heh, we've all done kinda similar stuff.  I should've broken my CA RAS with the way I handled it and I cold-welded a CA silencer to my flash hider way back in the day.

I've got a real RAS here but thanks mate.  Did you break an outer barrel somehow?

@AirsoftTed In retrospect I should've said M4A1 is that's exactly what it was, just has a real old school surefire handguard in place of a USGI plastic handguard or a RAS.

@Herrgh far as I can see they stopped making whole guns at least a couple of years ago, did just a few accessories and now even those have stopped.

Reliability is amazing, love to see it.  Personally I've just not seen anyone in any context using a fully swiss-cheese-perforated purple and orange shiny anodised pistol, but someone somewhere must be.

Don't worry I know all about the E&C stuff well, on account of them being one of a low-single-digits number of brands making stuff that actually looks decent and practical 😂

They don't really come up for sale here much, I guess if someone invests they tend to keep it, plus very few will pay that NIB price from a shop in the first place for said item to even make it to the 2nd hand market.  European store prices are inflated, but as long as you make sure it's real then it's worth considering.

If it was close to the new one I want then I'd go for it but when I see externals that have been molested that much... oof no..

It is not tbh I just like the M16 and it will not be kept historically accurate, but the A1 is by far the best base model for what I want in various respects.

Pure drop-ship operation and they do not care about airsofters; which isn't actually a ding on them imho.  The issue is they're not clear about who they are when you go on the site, you're just expected to know, which people of course don't.  But you'll not get 99% of the stuff they offer any other way, if you don't like long silent waits, don't go to them.  Not a conventional business.

You can't go wrong with anything mostly med-dark brown for *most* woodland *most* of the time.  Obviously varies a lot on local flora trends, season and weather conditions.

Years ago it was always "will you take X?", with X being a small percentage less than the asked price, that was fine, happy with that, always made for good transactions.

This "what  will you take?" is annoying af.  If I wanted to take less than the price I've advertised, I'd have advertised at a lower price initially to expedite the sale.  The quoted price is what I would like to get, if you want to make an offer I can consider it and if it's reasonable more than likely accept it.

It's just about the same pot metal as everyone else uses.  They just do the finish a bit nicer.

Could be impurities in the gas or dirt in the environment.  GBBs don't inherently create substantial fouling inside themselves when shot the way firearms do.  I mean heck maybe the TM plastic wears away just a tiny bit every game and that accumulates, who knows, I'd suspect the gas or environment first though.

I've got a couple of TMs that are more than a decade old, never been cleaned, don't need cleaning unless they drop in the muck.  There's a bit more of an argument to do it on some metal slide guns as the paint will gradually be worn away and deposit inside, mixing with any oil/grease and creating a small amount of gritty gunk over a long enough period.

Stuff gets stuck sometimes even with an in-date UKARA entry. They're pretty on the ball. Hopefully they won't decide your RIF importation attempt is a criminal one..

Well say that then, because as with most niche gear and stuff related to pistols, there is tons in America but none over here. Get one custom made, or import.
