  1. So. I have seen a few photos around, on insta and a few FB posts on what went down. I would like to ask @SSPKali, how did you find it, are these images and reports consistent with what you saw?
  2. there are many great threads on here for those seeking the depths of knowledge required to sling some plastic. This one is well worth looking at. Welcome. Where do you have local to you?
  3. @Crazy_Crystal here you go, second half I believe. In fairness I would absolutely rock that as a dmr just for shits and giggles and for the dilligaf nature.
  4. Erm, what's the deal with the different name in pic than call sign on the forum? And the USA location....
  5. Have a look at @Skullchewer's recent post in "how did your day go" and there is one of these in there. for Filmsim sure, respect that, add to emersion and all that. for a skirmish game/day..... slightly different vibe
  6. I love spring shoties. I'd be well up for that But why? Ok sure it ticks the "fun" box, but range and accuracy are somewhat, lacking. Maybe it's due to mine being an entry level number ...
  7. Wait sites do this? Like, really? Where abouts so I can have a read of the full rules list - I could do with a laugh
  8. A lot of "what's on offer" will depend on whether you have a fixed idea of what you want, platform wise. Long barreled M4/ar15 types are very common (partially due to upgrade options), the G3 is a beautiful platform to build on, the G36k is also worth looking at for dmr duties. I have recently seen a mp5 acting as a dmr.... So it really does depend on what you want. But consider, a nugget of wisdom I garnered from hanging around here, a finely tuned AEG (sub 1.14J) will give you full auto and no med...
  9. Any chance there is a "map" or set of line drawings a new to site could get there hands on before the day? It beats the not having a scooby during game briefs.
  10. Like maybe, occasionally playing south of the bale strip.....
  11. I like that you find Warzone worth the journey! Good site that one. Welcome to the madness
  12. One of the larpsoft groups I'm in has a "tech" that refuses to touch Ares guns. Ever.
  13. Is that so? A couple of us are heading up on May 7th see you there, I'll keep an eye out for the Outcast patch
  14. The above folks are spot on here. Make sure you have enough water, BBS and maybe snacks, some where to put your bombs/smokes/bangs and your good. If you do want to add more 'stuff' - do it for the right reasons 1. It's useful OR 2. It's larp kit. Boots look good, you've taken care of your knees and spent the money where needed (eyepro - and a more thorough review of the goggles would be nice 👍). Don't spend more on kit, when you want to, add that cash to a game day or pyro fund....and get more games in. You will soon realise if you are really missing anything from the kit. Ps is that Red1 Chiselhurst? I have a relatively minimal load out and this still scares me 😂
  15. Think this one just comes down to (very) poor information doesn't it? Or am I missing the 'bolt' for the spring charge? It's similar to another ak ad on there at the moment, £140 odd for a cyma with a few mags - now if it was the high speed version, bargain, let's talk. But the very fact it's not listed as that means it looks like they are just trying to recoup some cash.
  16. Famous last words ... And yes a lot of my kit is 'real', there are definitely waves of quality... The 58' gear I have feels better than the couple of pouches I have from the desert/ mtp era gear. Yeah....I have found the really low view count reviews are more honest with actual use, so a couple of whole game days before commenting. Car boots for those that live outside of the big smoke.... Another excellent source of kit.
  17. What kinda defence would you accept? There is always the very thorough threads in the 'law' section that imply that whilst I have never been on the ukara register, I do have a valid defence.... Absolutely not. That would make this site an even greater clique than it currently is (and yes I understand that is the nature of forums), and how many of the regular posters would that exclude? I personally spent a week or so as a guest, reading like crazy whilst deciding to sink money and time into the hobby, when I did start posting, there was a lot of repeating a couple of posts above, again the nature of forums. As to the ghosting of buying/selling here.... I have found Comms are much better from active users.
  18. I mean, sure if you don't want to use rental or touch things that other people has breathed over.... Get a decent £200 what ever and play your games but as they say a fool and their money
  19. Yeah, except these are made en mass rather than some idiot trying to make a buck from his shed (this is in no way a defence of that particular individual). Some of them would work as the base for a Mando cosplay (where no BBS are involved)
  20. I used to study with the Open uni so every term start there would be a slew of posts about Hermies/evri....it is not my carrier of choice....for anything!
  21. Soldier 95 for me, although I do have a little of the 70's stuff around that I swear by
  22. If you have them near by. Also having a great day is absolutely a reason to keep going back to the same site....
  23. This one I feel in my bones. Especially as weekenders are a thing I do.... There are a number of things that, as I looked around the hobby (after first rental) that I do know instead of getting deep in, so here is a short list. 1. Budget Airsofting is possible and enjoyable, patience is the key 2. Good boots are simply a must as part of the setup cost 3. Most people forget mags and batteries (and charger) when considering cost of starting 4. I hike so a back bladder was part of my start up costs - nothing ruins a last game as much as not being hydrated
