New shadow foam so that I can fit both rifles into my Peli case, Maple Leaf hop rubber and nub to see how they run in the recoil MK18 .. and I think that’s it actually.

Few upgrades from AK2M4, delivered next day as promised.  Perun and XT 22TPA for the boy's G36.  Another XT 22TPA, plus a ZCI hop unit and ML bucking for my Double Eagle.

Had a few mins spare tonight, so out with the old motor from the Double Eagle...

 

...and in with the new

 

Not a night and day difference over the stock motor, I stupidly didn't do a direct before and after comparison but the trigger response is a bit quicker.   Suspect they are both in the same ballpark windings wise.  Magnets on the stock motor are no match for the new XT though.  Expect it will prove itself when I run it on 3S instead of my current 2S.

I bet it will run cooler on the 11.1v and thats important given how mine went

Here’s hoping. The vented can and mini fan on the commutator should work nicely seeing as the Eagle has that vented motor plate for airflow. 
 

And if it doesn’t I’ll have a nice hand warmer for winter skirmishes.

It's been a long time coming,  But I bought what I consider my holy grail of guns since I first started back in 2016.

 

Daytona AK105 with my WE Desert Eagle,  ran it at my local CQB site,  they may not be what people consider Meta but god damn is it fun firing these two guns

Side note - when I was younger and I got my first credit card, I managed to rack up £27k of credit card debt. You know you have a problem when the letters from the CC company stop being "you've gone a bit over your limit, so we raised it", to "you've gone over your credit limit, GIVE US BACK OUR MONEY!!!!". Mines been great actually. In actual fact, that type of goggle (Pyramex are the OEM) do amazingly well on their own for fogging, but the Novritsch antifog thingy has worked superbly for e.g. CQB, and the magnetic interface between the goggle insert and the tubes works really well.

That's good to hear! I'm an absolute sweat monster, even before I begin, and it seems my son is following suit. 

 

I've used my issued Sawfly, Bolle glasses and goggles and currently use Bloc, all of which fog, so this was a desperate gamble 😂

 

I'm sure you've seen the YouTube vids (especially the Exfog dude getting massively emotional!) highlighting the flimsy case, but my sone will wear his in a pouch on his helmet, and I'm going to botch fit some sort of pouch (tape and cable ties probably) to my boonie. 

 

Appreciate the feedback on the mag connector too, as I was a little dubious.
