I don't think they're getting desperate as according to their website just over 2000 players are booked to go, to me this is just laziness on their part. Less guns to chrono means more time for them to stand around doing fuck all

Sorry for the mild necro, Www.co2cartridges.co.uk based in Sheffield do a wide range, you can get a box of 100 non threaded 12g Umarex CO2 cartridges for £32.69 (quick maths makes that 32p a cartridge) which is what I aim for. If you don't like your local postal worker you can get 500 for £147.49 (29p each). Had nothing but good experiences with them and they have my recommendation.

Sam is the only tech I know of who will work on them. To be honest though, it is probably better to just buy a new one.

Cycling a V2 gearbox without securing the spring guide being secured can be disastrous; don't ask me how I know! It can also make a not insignificant difference to the power. It is quite easy to make up a collar that you can use to secure it with the screw.

I see what you mean but as @Rogerborgsaid the buffer tube needs to be attached because the screw that attached it also screws into the spring guide which helps to hold it rigid. So has the gearbox shit itself?

My parcel via UPS for a PKM (downgraded below 1 joule) from gunfire.pl has yet to take flight to the UK, yet. I had received a call and email minutes ago from UPS Customs Clearance with the above mentioned document for private RIF imports. yeah to a point (as others have noted) - as the wider apart you have them, the more the pellet/BB may be slowing down between them. This could be even more pronounced with airsoft BBs - the BC may be very different. Looking at rough size/spacing of common chronographs: At Airsoft speeds (250fps) - its a pretty trivial task on the electronics, you're talking ~500+ microseconds between sensors. 1 microsecond at 1000fps is the difference between 1000fps & 1008fps 1 microsecond at 250fps is about 1/2fps difference Another way of of looking at it is tolerance of assembly/dimensions: @200fps - 0.1mm = 0.2fps @1000fps - 0.1mm = 1.25fps The mounting is probably the most critical - i'm constantly amazed at how much vibrations & slight wobble have on the readings. But this is when I calibrate at 1,000fps - expect something like a 5fps variance if there's bad mounting, thats why I chose muzzle mount.

Finally started work on the box mag for the hk21. Has internals from an ares lmg box which will be wired to a pressure switch. Hpa adaptor goes in through the back as ive drilled and tapped a hole in the back of the mag.

G17 P80/Razorback Wanted to build something really aggressive after my latest kind of plain gen2 glock. This was the result. TM G17 gen3 donorgun. And I kind of dislike rmrs on pistols but somehow it feelt right to put one on this little monster.

Yes I thought about that as well. But a packet of multi coloured cable ties are cheap and if you are that way inclined you will just pick the colour that's in use on the day.☹️
