  1. So basically I have yet to return to the field, from sorthing out what mags I can actually run in the gun (mainly because of the previous compatibility issues not related to the tech) and just a general lack of money and time due to work and other living expenses, so I have resorted to testing the guns at home on my back garden on the odd occasion I actually get anything new which is rare. I have never taken a gun apart before until I did to replace the air seal nozzle, of which I did a lot of research to make sure I didn't break anything (luckily I didn't). The tech my gun is currently with will be sending pics to me at some point. And the reason I never took my gun apart was because I was always afraid to do that in case I messed something up, I'm not as seasoned with tech stuff as you guys might be, I'm also not as likely to take my stuff to a tech often because I can't afford it, so when I discover it it is almost always too late
  2. Hello & welcome. Never converted anything but I bet if you started a thread detailing what you're up to it'd be followed with interest.
  3. If Instagram is anything to go by it looks like there's plenty of people breaking the law to play army today! 😁 Great job guys! 👍

Basingstoke is a bit of a trek for Liphook?

I've done Portsmouth prison. Sadly no more though. Not been to Dorchester or Gloucester.

      One day though.

Nah its not too bad, I've driven much further for a game day.

I'd highly recommend both the prison sites, mainly due to the fact they are such unique places to play at.

Make sure you bring plenty of pyro though as it can be hard to make progress with out it at times.

Haha yeah it was like that at vendetta.get stacked up in a corridor and only way out was mk5's

  4. It's a difficult one, changes in society haven't helped. For example, 40 years ago every youngster & his mates chased each other around with realistic looking toys & no one on the street gave them a second look, the miltary was treble it's size, & there was literally a waiting list of people wanting to join up, in London almost every borough had a ta Hall, cadet units representing all 3 services (+ plus the marines), surplus stores aplenty, & very little gun crime, essentially lots of things to nurture interests in shooting pastimes & there was no stigma applied to anyone remotely interested in anything "gun shaped". Fast forward, sprogs in nurseries & primary schools are forbidden from even fashioning a pistol from lego, the army is tiny & can't fill it's ranks, a massive proportion of the ta & cadet units have disappeared, a small number of terrible gun sprees have massively impacted all forms of gun ownership, coupled with commonplace gun crime. All of this has changed UK societies mindset on guns & associated pastimes. Needless to say those of us that are hooked have an uphill battle to encourage others to consider joining our ranks, or even turning out once for a "taster" 🤔

Got this second hand a while ago and used it as my first attempt at upgrading a rifle originally built it into a dmr and it shot beautifully but sounded quite loud and a little grindy. I Took it apart and put it back together a few times with different shimming but couldn't get rid of it entirely. Because of that its been gathering dust and hasnt been fired very much at all. I did take it apart again to put in a softer spring and reinstall the selector plate but other than that it hasnt been touched recently Here is what I put in it Zci 6.02 stainless barrel maple leaf rubber zci 1 piece stainless cylinder and cylinder head shs 15 tooth piston and piston head zci v2 high torque motor long type Zci rotary hop unit (The bottom of it has been heavily modified to fit but I havent had any feeding issues since completing the modifications. ) Zci alminium 21.3 nozzle zci advanced internal bearing 13-1 gear set zci tappet plate Gate warfet Has also had a classic army clubfoot stock put on it When I took it apart to put back in the full auto parts I saw no major damage to anything but test firing it after it did still sound noisy though it still shoots great. Comes with 10 king arms plastic midcaps, 1x jg metal high cap 1x tokyo marui psg 1 magazine (I know I have a second somewhere. Ill find it before posting) and a spare front sight assembly as the original has been cut off and rounded over to mimic the psg 1 Price includes paypal fees and postage Would be interested in part trading for a tm gbb akm but otherwise not interested in trades

  6. General rule of thumb - anything Novi branded is just repackaged direct from a chinese factory with a premium for his label on the box. Same as most "genuine" car parts.

  8. That was something I was curious about, if that email address actually worked. There's a bunch of 8fields stuff on TG and a load of midcaps for various guns I have that would be nice to get at some point, but I never put much stock in the whole "email patrol base to get it in for you" after I did the same for a bunch of m700 parts from airsoftzone.com (who also name Patrol Base as a UK retailer who can get stuff from them) and Patrol Base told me "no we can't order anything in, sorry."

Tokyo Marui MK18 NGRS - Fully Upgraded to the max. This thing is an absolute beast and has served me extremely well. It's fully upgraded, to the point you couldn't physically do anything more to it. All upgrades were done by the incredible Graham at Tactical Geordies so I've got plenty of photos and videos of all work that has been done to it. When I bought it, it was in a bit of a sorry state internally thanks to an old tech but I can hands down say it's a completely different rif now thanks to the magic Graham did on it. You can freely look at the photos and videos he has available of it on his Facebook & Instagram pages. It's very accurate and punches bb's out to 70 Meters. You'd be in the realms of competing against snipers and I've picked off a fair few using it. Now I always swore that I'd never sell it (my mates would even give me stick for putting it up for sale), but I've since bought a Mk18 MWS so this has now gone to the cupboard and stayed there. I've got an MP5 NGRS for when I want to switch out to AEG. I've put a photo up of how I've had it set up in the past, please note it'll come without attachments as these have now ended up on my other MK18 however this should give you an idea of how it can look. Will not come with Case but it's the only photo I had where the mags are ok show too. There are some scuffs on it, it's been used so it's expected and although I try to be careful.. it's Airsoft so it's sure to happen. I've pictured the scuffs, scratches etc. I don't have a box for it but I may have something I could send it in should you want it delivered, it's survived all the trips hundreds of miles it's been sent back and fourth to the tech so I'd have faith it'll survive on its way to you. Or come and collect it, up to you. It's not seen a game since the Leviathan was installed but when you plug it in, it'll say it's fired over 1000 shots, this is due to the Tech fully stress testing the rif to make sure it's running perfectly smooth. It saw one game with the Brushless motor fitted but the gate titan that was previously installed didn't agree to well with the motor and kept throwing up errors, hence the switch to the leviathan (even the tech has stopped installing gates due to their reliability issues). If you have any questions, please let me know. Got plenty of videos of it working as it should along with videos etc. It's cost me considerably more than the price you can have it for. Secure payments only on this so we are both protected. Internals: - Mirror polishing. AoE. Radiusing. 0.05mm shimming. 10. I have a complete set of internals for the TM Glock 19 Gen 3. It's a long embarrassing story but I tried to put the TM frame internals into a Guarder frame. I have done this before with Guarder Glock 17 Gen 2 and 4 frames and encountered little or no difficulty. However the Glock 19 frame was anything but a straight fit. When I finally got them in, the slide stuck and I had to hammer it off. I tried again - first removing material from the inside of the frame and trying the slide again - and again and again and again, finally damaging the Guarder frame and breaking the TM slide. In the end I gave up, put the parts in a box and sold the magazine. So what I have now is a complete set of internal parts including bbu, outer and inner barrel, front and rear sights etc - everything except a slide, frame and magazine. I still have the original Marui frame which has a slight mark next to one of the assembly pin holes that you would probably not notice. Now, as I understand it, I can sell the parts without requiring a defence of the buyer, because they are only parts and not a rif. However I am thinking that it might be best not to include the TM frame, in case the authorities regard it as a part too far. I mean if a buyer could get the gun to work, he would only need a slide to have a full pistol. So forget the frame. Can I sell all the parts together to anyone whether they have a defence, or not, or should I sell them in smaller batches? It's no big either way for me but they are no use to me and so I thought somebody else might be able to make use of them for a small sum. If it I recently received a metal hi capa slide from Hong Kong which was delayed in customs. They asked me to complete a customs declaration form for firearms and threatened to charge me for storage. I wrote back to them explaining that I was importing a small metal part (an empty aluminium shell about 15cm long, 2cm wide and weighing about 80 grams) to replace a plastic part on an airsoft pistol already owned and had bought in England and that it was all perfectly legal. Eventually they relented and released the item on payment of 41 quid. This experience has made me a little nervous about what the law is, and just how well the civil servants know it.

No AEG's please

  12. Since the regular MTW is so good, I'm actually hoping that internally they're almost identical. I still won't get the gen1 as soon as this releases though; even with something like an MTW, I'd rather wait and see if any problems arise and then if they do I can get the gen2 where all the problems are fixed And yeah, if other MTWs are anything to go by, these will be pretty expensive. Since I also want to do one with a HPA stock like a Wraith X or something, I reckon the build will easily go over £1000 for what I want to do, so it's good that I have time to put money aside for it
  13. Hi Everyone I need some help recently I borrowed my friend's spence arms m249 para and fell in love with the idea of a support role made for some great defensive games but when I said I might buy one myself he said to get the full size version instead of the para when looking I couldn't see any difference between the two spec wise unless I have missed anything my question really is their actually a difference? other than one being smaller is size any light on the topic is appreciated thank you in advance.
  14. Anything to do with firing mechanism and or pressure baring parts in a real firearm is restricted so i could see making triggers could get you in hot water if the police were looking to boost arrest statistics.
  15. hey guys/gals my current build... im trying to build a "quiet" build so thinking the mushroom build, shs/zci 13:1 gears with a 14 Tooth piston. i currently have a aster fitted and shs high torque motor, iv read that having aluminium piston head/cylinder "having both" puts more stress on the gearbox and tends to help it crack? is this right???? is there anything missing from this build? should i go with the SHS gears so then its all full shs? like i said im trying to make a quiet build, so will also be using a foam filled suppressor, and i know a good shimmed rif will help also. thats not a problem. also have a New m110, and M120 spring. should i need to short stoke?
  16. Tbh I'm finding that I don't carry primers on me as much any more as quite a few cqb sites are putting restrictions on the number of bangs you can use in a game I just saw this in the description Magnetic primer remover lifts the fired primer out of the chamber. Is there iron or steel in there? The ones I've always had are copper so I wouldn't expect a magnet to do anything. Also I just tend to tip the primer holding bit over and let gravity do the work
  17. Hi all, I'm in the process of doing a few upgrades to my TM NGRS CQB-R. I will be fitting a Gate Titan and a couple other bits I've acquired over time which are; Prometheus piston Prometheus piston head Prometheus type D cylinder Prometheus bearing spring guide Lonex 5.9mm metal bushings Was going to fit the original spring back in but could someone confirm whether or not it will work with the Prometheus piston head? I do have a Eagle6 M90 spring if needed. Anyway, I wasn't planning on replacing to gears due to keeping the power modest, but when I took it apart yesterday evening I noticed what looks like a small amount of wear on the sector gears release tooth (pics attached). Is this anything the worry about or is it normal? Should I purchase some upgrades gears while it's open, I would get Lonex gears if I did and can be had for around £50. So would you bother replacing it? It seems to mesh well with the Prometheus piston, but I don't want to be going back inside after a could thousand rounds because the release tooth has s**t itself :) The gun has to now been running stock for about 5K rounds on 7.4v 1450mah 30C lipo's. Thanks
  18. Hello, I love vorsk, I have had a vorsk pistol for a while and its held up well so far. Only a few parts broke which were covered under warrant. Now I want to get one of their glocks. So I am tempted by the red match EU17. https://bbguns4less.co.uk/products/vorsk-eu17-vented-gas-blowback-pistol-in-red-black.html And by the red match EU18. https://www.defconairsoft.co.uk/product/vorsk-eu8-vented-red-match/ I am more swaying to the EU17 but whats with the huge price difference? (EU17 £130 EU18 £90) Is the EU18 made of less quality parts or something? If anything I though the EU18 would be more expensive. Or is it because the EU18 is less desirable? Just need the communities opinion before I make this purchase. Thanks
  19. I've done a search but cant find the answer that I need. I've also searched youtube, which has done nothing to make the issue any clearer. I have a rather lovely cyma Blue Mp5 ( you may have seen it here), using ASG LiPo 7.4v batteries. I've no intention of using anything other than these at the moment. I like it as it is. At the moment. So, as I'm not going to be using 11.1v batteries, do I need to fit a mosfet? Would I gain anything from fitting one? Desperately wanting to fettle but only if it's worth it.
  20. The motor has to follow the same form factor as existing motors and a single case for long and short motors makes sense, at least for the smaller producers. I don't think there's a case for a reversable motor, unless you can think of a reason why you'd want such a thing. Brushless motors can't be very dumb, they need the controller, the large flat chip, to do the sums to make it turn etc. You need additional wiring terminals to do anything via the ETU because 1, the ETU expects to deliver only voltage to the motor terminals, and 2, the motor expects to see voltage only to the motor terminals. You may find the motor controller already brakes the motor to control the back EMF at motor stop. Given the right message the motor can spin any way you want it to but you'd need some sort of interface to achieve it and the controller programming and it needs power.
  21. I've had a few emails from BBGuns, Defcon, Socom Tactical etc about Black Friday. So far I've not seen anything that's tickled my fancy (or my credit card) but 'never say never (again)' - I could do with a batch of Bio BBs (0.28/0.32 and some sniper ammo), and I'm always interested in bargains of a pew-pew variety. And a chest rig... quite fancy a cheap one (Viper VX being most likely) Anyone spotted anything useful or interesting?
  22. (Just my rule of thumb) anything above 28 RPS is at risk of PME so will need short stroking You can calculate your paper ROF and see if it is over 28 e.g. say the 22 TPA is 25000 RPM, at 9.9 V this is 25000 x 9.9/11.1 = ~22300k 22300 / 60 / 18 = ~21 RPS so should be very safe in terms of PME This did not take into account efficiency loss which will make the number smaller

I'm calling this a collectors piece as not only is it stunning and adorned with full Beretta Trademarks, but it's neither been skirmished nor had many rounds through it. It started life as a brand new Gen2 WE M92. Being a Gen2 this has better build quality, working decocker, adjustable hop (with "VSR style bucking) and full-auto capabilities. I then had the trademarks engraved and picked up a lovely set of Altamont "vintage" real wood grips. As per the photo, the original WE grips will come with this, a long with the WE box. Beauty aside, this would make a serviceable sidearm for skirmishing, if you're so inclined. Price includes PayPal fees and tracked postage. Please PM any questions, as I don't get notifications for anything asked on the listing.

  24. I've come across posts (generally not on this forum mind) which indicate that you can get air trapped inside your GBB magazines, and to remedy they advocate purging them. Usually via a process of depressing the knocker valve for a few seconds as you fill them. Is this really a 'thing'? It seems surprising to me that air can become trapped in a magazine - and that it wouldn't as a matter of course vent out when you fire a few shots. Without knowing anything about how gases behave, I would also naturally assume that when you fill a mag, the liquid gas you are injecting falls to the lowest point, and any air that is trapped, rises to the highest point - in which case, with the mag inverted how would depressing the knocker valve release anything other than liquid gas? I'm not trying to start a debate for the sake of a debate - after the second fill of my hicapa magazines the other night, I only managed a few lacklustre shots out of each. Almost certainly because it was pretty cold + the gas can i was filling from was the same temperature as the mags; but I'm wondering if in parallel there could be other things that I could do to help.
  25. Given that our beloved PM is apparently on a "ban all the things I don't like" jaunt is there anything in the re-re-rebanning of zombie knives that affects us given that the VCRA had airsoft as collateral damage?
