Just taped the inner barrel of my M700 to eliminate all barrel wobble (after loosing the muzzle cap at my last skirmish, grr) and hammered slightly bent hop adjustment screw straight. Still needs some flattening though.

I've got deans already installed in my M4, the gun came with a deans-tamiya adaptor, so I'm fine for anything from that end. Componentshop offer deans on their batteries with installation for £1 so I'll get it ordered with that option ticked. I have no idea about the make, it took a little while figuring out the fit as you need to push the second smaller part to it down to fit in the D ring gear. It's a pretty weird product though; it comes in 2 parts. One part has 3 rails and the other has 1- they slot together very tightly, I had to file the fuse holder down to get it into the gap between the outer barrel and the first hand guard part. It looks a little like this, just without the markings and the hex screws:

Why mess around with tape when you can do a simple 2 layer paint job? I believe it's a fiver for a can of spray paint from Halford's- get a can of OD or dark green and a can of dark brown/black, give the weapon a base layer of green and add some diagonal stripes of black or brown. I understand this is permanent and removal might result in damage, but if it does you've bought a very poorly made rifle. Assuming we're starting off with a RIF, another way would be to get some dark coloured elastic bands or silicone wrist bands (job lot of 10 for £4.99) wrap them around various parts of the rifle and add site specific foliage which can come off at the end of the day. I think this way may be better in cases, since different sites across the UK will have different seasonal colours within the local flora. For example, you could be at a site populated with beech trees one week and need to camo up with the silvery twigs, but come the next and you could be at a site covered with fir trees and have the option to use them, instead of having 1 tone of camo tape or burlap (which may work for your 'home' site but might not for skirmish sites further afield).

Gas and CO2 arrived. The xtreme 45 shoots so amazingly, makes such a louder sound then gas as well- I was scaring birds out of the trees 40m away lol the rifle shoots pretty well but needs a new hop and barrel at least before I can think of HPA conversions.

Problem with that is UK forces don't use the LSW as a supporting weapon in a conventional sense- it's only useful for range support as the barrel is fixed, so if you start spraying rounds in long bursts without giving it a chance to cool the barrel will warp and accuracy will decrease. That's why they patrol with Minimis and GPMGs.
