it would be an XM177 rather than a CAR-15, the CAR was a different and earlier variant, used the same reciever and was the predecessor of what you have created, used only in very small numbers by specific units before being replaced by the XM177 E1 then E2 bud but what you have created is a very no XM example

Jack is not whiskey, it is bourbon, a very different thing indeed, a far better alternative to Jack is Wild Turkey, far better and smoother than JD without the incipid after taste I currently have a 45 year old bottle of single barrel Talisker open which is drunk straight with literally a drop or 2 of water to release the true flavours but people should drink anything the way they best enjoy it, puritans who declare it is heracy to drink with mixers should grow up and enjoy it for what it is

From memory the tm mags have 2 pins that hold the base of the mag in place, there are 2 square o-rings on the base plate (which holds the inlet valve) which dry out and need to be replaced, you can sometimes get away with removing them and covering them in liquid ptfe which can be bought in a small bottle from screw fix but this isn't really a permanent solution

Incorrect, certain tm pistols will die using propane, glocks and px4 being some of them but hi capas, 1911's, hk45 are fine, been using propane in all of the above for a long time with zero issues

A 150 spring will give you far more than 350 fps, there are also better hop units than the one you have listed, check with the site you play at what the limit is for locked DMR rifles as it's normally more around the 425 fps mark, you'll also be needing a hi torque motor, a lonex A series motor is pretty much your best best for this

Buying a GBBR from someone who knows how to put them together properly will pay off in the long run, it is also far cheaper to buy one that has already had upgraded parts put in than buying and adding as you go along, Iain may not be the cheapest but he has massive wealth of knowledge etc, don't scrimp when buying a GBBR, you'll regret not spending a bit more and getting the RA tech bits from the outset

How many mags should a gas refill last?

Very dependant on the gas system, router seals etc, most 1911's can barely get an entire mag out where as my HK45 gets 3 mags per fill, 1 1/2 - 2 mags is probably about right -
A lot of people complained at the 2 stage trigger system, very similar and problematic as the system in the Tavor's and aug's They really are a cqb weapon, very small indeed, fps isn't great and upgrading seems to cause issues internally, get hold of one for a while before shelling out that kind of money and look at the real sword type97B if you want an epic little bullpup rifle, you WONT find a better rifle

I think you should clean it some more, remove everything regarding any political views and implications sir, there's a lot that is well out of order still on here that I have read just flicking through it OP, either go ICS galil or King Arms galil, I had a KA galil that I wish I'd never sold, it was a solid beast of a rifle, avoid Tavor's at all costs, never seen one last any length of time and are as posted earlier in the thread an absolute pig to work on

My mistake, nano was in another rifle, it's a new pico AAB, absolutely tiny, fits perfectly in the gas tube on an AK if anyone else wants to fit one
