  1. Again, thats the £2 a sack stuff ? I am partial to some black teas which might be quicker than the filter... As to the Picard test, (and this may light up the thread) i'll take my hot drinks advice from 2 better captians from ST.
  2. This might be why i am not making friends at site, i'm a (cheap arse) coffee snob, i bring the grounds and a filter....just use the hot water......... *tuts* free coffee ha!
  3. 4lt on a skirmish day, 2 on the back and 2 in the bag for refill at lunch. I do need to get in to the habit of salts and electrolites replacement. I do drink coffee like a feind though this is mostly due to getting to site early having packed properly the night before and then have little to do except chew the fat, gwak at others kit and drink coffee.
  4. @proffrink hey, as the admin you can perminatly delete comments right? I just feel this comment attacks too many of us ?
  5. Thats not really a though is it. You dont ever settle on 'thats my next purchase' just an endless cycle of 'i'm really going to buy this, but i still really like the look of.....' Or at least thats the way i found it. I have 'almost' settled on next assault style toy and down to *hem* 3 shotguns.....
  6. Yeah, that will do it. I often wondered at the gbbr crowd with their really economical shots and low ammo count. Then i looked up the cost of mags.....
  7. And you only learned this, this year......?
  8. @Cr0-Magnon mine are very similar to yours, well the first two 1) mid-caps are the way forward 2) comfort over (uni)form There was a three when i started but after a long arse day its gone
  9. This site sounds amazing. These sites are very much a play as often as possible while you can. It is the woe of urban cqb sites that the landlord will often use us (or rather game organisers/companies) as a stop gap whilst the sale/ planning goes though. I mean unless it is owned land (like i believe Mayhem, Essex is) then almost all sites are under near threat of 'we sold the land/planning came through'.
  10. Here is the original As @hoggym4 mentions there is no mention of boneyard status. It looks as if working proof was not asked for or provided, which is a shame. @Neil Carter however should be given the chance to respond but hey its Mack's so who knows. I am with @strykerles in that it does look like a tasty bit of kit.
  11. This load out has (the self designated) title 'raider' Kept it simple and cheap(ish) this is for a weekender where 'civvy' is an option, the bag is mostly for food, cook kit and hydration as we are kinda ammo limited. The grab bag is an absolute divine piece of gear, love the capacity and load bearing and as it sits beneath the rest it is pretty stable as well.
  12. Exactly this, with post and during lock down purchases, was thinking there would be a bargain or two but everyone is just 'no, its "new" there is no movement on price' Good luck with that
  13. If you could be bothered to put the energy in, leave it that long and the say 'maybe...' There could be one smile in the response from that
  14. Welcome! Unless you have a pretty good level if fitness you are likely to ache a touch on monday morning. I am told it is a good ache... As to the choice in bb slinger, try and get your hands on them, ideally both in at the same time it can make a difference.
  15. Thats not the funniest thing. A couple of ads further down is this, Looks exactly the same but for £100 instead
  16. Really? Holy bbs Batman! I'll leave that section of the hobby well alone for a while. Still, I saw something like this, a g&p piranha I think for about £170 will performance be that greater? This one sits outside of what I would pay for an aeg let alone side arm and i'll leave it at that.
  17. https://www.usedairsoft.co.uk/rif-s/gas-powered_1/tm-glock-34-build_i26496 More detail than the 416 that was on here but still not sure about the £325 price tag. Pretty sure you are not supposed to snort the tm magic fairy dust, and yet here we are
  18. A minor point on this ad but notice how the drum mag isnt in view at all, just the box...
  19. I went looking for the detail on the 416, just wow. As to the 'i really want this gun and im definitely not 16/got a defence.... Also wow. Now, who is willing to talk to these guys and take a small cut to help fund the meet up later....(joking but damn)
  20. I don't mind FB spying on my ebay activity when it throws up this kind of bargain Mil-tec assault pack and a couple of pouches for a tenner! Ad was a couple of days old and it was reduced from £15
  21. Whats the make you went for? In other news I have a suitable number of midcaps for a morning of skirmishing and one of these ammo grab bags.
  22. "Great for transporting tens of thousands of BB’s!! Simply dip your speed loader into it and your good to go!" For me its this^^ WhyTF would anyone store loose bb's in here? i am all for novel uses but this was a forehead slap when i saw this
  23. Yes I am new ish to the world of tm recoil, it sits out of my normal budget, I like eating and rent is apparently a thing that I shouldn't miss. So this is a tech that can make tm recoils work with upgrades, capture the magic dust as it were, uh, fair enough. An ad for tm fan bois only then.
  24. Nohttps://prefired.co.uk/ads/tm-m4-cqbr-l192a-longsword/ Am I missing something or is this actually worth it? (No it isn't, even with the £109 million win) Sure all the original bits are there sure there are some select parts involved and the work done by (i'm guessing) reputable techs....but! This looks like a high ball expecting lower end offers. Then consider what the person wants to swap for, it a joke right? So many things wrong when you also consider fps
  25. Sorry to hear that, hope you can get out soon. My partner has declared that airsoft is not my hobby. No, according to her my hobby is packing, unpacking and repacking my kit bags. Her attack level was set to stun, it did.
