according to sapphires webby system minimum :- 500 Watt Power Supply is required. all ways better to go more then less
-
i would be tempted to upgrade the power supply ... maybe a 750 or 800 .... always better to have more then less i would also go with a corsair power supply .... as i have never had one fail in my pc or on my bitcoin mining rigs
-
(i was expecting Mr Gere to dislike this, due to the 556 holo sight and LLM01 unit ..... i was wrong .... but they do make the rifle nose heavy )
-
would it fit the G&G l85? i only ask as my google fuu is letting me down and i can not find out the thread size on the G&G l85
-
in G&G's defense, they do have a "unlock" or "spring tension release" button, it basically disengages the anti reverse latch (accessible in the mag-well), and the only reason they do lockup is due to them "pre-loading" (similar to a PSG1), though this can be dealt with by swapping the sector gear for a v2/3 one .... which also means swapping the piston and spring (as they are PSG1 style too) and adding a 10mm spacer in between the piston and piston head. i did read somewhere though that G&G no longer use the old style (PSG1 style) setup .... but i am not 100% sure as i cannot locate the source

Hey guys, i have a few of questions about spraying and krylon:- is it worth using krylon primer? where is the best place to buy? any tips on spraying? thanks in advance

thats the "anywhere in the world rate" ... register on there webby first then it should be greatly reduced
-
short answer yes ... long answer, yes ... sort off , they have a colour camera up front that has its IR filter removed, they then have a colour LCD display inside (so you can see), there is 2 sets of IR LED's, 1 low powered, 1 high powered .... in essence all you are seeing is IR, so not true "night vision" ....... but for what i paid i don't think ill loose any sleep over that fact Edit :- i just want to add that these are wayy better than the spynet nvg's, as these have an "auto balance" feature to try and stop them from washing out etc. G&G L85

(old pic) my G&G cm16 ... i don't why, but normally you cannot see the green on the RIS rail, but every camera really high lights it
-
its not a red dot its actually a 4x32 RGB Tri-Illuminated Compact Scope+Red Fiber Optics Sight see ebay item number 201091274383 as for the rail, the rail it had was 19mm, and i needed the offset as i have a big head, the original "z" style rail was too low, i must have spent £50 on rails trying to get something that worked and didn't look too pants (this is the least pants), its not finished mind as i plan to shape the top ris raiser ... i resemble that remark

my G&G L85, that i have been restoring

what size lipo did you use? is anything else damaged? i read on some very old american threads a while ago about alternative motors ... but i don't know of any being fitted, and i cannot for the life of me remember the motor size, if you do know the cage size (motor type/size), try hobby king as they seem to have a nice selection.
-
gotta say they was really helpful when i emailed them, and offered me a choice of compatible inner barrels etc
-
have a look on G&G's webby, and see if you can get the part number for the shorter barrel, then just email them for the bits ... i did this with my l85 hop+barrel (just beware of import VAT and RMG's ransom fee aka "clearance fee") or if/when you have the part number approach a G&G retailer

(in my view) it might be best to keep with a light gun then, as you are used to the weight etc, full metal guns tend to be a bit tiring on your arms if you are not used to them (but this is a personnel thing, as if you have biceps like pop eye it wont make much difference etc). one more thing to consider on a M4 is front rails, as this allows more upgrade options such as using a fore grip (i recommend this as it reduced wrist stress), and other add ons (torches PEQ boxes etc etc) the other thing to consider is gun balance, for instance, in my G&G CM16 raider, the battery is in the Stock, meaning a lot of the weight is close to your body, i find this to be very comfortable and easy on my arms etc. have you tried talking to a few locals at you local site, they normally love showing off there guns (i do ), and it would give you a chance to see how they feel to you
-
don't forget you can get low-cap mags for AEG's so easy to learn trigger discipline and have a hi-cap in reserve as for a good gun, i find my G&G raider great, its nice and light, and in over 18months of ownership, all i have done is give the barrel a good cleaning every now and then, nothing has dropped off etc. Its up to you as to which gun you go for, but just out of interest what have you been using at you local site? are they full metal?

most annoying me atm is :- Royal mail group (sorry to anyone who works for them), there ransom fee (aka clearance fee) is a joke, my postie ... who seems to have a random day off each week, and often doesn't seem to try and actually post stuff through my letter box ... honestly i have had a red card for something the same size but slightly thicker then an iphone, and i have a normal size letter box Any courier who goes straight to the rubber backed ornimental knocker (which makes no noise what so ever), and completely misses the door bell 2 inches below the ornimental knocker Sellers (on ebay and amazon) who say they have posted your item .... but the date on the stamp says no it was 3 or 4 days later (sorry for the rant at couriers, i know your not all the same etc i have just had a bad time atm)
