dad wont let me own an airsoft gone (read post please)

I'm not "getting off" on anything, just saying how the OP comes across to me. Imo repetitively asking after being told no is hardly a sign of maturity -

As others have posted, its sales to under 18s which is legal not owning one, however as you're living with your parents then it's their house so their rules Also as you posted you've asked "more than a million times" but won't accept his answer so started this thread suggests to me you're not as mature as you think -
That sounds like a them problem 99% of problems can be solved with pyros. For the remaining 1% add more pyros

Waco’s guide to field sustainment
Cannonfodder replied to The Waco Kid's topic in Guns, Gear & Loadouts
This is still good info for those who play at sites where lunch isn't provided or is frankly a bit shit as on a cold day a hot meal or drink can really boost morale. In these situations I've often taken a flask of tea (you really should avoid coffee as caffeine dehydrates you) and a small gas stove with a camping meal along with a set of mess tins. Alternatively there's the self heating MRE style meals. These are more expensive but are great if space is an issue as you only need to add some water in the outer bag and a chemical reaction produces heat to warm the food pouch. -
What upgrades for Nuprol Delta Pioneer Defender?
Cannonfodder replied to DannyG's topic in Electric Guns
As above. Unfortunately parts compatibility in airsoft is pretty crap, even with parts from the same manufacturer so while one person may find the new parts drop straight in, others might have to get to work with a dremel Personally I'd take advice from most shop staff with a pinch of salt as it's their job to sell you stuff. One exception to this is @ak2m4 as he knows what he's talking about -
What particularly annoys me about this is that I remember airsoft world being quite vocal about how they were so involved in getting our defence, yet seem to be looking at ways round it at every opportunity

Cosplay is the same as reenactment? Now they're really taking the piss The last reply along with the refund makes me think they know its a steaming pile of bullshit and they paid out to stop it potentially going further

Thanks

Fair play to them for adding it to the website but it wasn't there when I visited

Am I the only one who thinks asking just over 80% of the price for a new one of these monstrosities is a bit steep? -
Exactly. You'd think a rule like this would be made obvious rather than being hidden away

This. While it might save a few quid posting via another courier if something goes wrong there's a big chance the courier won't pay out on the insurance

Don't get me wrong, I've no problem with the barrel sock rule, in fact I think its a great idea. My issue was with the marshal's attitude

I think you're right on both counts. Mind you it'd help if cyma stuck to one design per model number as the patrol base pictures show it without a delta ring/barrel nut/whatever it's called, but the bbgunz4less listing shows it with one. -
I know, I've only just stopped laughing at the silly twat I saw it's a very small site but tbh I'm not too concerned about the overall size, it's the quality of the games which I'm more interested in as I've had mixed days at other places like this.

Just to clarify, is that binary triggers are banned or that there wasn't anyone using one?
-
Agreed. With how light some triggers are it can be very easy for someone to spam the trigger and put more plastic down range than I could with my 870. There was also the old marushin M500 shotguns which would fire 5 bbs (or 3 if you went with the 8mm) down one barrel but nobody had a problem with.

I'm at the other end of town so it's a bit far for me to go just for a burger

Uncle Tim's? I've heard good things about there but never been

It was the attitude of the owner and staff I didn't like. After arriving slightly late due to the trains I still had a face mask round my neck (it was just after covid and taxis weren't taking passengers without one) only for said owner to go into a rant about how covid was killing his business and was a load of fuss over nothing. When he finally finished and I asked for clarification of pyro rules I was told not to bother as nobody takes them. Next I had to ask several times for someone to chrono my guns, only to be told they'd be there in a couple of minutes but they never bothered. In the end I thought fuck it and joined the next game as I knew the guns were all under site limits and I'm not paying money to stand in the safezone waiting for them to finish chatting. Then later after a game I had a marshal ask why I don't have a barrel sock. When I said this was the first I'd heard about needing one I got a grumpy reply of "well it's on the Facebook page" These along with a few other things gave me the impression they don't care and see customers as nothing but an inconvenience. I can't really say too much about the playing area as it was a night game so only one small part was used but I do agree that the facilities in the safezone were very good compared to some places I've been

True, but that's like saying saying herpes is better than gonorrhea

So did I till I played a game there
