It depends massively on the company that organises the event, I have done many and can say that yes, there are some great events, enjoyable for all and there are also companies and players who take it far too seriously, believe they are things and doing things that are not, spend ridiculous amounts of money on gear and kit and yes, will make people feel inferior in the process, research the organiser and their previous events before booking on because there is still some serious milsim snobs out there and don’t expect 48 hours of gun battles, I’ve spent many an hour sitting in a hole doing sod all I have however had some amazing weekends and made some great friends over the years

11.1 v battery will kill the gearbox fairly quickly, stick to a 7.4v, more than enough and will keep going for far far longer

Best thing is to ask whoever you gave it to to put it on the register and see if they have actually done it, if it was a retailer it should be fairly instant, it certainly was way back when I did mine, you may be lucky in what you're looking for too, gold match have been out of stock pretty much everywhere for a while now

You raise some very valid points sacarathe, I've never been on any other forum where you can sell items of such value or that are looked at in such detail by the law without any form of forum input before selling, the mods do what they can but with no real ruling in place regarding this, it will never change, ive had threads removed myself and recently received a warning thingy for bumping early, not remembering which site I was on, my bad, hands up, but you then watch threads appear, no pictures, no name/date...'put pics or thread will be locked' infuriating The amount of people who fail to read ANY of the forum rules is just staggering, no one reads the stickies, if the rules are broken, thread removed, not locked, not wrist slapped, removed without explanation, if people can't be bothered to read the rules, who's fault is it? There has been a greater amount of eliteist attitude appearing recently, the level of help given has dropped, more because it's the same questions over and over and I'm sure those with the knowledge just get fed up of writing the same stuff, week in, week out And yes, there has been a few extra members appear since the FB cull, adding to the amount of everything listed above The forum need more mods, the mods need a looser leash, stop pussy footing around with the rules, enforce them! As for the members, peeps, take a step back, think before you write, input if you know what you're talking about, if you don't or are guessing, keep quiet, this was a very friendly forum when I joined, it has as you say changed dramatically

System TW5 fully modded with some real steel parts fitted and a load of genuine systema mags, it is truly unbelievable and makes every other airsoft weapon I have feel like cheap utter shite

Rm4 have a lot of proprietary parts inside, especially the hop, change your barrel out for a prommy 6.03 and put a guarder clear in, these have given the best overall results but the hop unit is very tight, expect to damage at least one rubber getting it fitted, they run linear springs which are easy to change but it's trial and error getting that right, motor is fine, depends what battery you're using as they are built for 11.1 but will run fine (and most people) use 7.4, also use 0.28 decent and I stress decent rounds

I've recently spent a shed load of money with tactical-kit reducing weight of all my kit, yes, they are a great company to deal with, yes, the kit is expensive compared to Chinese equivalents, it's real kit that will last a lifetime in the environment of Airsoft, you get what you pay for, warrior kit is half the price but tons heavier than some available, do you need real kit? Probably not but if you have the funds why not? People will call us various things for having it, generally because they are jealous, nothing more, real weapon accessories like ACOG and such like are horribly uneccessary imo, don't need a £1500 optic to see 60m really
