The range on after market/upgrade parts for bolt actions is (almost) limitless. So as to the body, use what you like the (external) look of, and if you are stripping almost everything- going cheap (shouldn't) harm the build itself. As to parts, looking around will get you best deal, but fewer or single store will keep postage down. There is a "where to buy" thread which is really useful. I know that is all quite general, but hope it helps

Once again this forum and its members make my poor offerings to Mack's look reasonable! Fuck me sideways -
With a couple* of notable exceptions but I'll agree it does shrink the perspective customer base *Very few, Geartech/(Chris?) Being the only one I could actually name....

Well fuck, this make my offering look positively bargain by comparison; merely a "little UK stock take it or leave it" Rather than ....what ever this is. -

Definitely questions raised isn't it. Maybe they have been bitten by a someone on the other end where the Sellar hasnt taken the neseccary precautions. Surely that just means taking those protection, get proof of delivery, make sure its signed for. Nah the more I try and justify it the louder it shouts 'fuck pew and I don't want repercussions' -

This is a bold statement, what is the direct comparison to sites like Red1 cheselhurst? -
I made the move from hi- to mid-caps a good while ago and I do not miss the battle rattle. That being said, there are times where I wish I had lmg size mags... If you do make the move to mids, remember that you may/will still need a speed loader for those longer games with heavy action. The speed loader will still rattle a touch.

Thing is with this one, other than the quality of "journalism" as it's the standard, is that they go to film school, and the article says some of them were suspended. For making a film. In film school. Sure there needed to be a ton of research and permissions sought but....

They have a new head marshal and it seems that this is a paid position...they have added some props and yes the games did need a little tweaking (new marshal and ambiguous rules will do that). Not a bad day.

The cut is supposed to be there, it is where it joins to the hop unit. As for the the flat part of I would think that in inside is round and on an issue. Maybe aids with the housing of the inner barrel?

I have this BB catcher, use it as target in the house. You do get the occasional split one pop out the top but generally contains the spent BBS. Just be careful when you pick it up that you don't empty it all over the floor ...I have heard that can happen ...sometimes....to someone

Damn, I have now been in this forum long enough to see this argument again. Didn't the last time this come up the instant access was seen as a good thing so as not to limit user interaction with the forum .... Although getting the humourous "new, I am not a shop" from avenger every week limit my interaction with the classifieds. -

My thoughts at Red1 for hit taking: 'did that get through the under growth?... Maybe not, I'll send two this time' Distent shout of 'hit!' Me: Uh must have hit a leaf/twig/Nat's wing -
Wrong side of the river! Although I am going to make Red1 my semi regular site...... Getting to driver wood is very much 'take advantage of the camping' kinda shooting day.

The 'How Did Your Airsoft Day Go? Thread

Spent the day at Red1 Cheselhurst today. First time out this year. What a great start for the year. Looks like the chill and clouds and small drizzle kept the hoards away only about 40 of us. Excellent numbers for this site. There was a large group of rentals, about 10 or so, marshals from the off went over and told them they were being split so they could shoot each other. Another excellent piece of marshaling in my opinion as it gave balance to the smaller teams. Hit taking great (over all - there were comments from the rentals that the rentals were not taking all hits) overall. Red1 have a shinny piece of kit - a bomb set up with multi function. They used this on a number of games which worked well. Only gripe about the site and how the day was was run was that the game briefs were lacking in some detail, with marshal distracted having to stop himself to stop other people talking during them. Mentioned this to the head (I think) marshal and he was already thinking ahead on how to fix the issue for next time round. Airsofters, being airsofters they were not the quickest getting out of the safezone for games despite the Red1 staff being vocal and trying to conjoule the players out quickly It might be 90mins by public transport but so far it has 2/2 good shooting days
