There’s no ‘What have you just got for ‘nowt’ thread so I will stick it here.
Friend of mine is ex chinook crew, was chatting to him about our Airsoft experience and he says he has some old kit that would fit my son if I wanted it.
Got a flight suit, goretex DPM jacket and trousers, DPM summer shirt and trousers, aircrew issue DPM jacket, desert cam shirt and trousers and a desert smemagh (the only damn thing that fits me).
If he can find it there’s some webbing on the way too, my boy’s a lucky lad.
 

Very true but in today’s litigation powered world unless you do have a fancy piece of paper that says you can do the job then experience ain’t worth crap all , take my job in the nhs day in day out I see newly qualified nurses who haven’t a fecking clue what there doing but they’ve got a degree so they jump up the promotional ladder over older experienced nurses who can run rings around them but as they ‘only’ have a nursing diploma there promotional chances are Zero .😢
PS I’m in neither of these categories as A; I don’t have a degree , B; I don’t have a diploma I have a specialist orthopaedic qualification that has a fixed ceiling on how high I could have gone so I’m out off all the politics , which suites me just fine ! 👍 

For those who've not been recently or at all, here is a video highlighting the main parts of the site, Yes I agree no one wants to hear a sales pitch however so far in 2019 I have not heard it once and I've been quite regularly on sundays... With the number of players saying to the marshal "that guy in multicam with an M4 isn't taking his hits" won't get the issue dealt with. 
 

Actually mate totally agree with you , if your going to post up a picture of your pride&joy or something for the forum to critic then least you can do is NOT have a cluttered background .
Nothing as off putting as trying to look at a pic of someone’s ultimate spath cannon of doom and all you can see is his granny’s 16inch pink double end’er in the background ! 😳

Used to be a time when shop techs could attend manufacturers courses, although I think they were nothing more than one day affairs, in order that shops could claim manufacturer validation.
being the cynical old bugger I am, I generally judge people by the quality of their work, not by the bits of paper on their walls, & I think this is true in most jobs, we've all had work colleagues who on paper match our own skill sets, but in reality do inferior (or superior😏) work, so called airsoft techs are no different, hence the need for a thread naming (or shaming) those out there.
a register sounds too official, & may give validation to those who don't deserve it ?

Problem with an Airsoft tech qualification is who sets the the standard AND who’s going to pay for it ?
Pretty much every sport that has any standards set for support staff has big money behind it or has set standards that have been around for ages and are ‘set in stone’
Airsoft ? We can’t even standardise the game ! 😂😂

You dug this hole for yourself, this isn’t me having a go, this is me giving you constructive criticism so you can learn from your mistakes.
 
I also disagree with your Professional statement, I get the definition is what you say it is, but you shouldn’t have used it in this Ad. It implies that you’re a shop that has built this as a one off. Just be honest and say you built it to “xyz” standard
 
Surely you can see/understand why you’ve been given shtick over this ad? It does come across as a bit intense.
