  1. On Guarder frames that screw hole usually has a metal (brass?) insert. So shouldn't be any issues there.
  2. From memory it's the slide stop and chassis, should be about the same diameter as the existing one.
  3. It's only really 27 sites though, much better! 😃
  4. @Sneaky mentioned the CYMA CM.098. It's a good call, you'd ideally want to handle and SR25 style gun first though as they can be too heavy for some to run for a long time. I remember watching this video and being impressed with what it could do, near stock.
  5. But the chances are if you're "new to the sport", you're not going to be able to make your gun better by opening it up.
  6. Running a DMR much like a Bolt Action isn't cheap. I love mine but it was a £325 gun (which has since gone up in price), that I sent to Negative Airsoft and paid him about another £300 to make it top notch. Heavyweight BB prices will make your eyes water too. Sure it's fun to justify a scope but I still get hit as much as I would running a regular rifle. Who actually uses a pistol full-auto? (I mean apart from Novritsch). At the only distance I've ever tried to get some serious use out of mine, it'd be frowned upon and possibly even against the rules to shoot full-auto. Plus you need to consider mag capacity, cooldown issues (especially on metal slide guns) and the fact that accuracy tends to go to crap too. Despite the plastic, TM's don't break easier than others. In fact it's far more common to find bits missing or not working on other brands. Their QC is second to none. I'm not trying to put you off, just manage your expectations.
  7. Don't you have to first renew adverts to edit them? I guess that'd be fine for anything current, just not the old stuff.
  8. This advert is COMPLETED!

Unskirmished and only owned since 30/06/22. Stored in its box, which sits in a cupboard since then. However with this kind of item minor marks may always be present from light use. With the very well done stainless finish and hogue style grips, I think this is a fantastic looking pistol. However, please note that it's the older design with a fixed hop and no decocker. I intentionally purchased this version because as far as I'm aware, you cannot get Guarder metal kits for the newer one. I've only used it on Nuprol 1.0 as I intended to just keep it as a pretty pistol I only took out to look out every now and then. I will include an additional mag (total of 2 mags) and it will be sent in its original box (pictured). Please ask any questions via PM, as I do not get notifications for anything asked on the ad. Stated price includes PayPal fees and tracked courier.

  9. I've just ordered my fourth of these GBBP piston heads from AliExpress. I was having a few issues with the stock rubber ones causing the nozzle to stick. Especially at £5-6 each, I'm impressed so far!
  10. When I first started, everyone kept saying 350fps was the limit. It wasn't entirely clear that was on 0.20's. So I did think perhaps I could use 0.25's as long as they were below 350fps. I did of course ask the question and was promptly corrected. I still hear people being confused about it. On a similar subject, I saw a particular sites rules stated that if bolties are to used by someone <18, the limit was 400fps, over 18 was 500fps...and that all guns must be measured on 0.20g's!
  11. Haven't you heard? Everyone is just turning their hops right up or using half dead batteries now if it's over.
  12. Has anyone been to Ace Combat Airsoft in Tunbridge Wells? Worth a visit?

If Ace Combat was the only site within travelling distance of me, i would either give up airsoft or move.

  13. Do you mean the hole which accommodates the screw through the top of the hammer assembly? In a sense, this is actually a weak point on Glock frames. However I've only had an issue with a Co2 VFC Glock 17. I really can't see it being a problem when you're only using a plastic slide an 144a gas.
  14. Being somewhat limited in ammo capacity does make you pick your shots, which adds something to the game. I just found myself wishing everyone else was doing it! However that said, I don't think it makes sense to say 30 rounds is "realistic" 1) BB's are of course nowhere near as accurate (or travel as far etc) as real steel rounds. 2) In most real firefights, you're not shooting at anywhere near the amount of targets or so close.
  15. Does seem strange to have a 300fps limit on pistols. Was it that one kid at chrono saying that or is it officially stated? However I would say rules are rules. Let's not let any of this "I'll use a half-empty bulb for chrono, I'll put my hop right up then drop it down" mentality creep in. I'm hearing it more and more recently.
  16. It's better to do it that way around than spend £1000 on a gun and £5 on eyepro.
  17. Looks are always going to be subjective but as a rule you'd struggle to find better performing pistols (in airsoft), than Hi-Capa's. On the rare occasion most people need to use their sidearm, they don't take a moment to appreciate it's beauty. It's the whole "I like TM's but would never buy one as they have plastic slides" stance - personally I'd rather know it's less likely to crap-out when I need it. ....but yeah, as it stands the colour is waaayyy off.
  18. It's the same gun, so certainly should. KJW make both versions, regardless of which acronym is on the box.
  19. It was only the other week I saw a video of Taran Butler showing off their latest 2011 offering. So AA haven't wasted any time in putting together this "testing sample" I guess once you have the basic plans for a Hi-Capa, you can make the relevant aesthetic changes fairly quickly. I picked up an AA STI Executive (be wary when Googling that!) recently. The finish leaves something to be desired but completely stock it shoots consistently around 320fps on a 0.20g and will hop a 0.25g. It's also snappy, wobble free and seemingly has decent gas efficiency. So I would definitely pick up one of these over Raven, Vorsk or even a WE.
  20. Did somebody accidentally include a dick in an ad again?
  21. I was always dismissive when I heard people talking about using heavy ammo in their pistols but these videos using my stock TM V10 prove they are right! 0.55J on a 0.20g 0.70J with a 0.43g That's just science, sorry Bros! IMO shops should only sell 0.43's moving forward. VID_20220722100128.mp4 VID_20220722100529.mp4
