  1. No need for that stuff before getting mags and boots! Plus they're generally known as modifications, you won't really be upgrading anything except maybe your stock's quality
  2. I've played an entire day on one 800 MaH, you just have to be sparing with your shots (within reason)
  3. Yep. I have that charger and it works with the smaller whiter connector you see on the battery next to the mini tamiya. You have to plug it in towards the right hand side of the charge port as the port on the charger is 4 pin and the plug on the LiPo is 3 pin. They still work just you need to plug it in like this:
  4. Get yourself to a few skirmishes and then you'll be able to take it off
  5. If you cut it, the gun's fucked unless you're good at rewiring. I suggest leave it for now until you find some online video guides for the gun you're modding. Or just don't bother with the stock tube- what's the point in buying a full size stocked rifle if you just want to remove the stock system completely?
  6. I don't think there's another system like the EOTech magnifier + holographic. Magnified sights aren't useful for standard AEGs as it'll take longer to aim and get the sight onto a target (smaller FOV and all that) and 9/10 times you engage someone it'll be with the red dot/holographic or iron sights. Telescopic sights are only really useful on sniper rifles and DMR standard AEGs.
  7. Mini Tamiya works with most guns however Deans connectors are better because there's more surface area on the connectors for current to pass through. A lot of guns don't come with deans however you can get them modded by someone who is proficient with a soldering iron.
  8. Yup, converted Marlin lever action. Elftmann 'Bull' conversion kit.
  9. How about this? Bullpup, curved shotgun style receiver, pseudo 1911 style pistol grip- what's not to like?
  10. I'd get the barrel replaced with a higher quality one with a better twist rate and add some decent optics to the top for a designated marksman role. Lever action's much quicker than bolt and quieter than semi automatic I love the tactical BAR. Some historical weapons are ruined when made tactical, but I think, with a little receiver milling to shed excess weight (shallow slots cut into the side like on a P226's slide) it could be made much better and lighter. I'd love to see a tactical Bren with a G36 style double bollock mag on the top, it's be a laugh
  11. Little M4 update; brown furniture: Left the pistol grip black as it's not the original grip and I didn't spray it with sh*tty black PlastiKote 'matte' paint.
  12. I don't really mind however it's not great for newer players or people on a budget as parts, guns and accessories can be cheaper elsewhere.
  13. Except maybe a steel pinion gear so you can put a stronger spring in.
  14. What's with these copper coloured RIS systems? New fashion or something?
  15. I've got it and it works perfectly with the battery i've mentioned. I've used that type of battery over a 2 day period and it still had charge afterwards.
  16. 7.4V 800mAh 25C continuous discharge lipo battery (Giant Power) 700mA Charger for 1S to 3S (3.7 / 7.4 / 11.1V) Li-Po and LiFe battery packs
  17. Their moderators are terrible and ban people for minor offences. They also don't allow the posting of links to retailers and forums other than ZeroOne and ZeroIn.
  18. +1 for component shop. You can pick up a simple 25C 7.2v LiPo for £6.70 and a charger with power supply for under £10.
  19. CoD camos aren't edgy, they're downright ludicrous.
  20. You'd have to spend bloody ages painting if you want to achieve that effect with a brush/airbrush. If I were you I'd strip the entire gun down and get the pattern hydrographically applied, or maybe go for something more simple you can do with spray paint and stencils. This is what I did with my rifle using a can of brown Krylon, a can of black PlastiKote and a circles stencil: You can achieve a great look without really complex paint jobs and still be able to easily resell your rifle. You could even make your own stencils with card and a craft knife, and then apply it with Krylon spray paint (the best kind for painting stuff that needs to be non-reflective)
  21. What's with the ladder? Tactical second floor entry?
