  1. I found out about airsoft ages ago when I was like 7-8 or something like that when me and my family came across the combat south safe zone whilst walking the dog- still got a few BBs in a tin somewhere that I picked up at the time. The staff at the time told us about the whole thing and how it worked etc, and then I just waited till I was old enough to join in an did so. I managed to talk a few friends into coming and all joined in and I imagine my Dad probably came along too the first time, simple as that lol
  2. If he walked down the road carrying his real rifle every day then it'd make sense. The public are afraid of guns so it's not as nonsensical as it may appear.
  3. I think I probably hate the people who hate people that play call of duty more than the people that hate call of duty players hate call of duty players, if you get me.
  4. I really don't think it's that big a deal to be honest. You can get parts and stuff from all over the place an inconvenience maybe but not the end of the world. Just buy a mag pouch from a retailer that sell g36 mag pouches, it's not like eBay was the only place to do so
  5. No reason to hate it, yes to some extent it spawns players that some people don't like but I don't see a real issue, let people play and do as they want.
  6. It's alright, nothing special but certainly not bad.
  7. Get a tm Vsr or JG bar 10 (a clone copy but has a nicer stock than the original). Easy to fix and upgrade and overall the best option
  8. TM Vsr and upgrade, or the same with a warrior l96.
  9. So, I'm in Cardiff, and would you believe it, it's raining.

but that is why they got the gween gween gwass of home

      Raining down south too btw

  10. Because they're very good at what they do. Much smaller and lighter than another red dot and does the same thing
  11. Clearly it's for a different market to most airsofters.
  12. I'd avoid Absolutely Airsoft, it's run by a known scammer. Had some people move to playing at iron sight because of this too.
  13. I'm in exactly the same boat, considering staying but I've lost pretty much all motivation to do so, I've taken a break from it for a few months and now I'm wondering if I'll actually bother re-starting or not.
  14. Not much different to upgrading anything else, not many other guns have multiple styles of hop unit. You can easily upgrade everything on an mp5 apart from the unit which isn't a huge problem. Even on an m4 platform the vast majority don't bother with changing the unit itself
  15. Yeah we got several copies which is why I'm scratching my head about it lol.
  16. That's kind of my point though, they'd have break the window, at which point the key becomes worthless anyway. If someone wanted to get in theyd have to break the window, by that point having the key is of no benefit to them though as the locks would be changed immediately.
  17. So, we have a glass door into our garden, and at night, obviously it's locked. Now, I keep the keys in the door after locking but everyone else removes them and insists I do the same, which in my opinion is a waste of time. If there was a fire then I wouldn't want to be fiddling around trying to find them, in the door they won't get lost etc. They mention burglaries but it's a glass door, to get in it'd have to be smashed or have the lock picked- which must be much harder with a key in the other side and were anyone to break in we'd have the damn locks changed anyway. No letterbox for them to be fished out through either. I can't see how leaving them in the lock is any worse and if anything is slightly better, or am I missing something?
  18. I just took the rail off and ignored the holes on mine. It means you get a much greater choice if any 1911 holster, you can always replace the frame if needed too, they're quite cheap.
  19. Just to clear one thing up, there is no age limit for owning airsoft guns at all. Under 18s are as entitled to own them as any one of us

True I've gifted a number of these to my son. But still my guns end up in his armoury. I blame the parents

      Good to know.

  20. +1 on MK23, best side arm for a sniper by a long way.
  21. Don't worry, he pm'd me and we're all good
  22. You're a new player, it's not unreasonable to think that you might not know how specific guns work. (And judging by your above post it looks like i'm right- not many shotguns have a function to change the number of rounds fired, it's pretty much just the TM m870, and possibly a couple of others). Calm yourself.
