  1. I have a Scorpion Evo for playing inside a ww2 bunker and it is perfect! Top quality, 3 round burst for close otdoor fun, if required, and 11v ready. The spring takes about 1 minute to change if the fps isn't any good for you.
  2. A Scorpion Evo with 4 mags and a 1300mah lipo. It's firing at 290fps and 19rps out of the box, should be fine while I play indoors over the winter. Absolutely love the build quality and trigger response.
  3. Thank you very much for that - I shall go looking for that allen key socket!
  4. Hi all. Does anyone know if the end of the G&G Firehawk can be removed and a tracer unit installed? Many thanks!
  5. I would find it hard to tell the difference between my Cripps 250 quid hi capa and my 130 quid standard Marui hk45. It sucks, but it's an expensive lesson learnt. To be fair to Cripps he makes no claims about super upgraded pistols being better at skirmish distances.
  6. Hi all. I took the plunge and bought the type 97. It's a fantastic quality gun, probably better than my g36k shock from TM. Just a warning to anyone else, I swapped the spring for an M100 and it's now at 370fps. Hopefully it will settle down or I'll be cutting a coil off I guess.. Thanks for your help.
  7. Hi all, I'm very close to pressing the 'buy' button on a Type 97. I was just wondering if anyone had heard any major horror stories about the gun? I've read and watched every review possible, but nothing beats first hand experience from yourselves. I understand the gearbox is of a very high quality, would I be OK to run a 11v lipo through this gun? Any other comments? Cheers all
  8. Ps look at the eagle6 website to learn what upgrades are available for TM pistols :-)
  9. I have a TM hi capa which has been modified by Mike Cripps including cnc slide and all the usual extras. I love it to bits but for around half the year you will be lucky to empty a mag, let alone lock back. For all the money spent, I would actually say my new standard TM hk45 shoots virtually as well, rate of fire is amazing, gas efficiency is great and I wouldn't want to modify it until something breaks. The only time the hk45 feels 'plasticky' is when you initially rack it, after that you will forget the plastic. If you are after a great skirmish pistol get the hk45 (or utterly brilliant TM Desert Eagle which my left handed friend uses), leave the TM modification game until you can justify a fun toy that's not quite so good on the field half the year. I do have a WE glock which is modified for the full auto thrills, but it comes nowhere close to the hk45 really.
  10. ^^^^ I always thought the superbowl site in Plympton would have made an ecellent cqb site. It has been empty for so long do you think they would take offers? ;-)
  11. Ideal, thank you for that. Any game ideas appreciated :-)
  12. Hi all. I'm looking for some inspiration from you legends when it comes to outdoor night games. I'm talking about 4 hours or so of gameplay at a site that has roughly alternate floodlit and pitch black areas. I'm. Thinking about an ambush and patrol scenario, or maybe an attack the floodlit base from the darkness game. Any good ones you have played? Also, the logistics escape me a bit. Is single shot only good to minimise close range accidents in the dark? Should teams wear glowsticks for id? Or do you purely rely on torches to make a game work out? cheers all!
  13. Sorry to go massively off topic but how on earth do you get in contact with south west wargames Mr Cheeseright?? Total google fail on my part but I just see maps and photos, no contact details :-0
  14. Ideal, thanks for your help everyone. It is now working as normal again but with a nice boost to accuracy. I will leave the trigger and cylinder for aspuk to do I think! :-)
