Are you sure that's really their site? It's very different to their official site Bigstew posted and tbh I'd expect TM to have a site that looks like it was made later than 1998. Have you considered to postage cost? This often brings the total cost up to similar to UK prices

It'd be a shame if someone was to add the dickhead's e mail to a particularly dodgy mailing list

The 'What have you just bought' Thread
Cannonfodder replied to Cameron364's topic in Guns, Gear & Loadouts
They're German para boots. You're right that it could've been on there before getting to the shop but the ink looked quite fresh. Luckily the hand sanitiser has done the job after a few more tries -

Don't worry, I've got plenty of that stuff. The trouble is that sometimes the ink can still be visible through the polish so it really needs to be removed. I tried a wet cloth but that did nothing so tried alcohol based hand sanitiser and that started to take it off very slowly. Yes this is only a minor issue that can be sorted relatively easily, but what annoyed me is that it didn't need to happen at all if the shop staff had used a little common sense. -

A new pair of boots from Militarymart. Unfortunately some absolute muppet decided the best way to mark the size of said boots is to write it on the top of the toe in white marker pen. -
This is one of the reasons I like this forum, scamming twats are dealt with quickly

This. Iirc under UK distance selling laws the seller is responsible for the parcel right up till it's in the buyer's hands. If a seller is holding on to someone's money and delaying giving a refund then any negative feedback is deserved

It's a version 3 gearbox

It might help if you posted in the right place https://airsoft-forums.uk/classifieds/category/17-guns-wanted/

As others have posted, use it for at least 1 full game day before looking at potential upgrades. This will give a better idea of what, if anything, needs changing. That being said, the most likely things that'll need changing will be the hop rubber and spring. Fortunately these are both easily done

Elite Force 'Umarex' HK416 A5 ERG (KWA)
Cannonfodder replied to Doyley83's topic in General Discussion
Umarex doesn't make any airsoft guns, they just rebrand guns from someone else and jack the price up -
Of all my m4 mags the one that came with my SA gun feeds the worst

It's definitely interesting and I always welcome something new but with it being a cheap clone I can't help thinking the blowback just another potential point of failure. Don't get me wrong, cyma make some excellent guns, but I'm just not sold on this

So like every AEP I've seen before then

What's your budget roughly? Knowing that will help us make specific recommendations The cheap red dots often have the problem of ghosting, this is where a second dot is visible due to reflections between the glass. If the dot is adjustable lowering the brightness can reduce the effect Anything by Acetech will be good. Alternatively the nuprol trasers are good but they're not as bright and don't have the extra functions Any cheap on from amazon will do the job. It's a sacrificial part so there's no point spending more than necessary I use the pistol mag size ones. No idea on the brand, sorry I know alit of people slag them off but I've never had any problems with nuprol batteries. Their chargers on the other hand I wouldn't touch with a barge pole. Alternatively turnigy or vapex

Early reports suggest the rioters did thousands of pounds of improvements

Imo it depends on the site you play at, there's no point in us telling you to zero at a certain range if engagement ranges don't get that far or your gun won't shoot that far. Mine is set for about the 40m mark at the moment. Also it's worth getting into the habit of checking and rezeroing your sight in the morning before a game as knocks from transporting etc can cause the point of aim to shift, especially with the cheaper optics

Which spring to use to stay under 350fps?
Cannonfodder replied to FelipeFlops's topic in General Help
Good thinking. Trying to get closer to the site limit would be a waste of time as you could easily go over and that extra 6fps will make bugger all difference anyway -
By the time a Navy pilot pulled into a little town, every hotel room was taken. "You've got to have a room somewhere," he pleaded. "Or just a bed, I don't care where." "Well, I do have a double room with one occupant, a Marine pilot," admitted the manager, "and he might be glad to split the cost. But to tell you the truth, he snores so loudly that people in adjoining rooms have complained in the past. I'm not sure it'd be worth it to you." "No problem," the tired Navy pilot assured him. "I'll take it." The next morning the Navy Pilot came down to breakfast bright-eyed and bushy-tailed. "How'd you sleep?" Asked the manager. "Never better." The manager was impressed. No problem with the other guy snoring, then?" "Nope, I shut him up in no time." Said the Navy pilot. "How'd you manage that?" asked the manager. "He was already in bed, snoring away, when I came in the room, I went over, gave him a kiss on the cheek, said, 'Goodnight, beautiful,' ...and he sat up all night watching me."

Obviously it depends on how trigger happy you are but I'd be surprised if you went through a whole can in one day I use .2s for cqb as the extra range given using heavier ammo isn't necessary. Probably but that's half the fun of it Playing with a pistol doesn't make you a speed softer it's down to the tactics and kit used. Fortunately many cqb sites are banning things like trigger spamming and prefiring If you can I'd highly recommend picking up 1 or 2 extra mags for the pistol

I wouldn't return it, just give the barrel and hop unit a really good clean, the gun should've come with a cleaning rod and Instructions can be found online. To be honest it's a good idea to clean out the barrel of new guns anyway as they often (especially the clones) come with dirty barrels) This

A quick Google search shows these go for £260 new so if it was in good condition and wasn't a repainted 2 tone the 70% rule of thumb would put the asking price at £189. Unfortunately though with the issues already mentioned that's going to knock it down further so is say £130 sounds about right
