  1. Has anyone been to Ace Combat Airsoft in Tunbridge Wells? Worth a visit?

If Ace Combat was the only site within travelling distance of me, i would either give up airsoft or move.

  2. Has anyone had any experience ordering from these fellers? Only place that seems to stock the mags currently.

  3. On a psychological basis the whole Mr. No Brain back and forth is pretty fascinating, while also being entertaining to check back in on and all in all top quality internet nonsense.

@Mr. No_Face, for someone who does not want to be here, you are spending a lot of time here.

  4. Thinking either hiking across Dartmoor, or travelling somewhere long distance to play Airsoft this weekend. Anyone got any recommendations on sites that are worth travelling and staying overnight for? Maybe a Saturday and Sunday? Restricted to Public Transport. I was looking at some of the sites in East Anglia. But looking for other suggestions.

@Asomodai Nice!  There are some great routes around that area.

Hiking across Dartmoor beats airsoft every time; my son and I had three days on the moor last weekend, our first visit this year.

  6. I would like to thank the makers of the Spitfire & Bifrost tracers. Your products make locating players who use them in daytime woodland skirmishes, quick and easy.

They are great outdoors, for the players on the other side.  I came up against one for the first time a few weeks ago; a really well hidden player with a nice flashing light each time he shot.

The last time I had an offer like that was from a chap who was in possession of a rather large quantity of Colombian marching powder.

  8. hi there i was wondering if you can tweak a co2 airsoft rifle so it can harm rats

@AirSniper, you are still making strawman arguments and creating scenarios that are not relevant to the OP's situation.

Most of us here fully understand that the VCRA is not the sole Act covering what we do with our toy guns.

You do seem to be struggling; lay off whatever you are using and/or get some professional help.

@AirSniper, you seem to be arguing against things that nobody is saying.  Are you ok?

      @AirSniper ,
      1. Scotland is in the UK and is covered by UK law on ownership of airsoft RIFs; no licence is required.

      2. In the UK, it is NOT an offence to own an airsoft RIF.

The OP is in NI, where there is a blanket 1J limit, regardless of the type or style of weapon.

You are not going to beat the little buggers by shooting or poisoning them; you have to go to the source of the problem, which is probably the chip shop.

Contact the environmental health team, food standards and the local media.  EH and FS can take action against the chip shop, while media interest can put pressure on them.

  14. This might be a silly question, as I'm reading conflicting threads but does the UK have a national airsoft FPS limit?

Looking to pick up a Real Sword AK but would the FPS downgrade to 350FPS be required? Any guidence would be grand, thanks.

Possibly not quite flawless; Northern Ireland, which is part of the UK, has a 1J limit across both semi- and full-auto.

They are just as simple to fit to a CYMA as they are to E&L and LCT.

If it is a VFC style AK, with a large pin holding the rear sight block in place, the Combat Union unit is the only sensible choice.

  18. Just ordered 2x combat union hops for my SVD and incoming SVU 😁

      Crackingly good pieces of kit!

Essential for any decent VFC style AK setup.

  19. so the ZCI rotary hop unit is a very tight fit into the combat machine outer barrel

It is quite normal for there to be a gap; that is what the brass ring is for.

  20. we really need agoverning body to take over this sport so it can be a recognised sport so we dont get shafted anymore than we already do!.......rant over lol XD

Just because a group claim to be the governing body or the national body does not mean that they are.

      UKPSF state that:

The role and objects of this Federation are to carry on any non-commercial or not-for-profit activity, or any industry, business or trade so as to:

      (a) Act as a representative national body for all paintball sports.

Yep, which sort of destroys the "they have a governing body" argument.
