  1. What do you mean by manage? You just re-fill the tank when empty @OP avoid shell ejecting, it'll just piss you off
  2. http://www.airsoft-forums.co.uk/index.php/topic/26438-falcons-ainsley-aug/ Of course there's a thread on it lol
  3. If you're going to do it, you need to get a custom hydro dip film. Something along the lines of this
  4. G&p/tm recoil with mag adapter/kwa erg. Any of the above will be ideal
  5. +1, and if anything id say this kind of reverse snobbery is just as bad
  6. Not exactly the same, the ASG has the trades on it, but in essence it's the same. Same internals etc, ASG is a re-branding company (much like Cybergun and Umarex) and their aw.338 is the ares. I said they're not bad for upgrades- not that they're particularly great but not bad, which is true, they're not terrible. Your comment on £100+ being more than the rifle is worth is a bit odd though as for any half decent sniper rifle you'll be spending a few hundred pounds on upgrades anyway. If you buy decent parts (PDI etc) then you won't be needing to replace parts and in the eventuality that you did, I'm sure they'd sell you them separately. Their customer service is good, if not quite perfect English and they sell parts separately for the majority of the other guns they supply parts for. @OP As it is though this is all a moot point though as you're after a back garden plinker so upgrading is not necessary and either will do the job, and the ASG is the cheaper so the one to go for. I'd advise reading Ed's thread on the gun here: http://www.airsoft-forums.co.uk/index.php/topic/14275-comprehensive-ares-aw-338-spring-version-msr-00678-review/
  7. Both are the same gun, just as you say the ASG has the trades on it. The loading mech is finicky- ask Airsoft-Ed about that as he had one. They're not that bad for upgrades, they take VSR pistons, spring guides, springs, cylinder heads and buckings and the trigger and cylinder has complete upgrade sets from PDI.
  8. Another perfectly nice gun that ICS have fucked up.
  9. I don't see why it matters at a normal skirmish gameday. If it's a huge problem and you don't like people not working hard at the game then try a milsim. Some people just turn up for a laugh with friends and the social side, who are we to criticise that? They could just easily be thinking we are all just a bit keen and could do with lightening up.
  10. I'm having a break from playing but I used to use a gorilla box, a couple of DDPM bergens and various gun bags, boxes and a shoebox. That's what I used but it will depend on what you have and what you need to bring with you. Each thing is good at some things but not great at others- the gorilla box is great for plate carriers and gear but not so good for guns, the gun bags are the opposite etc. If you're on a budget i'd look online as you can get some cheap gun bags from Asia, and then a sports holdall or similar will be good for your gear.
  11. I get that it's annoying but I don't have a huge problem with it. At a milsim then I'd agree but at a normal skirmish people pay to enjoy their day and if that's what they want to do so be it, not everyone is comfortable with getting close in on the action or running around constantly. If it affects the gameplay too much then the site management should recognise that and change the teams around to sort the issue.
  12. Since when are paintball rules dictated by the country you're in? You stated that you're categorically not allowed headshots in paintball. Tad simply said that's not true and that some sites allow it. Even if some countries don't allow it (and I'd be surprised if there was a law in any country saying headshots don't count as kills in paintball) that just proves Tad's point that some sites do allow it and some don't.
  13. The classic. 'For sale, practically new and hardly used. Out-ranges 95% of the guns at my site, really don't want to see it go'.
  14. Don't try to remove it but don't bother repainting it
  15. Get the g&g, it'll likely come with a half decent warrantee too. We stuff tends to have a 3 month max one because they're lower end guns so you'd be better of with the g&g. They'll both perform roughly the same anyway and the externals are better coloured on the g&g. As Mack said, to my knowledge CYMA have never made a scar so I'd avoid that
  16. Get an ESS Ice set of glasses, they're pretty cheap on eBay
  17. What gas are you using? Mk23 mags are designed to release higher pressure gasses so that could be your issue
  18. It's a real sword so the quality surpasses almost anything else out there. Stick to 7.4 lipos to be on the safe side, but they're very good guns and you won't need anything more in reality anyway
  19. Probably because most people know that the real thing is a good gun and like that, or because they're recognisable, it can't be a practicality thing as they're no more practical than any other. It can't be simply because of their cheapness, reliability, easiness of maintenance or availability of parts because that depends on the brand and is also true for all other popular pistols.
  20. The mp5 is src, the other two are S&T- S&T are the same design as Ares I believe, but not related to them
  21. Holy sh*t, tm are making an AA12
