Macks airsoft dreamers of the week thread
Cannonfodder replied to Mack's topic in General Discussion
Paired with these My favourite part of the description is this "There is a hole at the bottom perfect for attaching paracord to hold the axes when not using them. The blade features many sharp points allow it to dig into the target" I'm not sure I'd want something with so many sharp points and edges swinging around attached to me -
Nor am I but I figure if the mods didn't want the rest of us to be able to see and comment then this thread wouldn't be visible to us peasants

So the stock and rails were green but it looks like the inside of the mag well is blue. Makes me think it's a parts bin build -

Members is a good way of describing them

Bunker 51 in administration and closed
Cannonfodder replied to Colin Allen's topic in General Discussion
That's certainly one way to lower costs but I'm not sure Bunker 51 could've done that as they also ran paintball laser tag and escape rooms. From looking on companies house it appears that of all the related companies Bunker 51 is the only one going into administration so hopefully they're going to find a new site -
Bunker 51 in administration and closed
Cannonfodder replied to Colin Allen's topic in General Discussion
Well that's a shame. I know alot of people like to crap on the place but tbh I never had any problems there (possibly because I went to midweek games). Thinking about it I'm surprised they lasted as long as they did, the rent alone must be bloody high considering the location -
2x optic or red dot for outdoor airsoft?
Cannonfodder replied to bradleyj's topic in Guns, Gear & Loadouts
This. There's so many things in airsoft where what works for one doesn't for others. Unfortunately the only way to be sure is to try it. What red dot do you have? It might be possible to pair it with a magnifier so you can use the red dot for close range shots and flip the magnifier over for those where it's needed As they say beauty is in the eye of the beholder -
2x optic or red dot for outdoor airsoft?
Cannonfodder replied to bradleyj's topic in Guns, Gear & Loadouts
Welcome. I'm guessing you've not played yet. If so then I'd stick with just the red dot for the moment and see how you get on with it. As @Tackleposted with the ranges we're dealing with a red dot site will do. -
You're right that a wankergun can be built with any platform but that requires a bit of effort and skills. Unfortunately it only takes one or two twats to ruin a gameday

It really depends on what you want from your back up gun. If you want something to use within the MED of your bolt action while staying hidden then definitely go for a Mk23 socom. However if you want something than let's you put rounds out before buggering off then a small AEG would be better. As @Rogerborg postedthe galaxy MP5K would be perfect for this if you can find one in stock.

It always makes me laugh when someone thinks the servicing costs can be passed on to others -
They're doing mid week games? There's nothing on the rift website about that Edit. I'm obviously going blind in my old age. Midweek games are starting next year

Personally I've no problem with being hit by 8 bbs from 1 pull of the trigger, the issue with this is that its semi auto with what appears to be a very light trigger. Put it this way, we've all seen the "no full auto in the buildings" video. Now imagine that with 8 bbs every shot. At least the gas 6 shot shotguns have to be pumped, lowering the rof. For anyone who hasn't seen it

New and renewed adverts without username & dates
Cannonfodder replied to novioman's topic in General Discussion
I'm sure Tackle said earlier in the thread something about giving it till Saturday. As it's now monday and some clearly haven't gotten the hint I say go for it -
Knew what? That you were trying to hijack a completely unrelated thread? I'd hardly call you new to the forum considering you joined over 3 years before posting

IMO this is your best bet. Community based sites like yours (and here) are only as good as their members and tbh the members of airsoft hub seem to be scammers, dreamers and morons

I really do like the new advert incomplete pictures going up on ads that don't comply -

I guess he means the grip safety -
This. Yes there are shotguns which can fire more per trigger pull but they're pump action. This is just asking for dickheads to finger bang the trigger and piss people off. Also I get the impression the guy being interviewed doesn't really understand the ballistics of shotguns. The average spread of the shot is roughly 1 inch per yard, not the pull the trigger and everything in front of you is gone that this guy seems to be pushing

Correct. However I haven't seen those green grips before so maybe there's £100 worth of krylon on there??? Also I don't know where he got the idea that's a flared mag well. It looks pretty standard to me -

Which I agree is a good thing, afterall nobody wants to see innocent people getting scammed. I just get the impression that the mods there don't give a monkeys whether ads are legitimate or not -

I'm in two minds over this. While stopping scammers is always a good thing, it shouldn't be up to this forum to police their shitty site
