  1. 1. You should not see any major FPS increase.

    2. They typically recommend about 10-20 mag refills. I just add a drop before each skirmish day and find this works great.

    3. Generally Colmans is the easiest to get hold of and seems to be the cheapest option as well.

    4. No more then Green Gas, way less then CO2.

    5. It will work on any of the ones designed for camping stoves which is all you really want.

    Hope that helps!

  2. From listening to the news I think Ed Miliband's plan is revealed. He is claiming to refuse a coalition with the SNP to not piss off the 'Middle England' voters. However this leaves him with a bit of a hole in terms of forming a government. The interesting comment I picked up on though was that he would still be willing to work with the SNP on policy. I reckon his plan if he is unable to form a majority government without the SNP is to attempt to form one anyway and hope the SNP will still vote labour's way in parliament on policy. If this is the case and he tries it then god help us and the 5 years of petty arguments that ensue. I think the best outcome now for the UK is a conservative majority, just so that they can actually try and make some progress.

If people are desperate for housing then I'm sure they would take a house in Liverpool or Glasgow or another city that has thousands of empty homes that just need refurbished.

Why would you go to one of those cities when you work down South?

  4. The UK isn't over populated it's just neglected. Look how many houses are empty in Liverpool for example. You have streets and streets of empty houses that have been neglected that could have been used for social housing but nuclear weapons are more important.

People are moving away from areas such as Liverpool, not into it hence the increase in empty housing. People are flocking more and more South. It is in these areas they need more housing as thats were the work is! Nuclear Weapons really will have little impact on this. Here is a money making scheme for the government. Build a load of actually affordable housing and sell it on with a small profit. Winners all round then! My dad purchased our little house for £40,000 20 years ago. Its value is now creeping towards the £150,000 mark. How is anyone in our area meant to be able to afford that as a first time buyer?

  5. Rules idea for you Baz and which would likely change the nature in which the MPF operate. If they are a rebel force then they will likely be struggling to get hold of ammo, especially as their using such as wide range of weaponry finding consistent supplies of 7.62, 5.56,5.54 e.t.c would be very difficult. To replicate this half the ammo limit for the rebels down to 300. This would prove very problematic for them then if they get into a long drawn out battle with the MDF as in the end they will likely just run out of ammo and need to resupply. As a result they would need to rely more on sudden overwhelming raids on smaller forces rather then just rocking up at the MDF camp and keeping them pinned inside for several hours. It will then give the MDF more chance to move around and carry out objectives as the threat is less likely to be a full frontal attack which you need every man to hold it back.

In terms of the game though it was my first Milsim and it was a great experience. Although the action was no where near constant, the fire-fights that we had were so much better as the whole team were working together. Best example was a full team raid on the special forces. The amount of controlled firepower we were able to put down was scary and they were overrun in a matter of seconds. Another highlight was on the start of the Sunday we was tasked with escorting a convoy of vehicles. Every sections had a task and they carried it out. Result was a couple of brief engagements which saw the harassers driven off and the convoy barely had to slow down while this was going on and was never once in any danger. The teamwork definitely made it for me and C*** sections desertion just left us with 13 guys who wanted to work together.

  6. When your 13 you can join army or air cadets. You can join now as a sea cadet but yh... :P

They wont issue you with boots generally though and air cadets rarely issue greens as your generally in working blues/wedge-woods anyway.

If you get trousers that are too long for you then buy some trouser twists. You can tie the excess up then neatly.

  7. DONT buy the steal Bolt Carrier. From what I have seen it makes things worse.

Tbh as long as you carry out the simple mod of adding a couple of washers to the end of the spring guides to take to force of the bolt carrier impacting the ends of the springs it is ok. Just keep an eye and make sure things stay done up.

My L85 is stock minus the modification and it is fine without all the upgrades. Once things wear out if I still have it I would probably upgrade it to RA-TECH but I cant see that happening for a while.

  8. No mate, its the pointing out of the obvious (such as the joke about Australia on this thread earlier)...but yeah anyway, I really couldn't give a hoot what a keyboard warrior such as yourself has to say anymore, imtriggerhappy's advice has actually worked lol

He did not make the original joke and his comment on the joke was perfectly valid. Can we get back to the thread please!

Another good experience I had was when I was completely humbled by some of the Reaper crew. They had my entire team pinned down at our starting point. I managed to get around a flank onto a few of their guys and put one into each of them. They got up smiling, congratulated me, patted on the back and went back to respawn. I was so humbled I was not paying attention and promptly got shot a couple of minutes later in the ass

  9. Propane!
Green Gas is propane with silicon added along with a much higher price tag for the same amount of gas.

Grab a Propane adaptor and some Colmans and in the long run you will be saving money.

All you do when you screw the adaptor on is put in a couple of drops of silicon into the bottle top.

  10.

I don't like him dangling a carrot over the UK people like that.....

    UKIP wanna the vote now

and just remembered a thing back in mid/late 90's.....

We went total tits up when people were playing/buying/selling sterling and £ was going through floor etc...

Interest rates were then announced to be 11% 13% think it might have gone to 15% all on that same day of panic as sterling took a belting

we WAS signed up for Europe but close of play they said we were stepping back from Europe

and the interest came back down lower and lower each year

yeah some of the Europe crap just don't work

That was the Exchange Rate Mechanism that caused it as we were paired off with the deutschmark. Idea was it would stabilize the currencies in Europe to make trade easier and setting up a shared currency easier. But as you say leaving it after they panicked and pulled out of the ERM helped in the long run. Pulling out arguably helped Major lose the next election ironically though.

Another interesting fact I picked up through my current course is that the day after we joined the EU our exports plummeted and have never regained since...

Oh and some crackpot in the EU thinks that the Union forming its own army will actually help with controlling Putin  Start a war mabye but help... I dont think so.

  11. It doesn't matter who Scotland votes for because we're small and less than 1/10th the population of England. The Tories have 1 Westminster seat in Scotland. A area in the borders voted them in that has a low population but they are the party that rules the UK. Also Tony Blair was scottish but as I said the UK runs for the benefit of London. being apart of the Union is the same as the UK being in the EU because Brussels controls Westminster and Westminster controls Scotland so either way it's us that gets spit roasted.

You guys seem to be getting a far better deal then the rest of the UK! The current system cant be working that badly for you...
