Russia hasn't been considered Communist, nor has it been run by Communists since the fall of the union. It has been passed off as a weak Parliamentary Democracy but is actually controlled by an Authoritarian Conservative Capitalist Dictatorship. 

I am unsure why on earth people still think Russia is run by a Communist or Communist party. The SU was certainly Communistic Totalitarianism at it's core. 

Like many political stances and parties with "Labels" such as Conservative, Democratic, Socialist, Communist, Capitalist. Their actions generally have very little to do with their label beyond lip service.

Retailers don't create the law and are certainly not above the law.

Just because they regularly flout the law, doesn't make it right. Only takes one noticeable incident to screw it up for everyone.

This question gets asked alot. Many people ignore the advice given and go ahead and buy the cheap kit. You would need to flood the area with IR for any cheap night vision kit to work, which basically makes you a massive target for anyone else using night vision.
 
Even with a flood of IR you still probably couldn't see anyone anyway due to the terrible resolution and fish eye lensing.
 
Most people who go the cheap route end up selling their night vision equipment at a massive loss after the first attempt at using it in game. Save your money and buy something else with it, or keep saving, you need to spend at least 1k+ to make it worth your while.
 
So to reiterate, you are very very unlikely to have a good experience with anything less then Gen2 equipment. With cheap kit you make yourself a massive target at distance and you still wouldn't be able to see anything substantial beyond a few meters.

Most sites have a rule saying you cant shoot through something smaller then an A4 sheet of paper. Also many sites don't allow people to shoot with guns over their head.
 
The thing is you're bringing up points that really have no bearing on this specific situation and only replying with a bit of "Whataboutery?". 
 
Some people say Airsoft is either supposed to be playing it as it's own sport and not following any traditional ideas of how a rifle would be used in real life, OR going full milsim and only playing with low caps. The right thing for me is somewhere around the middle, making play immersive but fun for the majority at the same time. 
 
I would hazard a guess that what the guy was doing in my scenario may not be against the rules of some sites, but is not the norm and is certainly going against the spirit of the game. 
 
I would like to think most people would agree with me. But I couldn't speak for them. 
 
 
 

It has only just shipped from Asia. I doubt you can switch off. I will probably just cut the traces to the LEDs that make this happen.

I finally fixed this! 
 
The hop arm was too sharp and it carved out a channel on the plastic wheel adjuster. 
 
I bought a replacement Maple Leaf wheel, but the channel is too wide to bring the arm down to hop enough. 
 
I purchased a new replacement stock TM M9 arm and two new wheels, lubed them up and installed. I am now hopping .28's easily. I may need to do some adjustment to the arm to get it firing completely straight, but otherwise all looks good!
