  1. I do but yet to skirmish it. My experience is that they don't take WE/TM style mags. The mags and internals are VFC. I'm really in two minds about this RIF. On one hand I really like the shape and texture of the frame but it's made from fairly thin plastic, which flexes. The magwell definitely improves grip and reloads but it wobbles. The tuneable flat trigger allows you to rapidly follow-up on shots but the initial break is stiff (as seems to be the case with VFC Glocks). Gas efficiency and cool weather performance are above average IMO. I have managed to get lock backs after four mags worth of BB's on a single charge of gas. Overall I'm happy with it but I've got quite a few other pistols and tend to favour my TM Gold Match if I know it's actually going to get some use (ie CQB). However Glockwise, I wouldn't recommend this to a friend, over one of TM's offerings (which will take your WE mags). Especially when you consider range of aftermarket parts available for each.
  2. @Rogerborg Apologies for the amateurness of recording a TV but this scene, seemed topical.... VID_20220304_132659_02.mp4
  3. Actually speaking of MED's too..... I really want to see what happens if you run up to a sniper/DMR player who doesn't have a sidearm. I like to think they'd start frantically backpedalling, trying to get 30M away but it's airsoft, so they'd probably shoot you regardless.
  4. >Insert "show me where they touched you" meme here<
  5. @Impulse - Pistol Calibre DMR's!?...haha, shhh let's not give anyone ideas. But yeah, the more I get sprayed through a bush by someone who definitely couldn't see me and was just shooting in a general direction, the more I go off drum mags.
  6. I run a G&G MBR556 as a DMR. I'm not going to die on this hill as don't have enough knowledge of "real world situations" (although as an airsofter I have to shoehorn in that I have shot RS in 7.62 and .308) but my understanding is that DMR's are often chambered in the same calibre as the main squad rife, just tuned for long range precision. As such modern DMR's are also found in 5.56 I will add that I have electronic "sniper delay" setup and only use 90 round mags. Combine that with some sites requiring as low as 400fps for their DMR players, I don't see how people could take issue with what I do, just because I don't have a SR25 style stock on my RIF.
  7. You had a sniper rifle that shot under 350fps but you wanted to "fix it", by which I assume you meant make it shoot closer to 500. Now you're asking for recommendations for sniper rifles that shoot below 350fps.
  8. If that "spare body" could talk..the horrors it's seen.
  9. Although it is a somewhat confusing question, considering earlier this year the OP asked: Posted February 13 New to the site, I did get a Ares Amoeba AS-02 Knee Capper Striker Sniper Rifle last year, and I'm finding that it comes in at 320 fps, is this normal? and if not how do I fix it?
  10. If you're looking to use your AEG with no MED by not exceeding 1.14J/350 on a 0.20 then just don't switch to full-auto. Unless you're specifically referring to a bolt action rifle? In which case you'll want to first speak to the site/s you intend to play at. Some I've been to don't let bolt action rifles engage at less than thirty metres, no matter how low powered they are.
  11. When it's 30c and the Ladsofter rocks up with a Co2 Das Wesson Revolver....

  12. I do follow advice sometimes....
  13. Lancer Tactical!? I thought they only existed in American YouTubers mystery boxes!
  14. Nearly binned off Airsoft after my detached retina. Now thinking about where I should play for the third time in a row, this weekend ?

      Cheers @Shamal.

Fortunately as the retina is at the back of your eye, the only real chance (or at least I hope) or something happening is if I hit by head massively hard....and no one wants that!

Just stay away from bungy jumping ?

      Enjoy your game ?

  15. The TM G19 has a pretty weak hop arm too. My go to bucking for pistols is a 50 degree flamingo.
  16. Had you not heard that before? I have on at least several occasions. Mostly from, errmmm....let's just say the type of people who will move on their guns by uploading a single dark and/or blurry pic of it on their duvet (bonus point for feet also being featured).
  17. Heard while I was queuing for chrono recently: Airsofter 1: You not chronoed yet? Airsofter 2: I tried but it was too hot, so I'm using a different battery. Airsofter 1: Nah, your best bet is to turn your hop all the way up but just remember to dial it back after. That was my first game back after my eye issues too, made me question if it was worth associating with these muppets!
  18. You're right, I get that most pistols are naturally below 350 but stick red gas inside one of those "John Wick" Hi-Capa's on a 25C day and I'd be very surprised if you're not talking the same kinda power too.
  19. Maybe pick-up just the arm and an I key. Possible a new hop rubber too. You don't want to buy a tightbore barrel and increase past 310, then not be able to use it.
  20. So why worry? The very max on a 0.28g is 295fps and you wouldn't even want to go that far due to variance in site chrono's.
  21. Have you disassembled the unit, cleaned the barrel and wiped any excess grease off the bucking? The standard setup should be fine to hop 0.20's 30M or so. If still no success, change just the rubber first.
  22. Have some schools broken up for Summer already?
  23. @alxndrhll - That's this forums version of an intervention. Solid advice though, cheers. @C-Diddy - I had thought about doing it that way. You're right that at £55 a mag, having a 35 round one included, rather than 20 (which may be a step too far on the challenge scale), does make a difference. Think I'll give the idea some breathing room and see how I feel in a while. Plenty of house and car stuff I need to outlay atm anyway. Plus my next game is at South coast CQB and that's definitely one for the MP7!
  24. You still enjoying the MWS though?
  25. I quite like the modern AR look, even though it's nothing out of the ordinary. Being heavy would certainly put me off, so I guess I should go and check them out in person. I would have thought for your purposes, a GBBR would be great fun?
