Echo 1 GAT
I've fancied one for a while but wasn't sure about the build quality.
I'm actually very impressed with it.
I refinished the steel, the real ones were parkerised but I like the look of heat and oil finished steel.
Just working on a couple of short mags for it and waiting for the foresight to arrive as it didn't come with the gun.

Also arrived is this ugly thing. JLS RX4. Brand new.
A mate has one of those, had it years. Rare as rocking horse shit but it's actually been a really good gun.

UZI.
I’ve never seen a TM one fielded and it’s such an iconic bad-guy piece (appreciates that it was an Isreali PDW before it was the quintessential action-movie-villain-gun)
There have been a few. JAC, Marushin and Tokyo Marui all made skirmishable Uzis, and Northeast are releasing a GBB one next year. I've imported a few nice TM uzis this year and have got another few imminently arriving so there are a few more around so maybe you'll see one.
I've only ever seen a Galil used once.
My regular site uses g36s as rentals so see them all the time.
Old spec ARs like m16a1s or XM177s, don't see those often at all.

Very interested.
That's a fantastic custom build.

That’s not bad, I’d like to see a better quality print, but I don’t expect he’ll be letting the print file go lol
That's what's going to happen with the stronger stuff. Though tbf, it's not that hard to tidy it up.
I'll get one myself as a test dummy.
Just floated the idea to him to make a few.

We would be looking at £220 for them, printed in a stronger resin. Possibly a little less but that's with a bit of a margin for print failures and shipping ect.

if they allow tri-shot shotguns then maybe you could ask for an exception?
hell i wouldn't object if someone turned up with an actually functional g11
I could ask. I would even be willing to then run at 0.75 joule or something just to take the edge off.

But if I go down that route I would go HPA I think.
I just liked the MK23 idea because it was simple.
Obviously they will require finishing and modelling skills.
I've asked him what a bunch would cost then I can just throw the price out there.

Oh that is soo cool, probably my favourite wacky weapon ❤️
Buy it, or tell me where 😱
I'll sort a link or something out, someone in the states. It disassembles too.
A really good base for a project it seems.

If any gun merited a high speed wanker build its that.
A 3 round silly fast burst would be good, but I play pretty much only cqb or fibua, a mk23 would work well.

Marui uzis
Marui spas 12s with the original stocks
KHC Mavericks, went from being disposable rental guns to being 400 quid plus items
Shoeis, asahis ect just don't lose any money
Tanio Koba VP70s.
MGC P7s.
Acm ppk/s, they fetch a premium over new. As does the LS works VP70.

They've been out of production for years though which is a pity. No sign of them making any more.

Get the wazoo.
or just go big on that one and find an Asahi. The quality difference is big. Worth the price tag. Plus it's semi auto as it should be.
I know you're not too keen on second hand but frankly an Asahi WA2000 is probably going to be in as good a condition as anything made by arse.

Who makes that Uzi?
I would love a useable GBB Uzi. I see Northeast have got one in the works, hopefully it will be a good un.
Tokyo Marui.
It uses a version 5 gearbox, which is unique to the uzi but came out way before the VFC MP7 gearbox which is similar.
Can't upgrade them beyond a custom tightbore barrel.
But they do about 250-260 fps, and if you leave them standard and look after them they're a great unique cqb gun. Also have a touch of felt recoil as the gearbox runs in reverse compared to standard aegs.

Tm spas 12 with steel heat shield taken from a dead sheriff, and stock.
Denix coach gun converted to aps shells.
(Also a denix LeMat revolver converted to airsoft but not I didn't make it)
Star wars inspired M4 build
Experimented with a calico pistol. Got some hate for this on a classic airsoft page (All entirely reversible)
Finally a maruzen m1100 inside a tm spas body with a ktw stock

That's a feature, each one gets a spanner ceremonially dropped into the crankcase as they leave the factory. The dodgy fuelling is done with a special RNG chip in the brainbox these days though, rather than pre-clogged idle jets.
Ah, still 10 years behind Guzzi

I hoped tippmanns m4 would usher in more hpa fed aeg magged blowback guns, like the escorts of old.
But it didn't

Yes. The only difference is the shells, specifically there are small restrictor washers inside them.
However, you've got a hop in them, which you would want to be setting each time for high and low power. Probably best to just leave them as low power.
But if you do want to plink, and must have more power, you can remove the tip of the shells (they just pull off) and the restrictor comes out. You can replace this when you go skirmishing.
Don't be tempted to go to a game with the low power coloured shells with no restrictors fitted, if you do that you deserve the shells to be inserted one by one up your japseye.
