Can I have a refund as well please? I've been waiting since the 16th June 2023... £6 to receive absolutely nothing never sat well with me, especially as we do like to highlight poor service and scams from retailers, forum members etc. The irony of getting fleeced by the forum seemed, well, ironic... If we ever get this sorted I'm still waiting for a patch from UKAPU as well, last promised in May 2022. There is definitely a theme here...

Well,the S&T no.4 had it's first skirmish yesterday. I'd already swapped the barrel to a slightly shorter and better quality one than the stock brass coloured aluminium (!) barrel it comes with, popped in a silicon Maple Leaf Deception, and upgraded the spring with a heavily cut down L96 M150. Oh, and swapped out the loading plate with a filed to shape alloy L96 AWS plate to stop the original plate retaining c-clip pinging off every 10th shot. It was running at circa 1.3 joules after that, with a decent long range and impressive accuracy. I had an excellent game with it- the paltry six or so 'kills' I had with it each being incredibly satisfying. I would have given myself a high five after each one if that wouldn't have been just too weird (and my screaming biceps had any remaining energy to give). Many admiring comments from the sea of AR users!

In that case we should double down... 16 & a mahoosive chest rig to carry them.

With their history, I'd start a claim or dispute now, don't wait until they go under again, get your money back now, & if they actually crack on building what you originally paid for, nothing to stop you reordering when they can prove they're in stock & ready to be shipped.

Our sport's not exempt from the usual issues with brick & mortar shops unfortunately. I can see it becoming that the only physical shops will be the ones attached to sites that are only open on game days or ones with a big enough online presence that can subsidise the shop.

We're in action at Area 66, getting to play a D-Day style assault on their landing craft map layout! Good communication allows for fire and manouevre to successfully push us forward, pressuring the enemy team and keeping some of their key assets, like an LMG-armed player, suppressed at important moments. Back to our home site at Section 8 where 3 of us seize a critical objective, only to find the rest of our team hasn't got the memo and has left us facing almost the entire enemy team, determined to take it for themselves! Good communication and teamwork sees just the three of us holding out against overwhelming odds for far longer than we had any right to.

It's shitty to be honest ? One thing that shocks me Is does anyone know proffrink personally? Or is it the sad situation of the world of somebody just behind a keyboard, and even more sad taking people's cash fraudulently?

Well, I reckon the patch thread (to buy them) should be edited/deleted so members can no longer try to buy a patch, I'd rather the Admins actually buy patches and allowed us to buy them in good faith as I'll assume (not a good thing) that the cost is less than the price for us to purchase & the difference can go towards paying for the site.

This MAS36 arrived today courtesy of Lofty, When I first saw it advertised I thought it was interesting but only because I'd never seen one before, when I saw it relisted in the classifieds I decided it would look good in my 'retro' collection (it does). after some negotiation with the seller a deal was made. I'd like to thank Lofty as I'm pretty sure he didn't want to part with it. I'm also pretty sure I'll never see another one so I'm glad i have it.

I was actually going to volunteer myself for exactly this the other week... I have a manufacturer I use for Woven Hook & Look Patches that I sell for a client but would be able to find a PVC patch supplier relatively quickly if that was the preferred type. If there's no objection from the Mods and everyone could reach a consensus on patch type and size I'll look into it. The ones I currently do are roughly 50mm x 60mm Woven Hook and Loop Die cut (unique shape) and sell for £5 each or 3 for £10 + £2.80 Royal mail 48 Tracked postage.

Yes and no. Some companies do this, most just release a shit product and when the customers complain they shrug their shoulders and say "meh, got your money now, don't care".
