Ordered thousands of pounds worth of stuff from Echigoya without a hitch, pretty much the best place to order TM stuff in the world.

Don't do it it's incredibly dangerous, unsafe and potentially illegal.
There is no way to regulate the pressure, there is no way to monitor moisture and there is no way to mitigate or manage the transfer from liquid to gas.
Liquid Propane expands at 240 times in atmospheric air, and is incredibly volatile.
It can be done but has the potential to be catastrophic.
It's completely legal; Safe if you adhere to common sense. And incredibly dangerous? Eh no.
There is no need to regulate the pressure, we are maintaining pressure in both vessels, and the smaller ones usually have expansion release valves, the only reason for having a regulator is when using propane for residential reasons where the high pressure would be unsafe, thus need a regulator to reduce it, as we are specifically after that high pressure we don't have that issue.
If you are referring to ignition for volatility, yes it is. But common sense should prevail that naked flame/ spark etc + propane release = boom.
Catastrophic is possibly a little bit more on the fear-mongering side..

Did I say compressor...... NO I don't think I did, did I...... There's a special hand pump you can buy but usual Kiwi doesn't have anything usual to say just wants to try and be a joker..,,, grow up dude
And you took that as a joke? Get the bug out of your backside. Jeez.
An Air compressor capable of pumping a paintball tank can be costly, but if you get an oil free workshop 85 PSI capable compressor, and one of these - http://www.shoeboxcompressor.com/products.html - not so much.
If like me you need to travel 45 minutes to your nearest dive shop who charge you 8 quid a fill regardless of tank size, it levels itself out pretty damn quickly.
Also those stirrup pumps are overpriced cack. Unfiltered compressed air is an incredibly bad idea, much quicker degradation of seals, you've got to use them when the air is low humidity (sub 20%) which doesn't happen any time during the british summer, or you get copious amounts of moisture build up which can lead to corrosion inside the tank which can lead to a pressure blowout, which is incredibly dangerous.

special pump fill them.
An air compressor isn't particularly special

*Waffle Waffle, Snip*
You have apparently misunderstood the context here Grover
Its not a question of practicality, but of the airsoft variant of IPSC (International Practical Shooting Confederation).

My biggest complaint with them has nothing to do with how they fire, just the bloody tanks
(He says after having to convert a certain new acquisition to HPA to not use £20 of propane a day)

I would want to slap my past self for ever having bought a PTW.

In what way are they uncomfortable buddy? Size, do they rub etc?
Irritatingly large internal seams on the Fast fit ones which over prolonged periods of use, cause blisters in annoying places (Finger tips and between fingers). Also incredibly bulky, so completely useless if you have a narrow trigger guard, unlike the 5.11's which have a narrow end on each glove for the trigger finger.

All the mechanix love in this thread, I find them to be incredibly uncomfortable. 5.11 Tactical Scene One gloves for me

Hi just bought a WE M4 Gas blow back and am having trouble fing a dark earth pistol grip.. Can anyone give me any info on this please...
I have read that there is some modification to be done on the element grips.. But cant find any in stock anywhere...
Thanks
RS Grips are your best bet with WE, as they don't require modification.

Can I say it is a real steal weapon. The g5 is the issue rifle to the Georgian millitery.
Georgian Military may use something with the designation G5, but it is categorically *not* at all like the GHK G5, so no, it isn't a representation of a Real Steel Firearm. Source: http://www.geo-army.ge/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=735:-qq-&catid=4&Itemid=〈=en Pictures 64-85.

Well, as apart from the OP's posts, most of this appears to be speculation, I know someone personally who received a fixed term firearms ban, and he was categorically told that he wasn't able to have anything to do with airsoft during that fixed term, unless he really wanted a stay at HM's pleasure.
So OP, no, your family member won't be able to take part in airsoft at all.

I'm glad I don't have another half at the moment, don't think many would approve of how much i spend on certain items

It appears not... haha I would have thought being a wholesaler and all.
FYI, Airshooters is run by the same guys as iWholesale (Same physical address and web domain registrant) might want to give them a ring instead

Just draw out a template and cut up an old British issue roll mat that can be picked up for around £8 from a good army surplus. The foam is stiff enough to hold shape easily and light enough that you dont notice it. Worked perfectly in my 6094
And an added advantage, if it gets wet it doesn't go soggy like cardboard

I'm planning on getting a pdi barrel from Japan from x-fire for £55 shipped. Do you think I'd have to pay import tax on this?
Import duty? No. VAT? Yes. £11 of it. This link - https://www.gov.uk/goods-sent-from-abroad/tax-and-duty needs to be pinned somewhere and so does http://www.dutycalculator.com

Could of been worse he could of said KY jelly that would have definitely raised some eyebrows.
You kid, but having actually done it before, I can safely say KY does work..not explaining why it was used. Not a chance in hell.

have any of you been on the heretics facebook, I swear I've got a following even though I recognise maybe 2 of them, and I don't think even they have seen my face.
I think I want to start the "Cult of Geoff"

Nope, it's straight to the bin with that i'm afraid.

Private game playing in a laser tag arena, someone was using subpar ammunition and his gun got "stuck" in full auto as I was coming round the corner. Received a 3 second burst into my lower face mask, which would've been fine except the subpar bb's shattered and retained enough velocity passing through the mesh to wipe out half the teeth on my lower jaw. £600 dentist bill, which he graciously paid (well if he hadn't i'd probably have broken something of him >.> ) and he owes me pints for life.
To give strangers BBs or not

Nope. I use heavier ammo, which ends up working out at almost half again as expensive for a much smaller amount. Fine, I don't use anywhere as many but a High cap would take the same amount of BB's that would last me 4 or 5 game days. Only caveat to that, if a mate asks for a few (and I do mean a few) I will probably give to them, but random joe bloggs? Not a chance.
