  1. That doesn't surprise me. From the short time I was in the group I got the distinct impression that anything other than having your tongue up the owner's arse wasn't acceptable
  2. Again only if you're a third party contractor, those working directly for the site don't need to be licensed. According to the link the only person who might need to be licensed is the owner/director and that would depend on the reasons the cameras are worn
  3. Volunteers also don't need a licence, although I'm not sure if being reimbursed for travel expenses could be counted as payment. That would be for the courts to decide if it ever comes to that (and if it did the site would probably have bigger problems to worry about) It could also be argued that marshals are there in more of a stewarding role than security so again wouldn't need to be licensed. More info on what you do and don't need a SIA licence for can be found here https://www.gov.uk/guidance/find-out-if-you-need-an-sia-licence#when-you-do-not-need-an-sia-licence Its not so much the cameras being worn which could be a legal minefield, more how the images are used Has anyone asked Driver Wood why they've decided to do this?
  4. Has anyone played at Future Survival in Gravesend before? If so what are your thoughts? From what little I can find online this looks like one of those activity centres which do things like laser tag and escape rooms branching out into airsoft, but I can't find much online about them and none of what I can find is related to airsoft
  5. Only if they're working for another company contracted to provide security etc, staff directly working "in house" don't. The only exceptions to this are door supervision in licenced premises or vehicle imobilisation (NI only)
  6. It'd help if you told us what part of the country you're in. There's no point us recommending sites if they're the wrong end of the country In the meantime try here https://playairsoft.uk/
  7. Nice. If there's a way to make the black parts look chromed then I know what loadout I'm doing
  8. This would be one of those situations where intentions and the outcome are very different things
  9. This is an odd one. I've only played there once and while I wont be going back I didn't see any need for staff to wear body cams. I know they do other activities like paintball and axe throwing so I'm guessing they might've had trouble there so now cameras have to be worn for all activities. Of course it could simply be down to the owner trying to show how professional his staff are for extra clout on social media
  10. Care to elaborate on your passive aggressive nonsense, or are you just going to post another out of focus photo?
  11. Also the faceache page hasn't been updated since 5th of February so I think you're right. Still, it'd be nice if they actually told people
  12. Till the cocking handle breaks and goes flying across the room
  13. Plastic bodied mp5s are probably one of the lightest AEGs around so tbh I'm not sure you'll find anything significantly lighter without using a pistol. As others have posted your best bet is to get a sling
  14. Much better This. After the success of their other gas shotguns I'm surprised tm haven't released one
  15. I got all excited when I saw the words gas shotgun then I scrolled down. Bloody hell that thing is fugly
  16. I saw pictures on faceache a few weeks ago but tbh I just assumed that it'll be a few years before its available. I just hope it's more reliable than the g&g gbb rifles
  17. It's not the price that's the issue here, but the nearly new description
  18. I've been banned from shooting in the house. I can't complain though as I managed to scare the shit out of the neighbour's wannabe gangster kids. They saw me plinking in the garden and asked if it was real. For fun I said "this one, no". Strangely they have always been nice and polite to me since
  19. I'd say the zombie themed games are usually aimed more towards the stag do or birthday party market and from experience those groups tend to make game days worse rather than better. Combined with an inability to answer simple questions quite frankly I'd rather shit in my hands and clap than give them any money
  20. Agreed. I tend to buy new as I'm happy to pay a little more for something where I know it's new and I have the peace of mind knowing if it is a lemon it can go straight back for a refund. Also tbh it's very rare that something shows up in the classifieds which piques my interest and I actually have funds for
  21. I'd say being a member of the forum for years and with a post count in the hundreds probably helps. While it's not definitive proof its certainly more likely that a long term member with many posts is going to be an airsofter than someone who only joined last week and has only made a couple of posts
  22. What is it with site owners acting like cunts towards other sites? A local site to me has had trouble from the owner of another nearby site since before they even opened.
  23. Despite playing regularly I haven't had an active site membership for a couple of years but I've still managed to get my hands on rifs, it just takes a bit more effort. The big issue with schemes like just cos is that our defence was given on the basis that the airsoft community would be self policing. So when retailers are actively looking to promote ways of selling rifs to people without them ever setting foot on a site it comes across as a big middle finger to those who put in the work getting our defence. Not to mention the fact that said defence could easily be taken away at the stroke of a pen so they're potentially putting the hobby (and their own business) at risk
