  1. If this was just a simple 'make it look more futuristic' thing instead I'd just buy this furniture conversion kit, or install the M4 stock converter and buy a futuristic looking M4 stock. I'd also get a few of these mags if you can deal with 20rnd lo-caps. They'd break up the outline of the G36 and make it look more streamlined and alternative. Could be nice if you upgraded to DMR-spec? Maybe one of these RIS kits for a built in suppressor or a custom long and wide flash suppressor? You could take a suppressor to a milling machine if you have access to one and cut 6 evenly spaced slots out of it with a slot drill? That'd make it look really cool, like a massive flash hider. ^^If you don't like the idea of buying a suppressor and chopping bits out of it consider a futuristic flash hider like this one. Or you could forget long weapons and use almost completely stock parts to create something like this: ^^Just a simple 'futuristic G36' google search brought this up
  2. Even full size M4 AEGs aren't that heavy....I can easily aim with my almost full length M4 without having it shouldered, and it's even easier to do it with a red dot which he'd most likely use in CQB. It's not even hard to keep the dot on target lol.
  3. Been using King Arms 'Platinum Series' for the past couple of years (for a joke a lot of my mates bought me bags of 5K one birthday 2 years ago) and Blaster .25 and .30g. All of them have been great so far- however I think KA put more protective grease onto their BBs as there is a much more apparent smell of it in the bag compared to Blasters, so if you're using heavyweight KA BBs in a BASR you'll probably need to wash them a little more vigorously than usual. I still have an unopened pack of Bulldog .12s lurking around somewhere as well......sh*tty little spheres of bad plastic
  4. Considering doing what you did last time and have me an alternative- providing your mate doesn't break your AK could I have a go with it at the NAE? Makes more sense to try before you buy
  5. I'm liking the Patriot flash hider PAS stock. Barrett style compensator on your MP7? Well why not
  6. I'm a first timer like you, kaza . Travelling from Hampshire, I'll most likely be booked onto Bravo or Others. Hopefully gonna get meself a new toy on site, methinks an AK

  8. Specially the one on the left, he looks like he sells dodgy vehicle parts down the pub in his spare time Back to topic then I'm building up a CB/Tan PMC scout sniper loadout atm, only got a few bits left before completion and a little bit of a rifle respray. I took a little inspiration from this pic (guy on the right with the Barrett): However I'm not using the exact same stuff, these are the items I've already got (hung up on the left): To finish this loadout off I'm gonna be getting: Desert Tigerstripe trousers CB/Tan scrim scarf Tan gloves Lightweight tan boots (have yet to find a pair)
  9. £140 is very reasonable compared to £170 for new because he's including 2 extra mags and night sights with the Glock. The exact weapon with tritium insert sights and 2 extra mags comes to £206.50 incl. shipping off firesupport.co.uk. With the holster is an extra £40 from tactical-kit.co.uk. I'd say that's more than a fair price. But that's my 2p's worth.
  10. Yeah, was writing that post in a rush as I was late to a BBQ :S
  11. +1 for stitch me up, my team has had good relations with them in the past
  12. Coyote shirt and tan rig arrived (I know they don't match, that's the point ) next up on the list is some CB or desert tigerstripe trousers, a CB scrim scarf and some tan gloves. They were out of stock when I ordered the scarf so it'll wait until I get the other stuff. Quick pic of upper layers of each loadout:
  13. My team's ordering some patches from them now, I suggested the firm to our captain the other day and he's got some coming through.
  14. I like the fire axe and the beans, you should get a crash helmet as well to fit in with those South Coast feels

It's pricey...but I expected it to be more

f*ck me that is expensive. A LCT VAL from WGC cost 216 pounds, with no shipping. That's just stupid amounts of markup on FireSupport's side. KA VSS only costs 170 pounds in the US. This is just hilarious.

      For that price? No thanks!

  15. It's design is pretty nice, the amount of hop is controlled by a knurled disc with a stepped, threaded shaft. The underside has been cut so it fits with a ratchet in the scope mount, making it easy to measure the amount of hop you give the weapon. As you tighten the disc the nub is pushed down. It'd be nicer if finding parts for the M700 wasn't so annoying. The best tightbore barrels for it are supposed to be the 6.01 640mm EDGi barrels, however the only place I can find them (Evike) doesn't stock them any more; and rumour has it they've moved to a chinese factory with terrible QC. I'm gonna have to make do with MadBull 6.03mm 650mm or a LayLax 6.02 590mm tightbore. Thankfully FireSupport stock the rest of the parts I need. (A short list if PT247 needs it for his takedown version M700) LayLax 6.02mm 590mm TBB w/rubber G&G gas route connector spring G&G Hop rubber and seal set for M700 (gonna test the difference between G&G and LayLax rubbers, plus it's all 1 product) King Arms steel strike plate w/striker spring All totals at £99.50 incl. delivery. Ouch
  16. How is it for build quality and performance? One of my mates is interested in getting one for his '50s soviet loadout
  17. 'Tis a peculiar shape- it's more of a wedge than any other shape. Not sure if it would fit in other guns. Here's a pic anyhow:
  18. ^^This, after my dad took up smallbore gallery rifle shooting I became a junior club member through him and get free coaching, as well as him paying for my ammo (although that mainly because I don't hold a license and he does)
  19. Yeah, I'm going to see if I can get a 3D printed version made up for when it does. I have access to one at college so it's all good.
  20. > Noticed M700 wasn't hopping properly > Opened her up > Holy shit the hop is annoying to dismantle > Notice nub is disfigured due to pressure > Take nub > Place on table > Take hairdryer > Soften nub on lowest setting > Tease it back to original shape > Leave to cool > Reassemble hop unit > Annoyingly difficult, took several attempts > Get weapon back together after a slight clean and re-oil > Testing tomorrow
  21. I'd like so see a gas non-shell ejecting lever action rifle or shotgun, preferably winchester
  22. Deffo, needs to be one made by G&G/G&P/Marui
  23. ^^problem is Lord Metile is U18 so he can't get a UKARA defense. If he got a junior membership at a local site that could work as some sites will let junior members buy RIFs at their shop if an adult parent/carer is there in person.
  24. It really doesn't matter. They'll both perform exactly the same, the internals are pretty much identical.
