Mad-Al got a reaction from Rogerborg in MP7 Holstered?..
I run an mp7 as a secondary for my dmr and use a single point sling and weapons catch to keep it in place
It's not a rapid solution to deploy but its solid enough and out the way and allows me to change roles in the field, if you get rushed and need to switch quickly then this is not the solution for you but if you need to be able to switch to engage within MED for village clearance etc it works very well.
Mine actually sits extra proud as i have it mounted to a safakiland qls so i can leave it behind if im running a battle rifle

Mad-Al got a reaction from Halo in MP7 Holstered?..
Nope, to my surprise the weapons catch actually holds it very firmly and just heigher than the centre point of the weapon.
I would say it flaps about as much as a moderately discruntled whale.

Does it not flap about like an absolutely terrified salmon?

A few small spends for the hk53
M110 spring as the fps is looooow (thanks to ak2m4 for the fastest turnaround ive ever experienced).
The usual maple leaf bits for added consistency.
A genuine HK 3 point sling just to give it "the look"
I cannot wait to field this thing

A bit of a tm binge for me:
NGRS URGI
PTS EPM X6
Magpul M Lok handstop
TM Detonics .45
I must admit i fall into the finding NGRS "recoil" gimmicky faction but i cannot deny its out of the box performance!
The two things that i am surprised/disappointed by are the lack of guiselle markings on the rail system and the lack of resistance on the bolt release.
The Detonics is actually surprisingly good for the first few shots given its diminutive barrel length but after the first 5/6 rounds that quickly drops off due to the tiny magazines miniscule gas capacity but its good fun none the less and lets face it this isnt a RIF that you purchase for its effectiveness in a skirmish.
These are my first modern TM purchases and i must say I'm impressed, they perform excellently out of the box and feel great in the hand.
The plastics are excellent and nothing like the cheap rattly plastics of old.

Mad-Al got a reaction from Rogerborg in Helmet Cam For Personal Use, Does It Make Me A Nobber?
Its worth noting that players haven't given you consent to be filmed so if its for personal use like watching back with your mates and some beers it's not likely to be an issue however some people (myself included) will get narky if they find there face in a video online without giving prior consent.
If people are geared up its usually okay as people are hard to recognise with full face pro but just be mindful that some people are less comfortable with having there likeness plastered on the Internet than others.
Other than that this is an activity we all do for enjoyment so if this increases your enjoyment then thats all that matters!
And hey if you enjoy or want to learn editing then thats even better so why not chuck it on YouTube or wherever so you can enjoy and document your own work and track your growth as an editor, just dont be a dick and spam everyone with links to it willy nilly.

Mad-Al reacted to Adolf Hamster in First night game
one thing i did forget- if you don't normally wear a helmet, a night game is a good time to do so, at least something on your head lest you accidentally walk into tree branches etc that you'd normally easily see in daytime.

Airtac cap firing grenade, i want a bfg but need to be sure I'll actually use it before i make that investment so this seemed a reasonable stop-gap.
Also i forgot to post this one, WAS universal holster that i have "persuaded" to work with the safariland QLS

Not quite as exciting or intricate as a lot of the guns on here but its my first RIF and given its just a Cyma im really happy with it (sorry photography is not my strong point):
Cyma CM002
PTS ergonomic grip
Magpul front grip
XTM rail covers
Magpul STR stock
Vortex strikefire 2
Cheapy rail QD sling point
Nato 3 point sling
Nuprol N mag
The only internal upgrades are:
Deans connectors
Maple leaf macron bucking
Maple leaf omega nub

First attempt at kryptek, im pretty happy with it given it was my first time using stencils and only my second time using spray paint.
I will put the internals back in it eventually, i just need my hex wrench set to hurry up and ship!
