  1. if it shoots straight no point worrying what the barrel is meant to be. stock wobble you can try a thin strip of rubber glued under the catch so that when locked it's wedging the stock into the catch.
  2. eh, by the time you worked it all out and did the usual 60% it wasnt far off. such a niche gun i'm surprised it sold at all
  3. Typical government sheeple, do you not realise they can track you down now you've registered it?
  4. i was meaning in general sympathising with folk who want to start up this hobby but can't afford to. of course in this case it's very much taking the mick, especially when his criteria are "a reliable gun that doesn't break", well get a cyma ak then.....
  5. Whilst i sympathise with the guy, there are countless people who want to take up a hobby but cant afford to, why should we help him specifically get his dream gun, especially if he's apparently too proud to run a budget gun? Theres asking for charity and theres taking the piss, this is very much the latter.
  6. *checks code* yep that's £90 off my windowshopping basket......
  7. the ultimate series are pretty decent imo, only problem is any issues in the box and the motor will just keep on chugging whilst ripping apart anything that tries to stop it. £380 for an lct ak with no noteworthy alterations? sure the cyma ak mags are good mags but they aren't exactly expensive either......
  8. tbf marui users aren't the only ones who can deck a gun in shiny and expect it to work better. it's just that the tm recoil platform seems to attract enough of that type of player to make a stereotype. i don't mind it, especially when it makes their guns shoot worse, makes my life much easier
  9. tbf though, it's not like a gun being sold "working" is any guarantee of not finding something horrible going on inside. although if we're being super fair it's not like buying a gun brand new is a guarantee of not finding something horrible going on inside......
  10. which degree rubber are you running and what sort of energy output are you getting? i find the maple leaf 50 degree (green) can lift up to .48g at 1j, so with lighter ammo and higher energy you could look at the 60 degree (tan)
  11. are they blaming a broken bb for issues of uniformity that could damage an aeg? cos if you're putting a bb in that state into your gat you deserve everything you get......
  12. yeah i've heard a lot of similar stuff about the clones with the handles etc. and i must admit the dutch version rolls off the tongue better than the english lol.
  13. i'd give you an expected lifetime for the og m12, but mine hasn't broken yet..... for context i bought mine before the clones hit the market....
  14. in fairness cyma's and jg's have a habit of punching above their price bracket in terms of performance these days. don't take much if anything to make some real good shooters out of em.
  15. this i reckon is the strongest argument for learning to do your own tech work. means you can buy in confidence that you can fix any issues that might arise.
  16. if they forgot to install the nub god knows what else aint right. sure the parts list is impressive, but there's more to getting a gun to shoot well than stuffing a bunch of expensive bits in it and expecting it to work better.
  17. i remember during an extended fallback game where we were doing a hell of a job defending, i'd got myself dug into a position where apparently i was nigh untouchable and after about half an hour i was wishing i'd get hit just so i didn't have to deal with the constant stream of wasps crawling all over me. current problem this time of year seems to be getting covered in blackberry juice when walking through hedges, makes it look like i'm just randomly bleeding all over
  18. Ahh technical curses..... Lct didnt run today, warfet decided it didnt wanna turn the motor (tried it in another gun and ran fine so the warfet is good) Of course lending the jg to a mate and the dragonuv still having consistency issues end up having to borrow a mates bolty with no front sight so i'm basically hip firing all day. And despite all that it was not that bad and i got a lot more kills than i had any right to..... Sadly this is why the argument of not bothering to go for fps stems from, get bang on the limit and stuff like this can happen. Funny really, i doubt they were measuring for joule creep or checking pistols for barrel extensions.......
  19. Its a good thing the aim of this build is to look like its made of a bunch of crap found lying around. Means i can say without guilt that it looks like a bunch of crap you found lying around
  20. A strategy i used to adopt, until i realised that if they won't call one or two patently obvious hits (ie where the usual no feel clause doesnt apply) then sending a load more is just throwing good money after bad. Although maybe thats because the ones i'm used to dealing with can fail to call a 40-mike....
  21. Always saddening when folk cant get their heads around the most simple and basic rule of the game.....
