  1. I sold a KHC Maverick that broke on the guy, refunded and took it back.

A tab has sheared off a complex die cast part.

I think the only way of saving it now is a conversion using a gas Marushin/ACM M500, which looks as if it will fit easily. An m870 would also fit but an m500 would be perfect (considering it's supposed to be a bullpup m500)

There is a Harley dealership near me.

Stage 1 Tune: new airfilter and jet that lets it run rich.

Stage 2: Filter, jet and cheap loud pipes.  Jets are fitted one size does all.  Lottery on 100% correct mixture.

Stage 3: Jets, filter and pipes fitted by an actual mechanic rather than the apprentice/tea boy/work experience lad, who then gets bike Dyno-ed and gas tested.  Hurrah!

A mate makes a decent living tuning them as they have been paid to be tuned.  Those that know their tuners know him.

A wise buyer tests all bikes supplied by them with fresh plugs and chops them...

(Since they are now all EFI this comment only applied pre-2016-ish.  Damn this Alzheimer's...)

There's a fella at work who claims his sportster is 100hp from a stage 3. I think it's total bollocks. Hated the sportster I had briefly with a passion but it was so cheap it needed buying.

My dad has a 1979 Guzzi t3 and it's miles ahead in every way of his 90s dyna that he had before.

So was my california of similar age to the dyna.

Not a harley hater but I don't see the appeal.

@sp00n Your FLAK 10, what did your site owner / marshals / other players think of it?

I ask as in the video that came out last year it looked amazing, like an instantly reloadable 40 Mike you can run around with, and probably something other players will whine over and try to get banned (especially if indoors).

I am also interested. I showed the video to a site manager who hadn't seen it and said it would be inevitable if it starts being used by idiots.

I fancy one myself but I think it may well be overkill.

  4. I like my rare stuff but this one has me beaten.

They were about 100 quid new 11 years ago but rare as hens teeth now, and there isn't another alternative for an RX4.

Just working out a fair price for someone.

I doubt they've got the cult following of a TM uzi but I don't know.

My general point was that if you want an MP40 - you buy the AGM at £100

Dunno about that…. Had one years ago:

gearbox was very “twangy “, trigger was mushy, annoyingly the bolt cover used to flop around letting debris get in.
Took it apart to fiddle with it and ultimately put it in the bin. Very disappointed. Cheap and nasty rif.

To a re enactor the SRC is far superior.

Prices of airsoft guns can have little to do with how well they actually work.

Look at the price of used VP70s, even the Tanio Koba is poor at best, the LS is abysmal.

one was sold on this forum asking price was £110 don't know what it actually went for though

It's the same gun albeit now with a box and the sticker.

I know Steves sold it already and got strong money for it which is good.

Aa doozie of an overpriced SRC MP40.  Crap gun that fails often and  noone has parts for and is also competing against the cheaper and better AGM MP40 which is half the price......if only it were the new GBBR it would have been a really good deal.

He isn't that far off with the pricing on that, mad as it sounds. It's a stamped steel mp40, de acts are welded up overpriced garbage now.

People will pay that for them.

    *Though I agree, they're cack.

Where'd you get the Aimpoint? I have an M14 it would look very at home on.

It isn't an aimpoint, its an ultradot. Still a real steel optic.

Uh, id trade it for something more sci fi looking.

Though I have put an offer in for a Vism SRT thats on eBay which would look nice on the Muzzelite.

There are many I don't own. This being one of them!

The only bullpup that I consider iconic that I don't own is the WA2000. Maybe some day.

The Asahi WA2000s are phenomenal, had a good fondle. Feel properly put together, like an actual firearm.

  9. @Speedbird_666

It's one of those "why haven't I had one sooner" moments.

    I've had (some in multiple)

    Maruzen micro uzi

    KWC mini Uzi

    Western arms Mini Uzi

    KSC TMP

    KSC VZ61

    KWA Mp9

    Escort MP5

    WE MP5K

    WE MP5A3

    GHK G5

    Haephestus/GHK Groza

    TM AKM

    WE XM177

    WE M16A1

    Modify PP2000

    TM MP7

    ASG KC02

And played about with many more.

The ones that stand out above the others are the KC, the PP2000, the G5 and the MP9.

But then I like the KC02 the most all things considered, it's exceptionally easy to dissasemble and maintain, which makes it a great newbie gbbr
