TM P226 rail, yes the really old one, with 3 mags although one is knackered, hasn't been used in over a year, £150 plus post!!! Just popped up on one of the FB. Pages I have pointed out that a new P226 with a spare brand new mag is under his asking price........

Standard barrel length in the umps from memory is around 200-205mm so you've almost doubled the length, this as her has said could be some of this issue vs the cylinder volume, I would also suspect the massive under hop is something to do with the hop rubber, either a small rip/damage or you've mis aligned it when reinstalling it so it's not operating correctly and applying no spin

Latest update on my RM4 ERG, pts ergo-z float 7" rail, machined up a new spec ops style suppressor to cover the exposed barrel, genuine surefire flashlight and knights flip front sight (waiting on the rear arriving from base) got to tidy the wiring but when the new pts battery vert grips arrive in the country I shall put the genuine peq back on and lose the battery box

What you need to do is try a few different ones on it as there will be optics that look good but the you personally won't get on with, looks are nothing if it doesn't work for you

The TM mp7 is actually under size compared to the real steel, the KWA version is actually 1:1 scale

It depends on the level of milsim you will be going for, a lot of the very serious milsim events have a slightly higher fps level than the norm and the players tend to be far more serious in kit/weapon choice many of the guys are using either systemas or tweaked GBBR rifles, milsim is very much about the realism and it can also still be quite elitist so HPA is a bit frowned upon, mag capacity never allows hi caps and some will require real caps over even mid caps I really wouldn't worry about mags between players, carry what you're allowed and use what you have rather than depending on what could happen, I've played a few milsims and have gone for many hours not even making enemy contact and have also done 36hours and only used 2 mid caps during the entire time

Why would you want a polar star engine in a DMR anyway? A correctly built aeg gearbox is more than sufficient and will maintain its fps if done properly, the only reason for a polar star is that you're gonna spam the shit out of it, kind of negating the designated marksman rifle aspect of it

Don't bother with the asg one, the hop unit is proprietory and frankly a pile of crap, I got hold of one of these in a trades and it was awful, save your money and pick up a G&P support gun, even a decent used one will be better than what you're looking at, you'll be very disappointed spending hard earned money on it

TM socom mags are not designed to come apart at the base, HOWEVER, it can be done and it's the square ring around the base plate that will be leaking, you need a correct sized drill bit, pillar drill, OCD and some replacement pins for re assembly, I have done a few now and most efforts I have tried to rectify from other people doing them and it not working have been in vain as the knacker the mag itself doing it

There are basically no real weak points on tm pistols if they are run as intended, doesn't have to be 144a gas but running propane will destroy it, dry all the mag seals, I've happily run all my tm pistols on abbey predator with no Ill effects How long will it last? How long is a piece of string? As with all gas weapons, use will wear items, things will need replacing from time to time, my hi capa is 3 years old, gets used pretty much every game day at some point and other than a couple of hop rubbers has had no new parts at all

If you want a metal slide pistol then buy a metal slide pistol, don't run a tm pistol on propane, it does them no good, they're not designed for it, don't put a metal slide on a tm pistol, it will ruin it, I have done it twice and regretted both, you will gain no improvement doing either other than taking the best 'out of the box' pistol and making it lees good than it was when you bought it

The auto ones seem very hard to find too, I have seen one TM version pop up on the FB sales pages in the last few months and that went for more than the new price when they were available How do you find the WE compared to a TM pistol in terms of reliability and build?

Is that a WE 'Barry burton' or a TM spoon? Been thinking about one for a while but the TM, if you can find one is ludicrous money

Tm pistols are well known to run on lighter gases and there are many stories of slides cracking, only damage I've ever physically seen is broken nozzles and o-rings drying out and leaking on various mags even using silicone drops, never noticed a massive increase in fps over green gas in my vector or G5, maybe 10fps in normal conditions, 15-20 in mid summer

One of my guys runs one and we did a little shaving of some G&G 120 mids and now they are perfect and feed every round too due to the long follower, just some patience and a Dremel was all that was required

I had a very ineresting conversation whilst buying my latest TM rifle at the weekend, it seems that umarex have finally got a real snot on with companies producing traded and unlicensed shape copies of rifles and pistols of the HK variety Tm HK rifles will no longer have any trades on them and they have now ceased production of the HK45 due to not having the license to replicate the shape, this also throws doubt on whether we will see the anticipated TM USP pistols I picked up the last recoil G36 and they had and was told it would be the last one they will ever sell with the trades and maybe the last full stop

The 'adjustable' nozzle is made by a French guy in a shed and is basically the standard nozzle with a screw in the side of it, not a huge upgrade, it's for bringing the fps down rather than raising it

I take it none of you have taken reference to the rifle named in the original post, G5? That would be gas, not an aeg Wide bores work very well in gas rifles, orga Magnus has been proven to be excellent in a G5
