  1. What kinda defence would you accept? There is always the very thorough threads in the 'law' section that imply that whilst I have never been on the ukara register, I do have a valid defence.... Absolutely not. That would make this site an even greater clique than it currently is (and yes I understand that is the nature of forums), and how many of the regular posters would that exclude? I personally spent a week or so as a guest, reading like crazy whilst deciding to sink money and time into the hobby, when I did start posting, there was a lot of repeating a couple of posts above, again the nature of forums. As to the ghosting of buying/selling here.... I have found Comms are much better from active users.
  2. I mean, sure if you don't want to use rental or touch things that other people has breathed over.... Get a decent £200 what ever and play your games but as they say a fool and their money
  3. Yeah, except these are made en mass rather than some idiot trying to make a buck from his shed (this is in no way a defence of that particular individual). Some of them would work as the base for a Mando cosplay (where no BBS are involved)
  4. I used to study with the Open uni so every term start there would be a slew of posts about Hermies/evri....it is not my carrier of choice....for anything!
  5. Soldier 95 for me, although I do have a little of the 70's stuff around that I swear by
  6. If you have them near by. Also having a great day is absolutely a reason to keep going back to the same site....
  7. This one I feel in my bones. Especially as weekenders are a thing I do.... There are a number of things that, as I looked around the hobby (after first rental) that I do know instead of getting deep in, so here is a short list. 1. Budget Airsofting is possible and enjoyable, patience is the key 2. Good boots are simply a must as part of the setup cost 3. Most people forget mags and batteries (and charger) when considering cost of starting 4. I hike so a back bladder was part of my start up costs - nothing ruins a last game as much as not being hydrated
  8. That's not the whole issue with this one though. It's £50 off new for a working one...this has had a spring change with no mention of the power was over or under. Also 340ISH is not the accuracy I would like any crono machine. Sure the box is in good nick and the toy itself looks fine but that spring change means it might not be fitted well....
  9. Adding to the general "this looks really cool" crowd. I like the idea a lot, so much so I now have a new "saving space" in my account. I would like to see the glow in dark standard.... Size is good as well. It is far too easy to lose a "quake" style in a woodland.
  10. No where near as fancy as some of the stuff on this thread, but I have started up cycling pallets and other wooden furniture found in the street. So here is my airsoft storage unit. Yes I am aware my camera sucks but I want shiny stuff that shoots so that is a sacrifice I am (currently) willing to make....
  11. Speaking truths. Now and AK lower/upper +stock with a fancy pants ar style rails..... Nah
  12. I mean the G36 is a "cute" gun, but the specific g&g version....well, that sits well out of my budget for the order of my "to buy" list. If I were to get this platform at some point it would be with all handguards and power options for dmr and the "k" version. For....reasons....
  13. @Egon_247 Red1 woodland is a grand little site. They do sometimes have pyro limits due to a football field next door. Cute little trench system, two decent cqb villages with some longer play areas as well. Not large by any means but that just means you learn the site quickly.
  14. Let's be honest, this will not have had the most thorough R&D phase, most likely marketing had the biggest budget
  15. In other news
  16. Never even considered a SRC anything as it is a poster brand for BBGUNZ4less... It might be a source for externals, but that is what the boneyard is for...
  17. And back to CSW we go, I mean damn that was a great site for many reasons. A great place to start.
  18. So this is a fun toy to use? For all its Brutalist and sci-fi vibes it is on the 'list' Thanks I am one of those really annoying players that sticks to the times given, I'll load up and bomb up at appropriate times, I'll loudly look at my watch (Airsoft days are the only time I wear one) and 'we good for game brief' After lunch is another fun instance, The hearding cats thing, well, I think some of that is the site staff not want to be seen as riding the players HOWEVER, we pay good money to shoot people and I would like more site managers to focus on that.
  19. No worries about that, and yes, from varied sources it helps confirm the quality of crack. At least with this one it shows a few more of the listed items....
  20. Yeah, but it is Bucks, so it must be good crack. No branding on the holosight...
  21. Since delving into this hobby I have learnt 2 things from those that go 1. The social and those you know make the weekend 2. The Airsofting is shit Those people that left the toys in the car all weekend had the best time....
  22. My cheap M4 broke, I am realistic in my budget There were serious considerations for something a little different an ares g14 and ICS g33 were contenders, hell even looked at ak's and both G3's (the long and very short). All had numerous pros, few cons overall - it could have happened - then a bargain M4 showed up on the classifieds....at least it has a skeleton stock that folds.....
