My County Sheriff LEO loadout, just unsure whether to swap the chest panel for a VX plate carrier and awaiting a full length MP5A4 to arrrive.

Carrying a Glock 17 with GTL10 on belt with 2x extra mags and the chest panel has 4x MP5 midcaps with a Glock 27 and 2x extra mags.

Just need to swap the plain brown cap for a King County sheriff one and should be done.

Work in progress, BRT CAR15-SD 300 blk replica.

    This gun encompasses all the best bits of various guns imo;
    Its a sub-gun / PDW - my fave size.
    MP5SD vibes - just love MP5s.
    Retractable stock - again MP5.
    AR controls - ergonomics.
20rd mags - easy to shoot when prone.
300 subsonics - cool as F in real steel.

Latest addition to my arsenal, brought stock from an owner on here and modified over the last week, a TM Saiga 12, added a new front end, cut the barrel down, added a new muzzle, changed to an m4 stock oh and the 1500 round HPA mag.

No worries at all, happy to share my experiences etc. That's what we're here for.

I hate to say it and it's probably more expensive but you may well be safer buying from evike. You'll almost have to pay import taxes but at least you know they declare it properly. Although not sure about the power issue 🤔

    Another 👍 for Entrepôt
I bought a rif from them at the start of the year, good comms
I got a refund for a faulty item in the bundle as well
No issues with customs or charges

JKArmy are in Hong Kong not Japan.

They have a pretty good process for buying RIFs into the UK, even a dedicated field to stick your UKARA

they will declare the package's value correctly so you'll most likely have to pay VAT and a handling charge when it gets here

also what do you plan on buying? might be able to help further

I believe a couple airsoft stores in France have them in stock, along with the BCM mags

I never buy RIFs from Asia because of all the nightmare stories I hear from people about RIFs being seized and destroyed and police visits and stuff. However, I have bought parts from JKArmy and they were reliable and got them posted out pretty fast. Was AAP ruger conversion parts and they arrived quickly and without any issue or difficulties in transit.

Yeah quite a bit of experience with them and other Asian retailers. I did once have a RIF I ordered from JK, seized and destroyed by Border Force. Fortunately I got a full refund through PayPal. Another time (different retailer) Border Force asked the local Police to come and have a word with me about my import (that RIF was also seized).

I have UKARA but that doesn't help if they misdeclare it to be "Toy Parts, $10"

My advice would be only purchase something if it can't be bought over here. Don't do it because you're saving £20 or so. It really is seemingly random, how smoothly the process goes.

    1) In theory you shouldn't need to.
    2) About the same as any of the retailers over there. Quite often the courier tracking information is: We have it - It's Left Origin - Look down idiot, it's on your lap
    3) Ask the magic 8 Ball, it really is a matter of "luck" - In theory you should have to.

I have got to the bottom of what’s occurring and thought I would share so anyone having the same issue might have a chance of setting it right.

So the hop assembly is perfect. Absolutely nothing wrong with it. The bucking itself is in perfect condition with zero wear and everything else is exactly how it should be.

the anomaly I found was on the nozzle guide.
I noticed some abnormal wear along the edge where the hop dial goes over when the BCG is in its forward position. It looks like the nozzle guide plastic is ever so slightly warped towards the front end. There is a slight increment/curve upwards in the plastic which from what I can gather is causing it to catch on the hop dial (there was a slight knick out the dial in the spot I would have my hop set and wear/burs along the edge of the guide). As the dial is click forward to turn off it stands to reason that with every shot fired, as the carrier is returning to its forward position it is catching on the dial and turning it off with a few clicks every shot you take. This all rings true to the symptoms so I believe I have my culprit.

the nozzle guide is very malleable so I have bent it a little, flattening out the curve and I have also shaved a mm of the plastic away along the edge in question incase it rides back up again. Inevitably I will order the AG Nozzle Guide as it’s made of a harder plastic and less likely for this to happen again but in the mean time the temp fix seems to be working as intended.

I hope this information helps people experiencing the same issue now or in the future. From looking around it doesn’t appear to be a common issue so it’s nice to have an actual cause and solution.

Vfc just needs a maple leaf hop ( I use the silicone autobot in my gas rifs) rubber then yer good to go. The stock rubber is too hard.

    Haha my thoughts exactly!

Unconfirmed but seems likely you’ll be able to pick and choose barrel / handguard length seeing as Airsoft artisan already make a large amount of MCX kit.

If you wanna spend money and learn to tech your first purchase should be a second pew, either a backup to be left as-is or a boneyard gun to learn by fixing up.

Either way having a reliable backup gun to pull out when the latest teching experiment fails is infinitely preferable to the walk of shame. Trust me that shit gets old fast.
