  1. The quietest pistol you'll ever have.

  2. It's worse. Even heavier than the mk23 and double action only

  3. Oh, is this for garden use rather than skirmishing? The ASG Ruger is quiet, can be had for under £50, but comes in at 1.3J. You can verrrry carefully file down the hammer to reduce that if you want to skirmish it. If this is purely for slinging BBs at short ranges, you could also consider an AEP. Any of the CYMA AEPs will make more noise from the motor than the pop from the tiny cylinder.

  4. I've not been in about a year or so, but yeah it's pretty much been like that when I've been. Every time I've played there, bar one, has always been in the first paintball-style section closest to the safe zone. Only once have I ever managed to play in the pines section (and this goes for the last three owners of the site prior to the current lot). When I say HPA & drum mags, I don't mean that they're anything particularly bad or malicious with it, just that there seems to be higher percentage than one would expect (TBF, this seems to be common among most of the sites in the North east; and a large reason why I don't really bother attending any local sites anymore). Games always seemed to be focused on short, fast scenarios where simply putting down rounds and hosing has been the name of the game; followed by everyone returning to the safe zone after every one only to come back out and do it again. I've got nothing against the guys that run it, they've been absolutely fine on a personal level, it's just not been the type of gameplay that interests me, which is why I didn't want to name them; (besides some rather daft pricing for ex hire guns, they've not really done anything wrong, it's just not my flavour of Airsoft). I've been doing this hobby for nearly 30 years, and You could even say Airsoft as a whole has been going this way in the past few years; which means I'm having to travel further and further afield to find somewhere that interests me. All of the local sites are pretty much the same, so it's not confined just them.

  5. All non blow back pistols are quieter than GBB ones due to less moving parts. The mk23 just gets mentioned the most as they're the most easily available. Also being able to take a suppressor allows them to be even quieter. Is there a specific model you're interested in?

  8. And/or the cylinder head O ring(s) and the seal of the nozzle to the air tube.

  9. For the sake of clarity, can you confirm which gun you are talking about? Are you talking about the TM 416 DEVGRU NGRS or another RIF that has DEVGRU in its name? One troubleshooting tip is checking the compression in your cylinder - if you put your thumb over the nozzle while pressing the piston into the cylinder, a sign of good compression is that you will eventually get resistance against pushing the piston. If you get no resistance and you piston goes all the way down despite your thumb being in place over the nozzle, you've likely got a compromised seal, which would explain why your muzzle energy is much lower than expected with an M100 spring. Your piston head and/or its O-rings may be the culprit is your compression is poor.

  11. The ICS PM2 makarov is as quiet as the MK23. The only downside is that it doesn't have the after market support. The MK23 can be made to out perform everything. The PM2 scores very much on style and is a lot smaller. It takes a CO2 bulb but will chrono no problem. It has a very heavy trigger if you want to rapid fire it so it's better to cock the hammer with your thumb. If it had the same after market support as the MK23 it would probably be the go-to sniper backup but that doesn't look like it's going to happen. Still if you want something smaller than the MK23 and just as quiet, but don't need it to perform circumcisions at 70 meters it's an option. I like mine. I did buy the larger suppressor for it. And the magazines are little sticks that are very easy to store.

    Devgru spring change

You don't want to beat 300 on 0.28s. The 1.14J limit will be approximately 295fps. Rather than opening the gearbox and swapping the spring, you'll probably be better off ensuring you have a good air seal, as well as bucking & barrel which should get you to what you want.

  15. The Makarov isn't that quiet. It has quite a loud pop from the CO2. Quietest is the TM MK 23 with silencer attached. Used to run around Copehill at night and my giggling as I shot people was louder than the pistol. If you fancy branching into small form factor rifles instead of pistols, I reckon you could make a TM VSR 1 pretty quiet.

  18. The problem is the test they use for 'indistinguishable' and 'similar appearance' is a varient of the 'man on the street' test. So basically anything approximately gun shaped and black/grey would qualify. It's an awfully written piece of legislation. And as for fitting in I'm hurt you forgot about me from ArniesAirsoft lol. I'm still vaguely around just very ill. Oh yeah I get what they are doing in real terms but... It does appear to be a truly cynical attempt at fulfilling letter of the law whilst providing something that's not fit for purpose/utter bollocks.

  21. Have you considered revolvers like the Dan Wesson 715 and th orange of Smith & Wessons from Umarex. Western Arms used to do some 1911 NBB which can still be found second hand occasionally, they are really Seecamp Double Action Converted 1911's. There is also th excellent Tokyo MArui Range of NBB 1911 amongst others.

  22. The range of nbb pistols is definitely a fraction of the size of the gbb market, I guess most people prefer blow back despite the disadvantages (and I'm certainly one of them). I don't think there are any nbb 1911s available but there is a Makarov https://www.actionhobbies.co.uk/products/kwc-co2-makarov-airsoft-pistol-nbb/ I've no idea what they're like though. I've never owned one as they're way too overpowered for skirmishing at over 1.5j but if you only want it for plinking that isn't an issue

  23. The split slide versions of Hi Capa's might be an option if you're set on 1911 ish designs. Less moving mass, so inherently quieter.

  29. I can't see any logical reason why it wouldn't work - the two factors for the ability for the mag to fit would seem to be the catch (same for both, as evidenced by the ability of the 19 to take 17 mags) and the positioning of the magwell. I'm not sure what the benefit would be unless you have a surplus of 19 mags. Kind of creating a reverse 19X.

Time Left: 1 day and 14 hours

    • As new

Selling my M4 Marui MWS as l got myself an Hk416. I wish to sell it as a package, but, if you don't need some accessories, deduct the prices below. Base gun was a Cqb M4, bought new and used it at 4-5 games. The original front barrel set is included and all the others bits. It is locked to semi as it shoots about 400 fps, and being a gbbr, l want to use it semi only wisely and get the maximum range from the setup. - Steel outer barrel, good weight on it to replicate a RS one. - Surefire Warden silencer ( it is the model without the flashider) (£15) - Maple leaf barrel and Mr. Hop hopup rubber. The barrel is long, goes up the the end of the silencer - Geissele automatics airborne ambidextrous charging handle (£30) - KAC 8 inch handguard - Magpul vertical grip (£10) - Hogue slim rubberised pistol grip (£20) - Sling swivel plate - Geissele trigger guard - Ambidextrous steel mag release (£15) - Ambidextrous steel fire selector - Magpul EPS-C stock with Federal Concepts raiser (£40) The entire trigger box, the sears were fine polished, greased, the trigger reset is real magic now. The trigger box was slimmed down so you can take it out easily now, if needed (but l don't believe it will be ever needed again) Light Z plate installed The bolt is stock except the new nozzle Guns modify ver.3 with steel insert on the bar that takes out the bbs from the mag. Up to here l want £600 one mag included. -Other 5 gas mags (£40 each, l don't sell it separately, only if the rif goes first) -Eotech Exps3 Holy warrior and magnifier (£140) Price for the entire package is....£940, buyer pays postage.
