Friz, youre 16/17 if i remember correctly? spend a year concentrating on school or chasing girls or something, then once youre 18 get a defense and start the sport properly, i see too many people rush and end up with shite gear and regret it a couple months later, take your time and be patient!

alrighty, here's how it will go; I am defo going to The Fort this summer. Defo but only if someone on forums is going. If there is a gun with a good rep that I don't mind in the shop, i'll get it, otherwise, i'll just leave and wait. As for gear, I do not plan to get a whole chest rig with a load of stuff attached. Alright then, i'll try to update my drivers. And cheesy, i'm not going to stick with bf3. With further testing, DM maps are fine and I can achieve 30-40 fps, biggers maps with paracel storm i got 19-20 fps.

What card are you using? Make sure that your drivers are up to date and also what are your temp's? as your card gets close to its TJ Max it will start throttling back clock speeds to stop damage to the card. Thermal protection would have kicked in when you hit your TJ max, and shut down the card. But by the sounds of it thats not the problem you have. Just to be sure thought I would say.

BF4 heli controls are utter shite. IMO and in many other's opinion BF3's make more sense

I have played BF4 and hated the controls. Got used to it a bit but much prefer the old config! Still waiting until I have a PS4 until I buy any new 8th gen games

My BF3 made me suffer worse than your AK did. Man it took two months for them to friggin tell me what I had to do. Now I have to reinstall origin if I want to play. I hate EA more than I hate marmite crisps.

There are lots of real world reasons why M14s are heavy a lot don't translate to airsodt

Just remembered that I've also held a G&P(I think..) M14 with a wooden stock, more manageable then the EBR as the weight was better balanced along the guns length, but still a bit awkward.

I've had a go with a TM classic M14 before. Pretty pointable, not too uncomfortable

It's one action to come out of aim down sights either way. Whether that's lifting your finger off the mouse button or pressing it again.

Right mouse button is jump for me, zoom is toggled on pressing the wheel down.

I use hold on both PC and Xbox now I have a cross-compatible controller. Some say I won't get the precision that I would with a mouse but so far it's been on par. If I was still using the touchpad/mouse then I'd use click to aim though. Mice just seem like they're more made for it.

What's your budget? G&p ones are quite cheap. But as ed says, get an ebr mount, lighter and easier

They don't have to be in a case, just out of sight. You can put guns in the boot of a hatchback car and then have just the parcel shelf over them, or even just cover them with a blanket or something.

Another good way to up your ROF is to do a load of little tweaks to increase your air efficiency, push the max FPS and then drop the spring power (most gearboxes lose 20% of their power due to not being air efficient, fix that and you can put a much weaker spring in)

AND, finally, if you just want a standard 'this' answer, if you can only do gears OR battery, go gears.

if your gun isn't up to it you will be rebuilding the gearbox anyway in 6months or less if teeth start to strip/over run.

Ther are now LiFe batteries @ 9.9v which may be a more gentle trade off for your gun

Or just save, get a GBB, have fun with it and tell the neighbours to f*ck off; you'd be wasting your money on an AEP, they're only good for plinking and have no practical use in a skirmish whatsoever. Trigger response is sh*t OOB, accuracy is sh*t OOB, muzzle velocity is sh*t OOB; and you can't change that unless you open one up and fiddle with it. TM GBBs will be great out of the box, have the legendary TM accuracy and range and will also last you a lot longer with much better pe...

well, it's working fine now, just charged the battery to the max and it just unlocked and full auto works now. So i'm all good... phew...

Tbh I don't play much guys but thanks! I will make sure to add you guys at some point. IIRC cost just under £900 for mine (including monitor and OS and stuff so PC itself was around £650-£700) just need to get around to sorting out a few problems after exams finish. My power supply has like 6 random useless cables coming out of it haha. I did no cable management either.

mine is over £2000 and I spent 6 hours on my cable management, here is an old photo, I have more upgraded stuff in now, I cba taking it off my stand to take a new photo.

Most teeth are built to withstand the sorts of pressures that are inflicted on them on a daily basis when intact. If you are missing a bit the pressure increases. This means that damaging the weakened bits that remain are more likely to be damaged. Get it fixed now before the work gets bigger, if it helps with the fillings and dentists taking more care tell them you dive and can't risk bad work.
