That.
It's a coiled spring but to be honest, mine works OK. Just lucky I guess. Haven't tried using a high cap STANAG yet on account of how there's only SO much winding I can do before I get bored!
My friend just uses a G&P M249 MK2 box magazine on his A&K one. Has yellow writing on it and supposedly they are a thousand times better than a A&K magazine.

I would personally go no where near them. Horrific customer service as none of them can understand English to save their life.
Bought an M14 from them while back. I supplied a UKARA number, phone number, even my firearms licence and it got held up in customs as they would not let it though for some bizzare reason. I contacted them and still to this day they ignore my emails and refuse to refund me the M14.
Avoid.

I believe those are Classic Army mate.

I persnally don't understand why all these under 18's are in dire need of a black/ realistic gun? Don't see why you can't be like everyone else and buy a two tone, maybe some camo tape until you have a UKARA?
-
If you want to be like everyone else, get an M4 or an MP5. If you want to stand out from the usual same old M4 and MP5 that everyone has then get a bullpup gun? G&G F2000 or a Tokyo Marui High Cycle AUG.
-
M14's always look bad as a as a DMR but you'd need to lock them to semi. You could always have a look at an SR-25? G&G do one as well as Classic Army.

I have one myself. Fantastic gun, fantastic looks, fantastic range. It's easy to disassemble and uses most version two gearbox parts.
Got one for sale if you just want to read about it.

More than likely the hop up. Either your rubber has worn out or torn and you'll need to replace it.
-
Most likely the magazines. If it cannot fire unless it's upside down then obviously the spring in the magazine is too weak to push the bb's into the hop up chamber.

You can never be too old to try something new. I'm thirty eight myself and play with my son almost every month. It's a great bonding experience. It's so nice to spend time with my son as I missed a lot of his childhood due to being in the military.
Glad you're getting into airsoft, it's a great sport with generally very nice people.

Been pondering the question myself. The lower receiver on an M4/ M16 is almost identical to that on a Scar-L. I wouldn't see why an MOE grip etc won't fit. Been wanting to try it myself but never knew for sure if the MOE pistol grip would fit.

Big Dragon motors are my personal favourite. You can pick them up on Airsoft peak for about the same price as cheap high torgues cost in the UK and they are a monster of a motor.
You get M120, M140, and a M160 versions I think, depending on your FPS. M160 being for a DMR build and M120 bring for what your gun is at the 350 mark.

read the law again, you're wrong.
"There is no law or age limit to own a RIF, but the only way you should have one without a defence (e.g. UKARA) is if it was gifted to you or purchased before 2007's VCRA.
UKARA is not a licence, and is not the only way of purchasing a RIF. It is simply a defence which allows you to purchase RIFs, other defences include being a registered re-inactor or professional film maker, or simply proving you are a registered skirmisher.
To obtain an RIF without a defence, it must be gifted to you. This means you cannot give anything in exchange for it, including money, other items and services (e.g cleaning your room for a week to get your dad to buy you a RIF isn't actually legal). This also applies to people under 18 obtaining IFs (51%+ clear or bright coloured).
It is the seller's responsibility to check that you have a defence, not yours to prove to them. But goodluck finding someone willing to sell to someone without a defence. "
Close enough, still goes against what some are saying that they will give parents money etc.

Any bipod will do mate. It has a rail on the bottom of the handguard right? I'd recommend a Harris Style bipod. As to your magazine issue. Not all guns accept all magazines. My G&G Scar-L despises Classic Army M4 magazines and is tighter than a nuns... Anyway, it's a trial and error process you see. Buy a few magazines from different companies, JG, Classic Army, Army Works etc and see what fits and feeds best. Also, if you know please advise on the correct type of bipod I will need for this?
Other than that I can only suggest it's to do with the hop up?

So you recommend stretch my budget a bit and getting hk m416 ?
I personally would. Just nicer to see something other than your standard M4 you know? Plus it has plenty of rail space and the flexibility to make a DMR loadout with it?

well not at my place. I honestly don't think anyone would care if I got out a bright green gun, then swapped the green stuff for black for the games, and as soon as the day was done swapped it back out for black. In my opinion and at my site I don't think anyone would mind/tell or even comment really for that matter. I understand you say it could ban airsoft, however u18s are running around with guns which they aren't supposed to have (unless their dad/mum bought and gave it to them for free which will never really happen to people who don't get spoiled).
You don't understand do you?
You. Are. Not. Allowed. BY LAW. To. own. A. RIF. No. Matter. What. Site. You. Go. To.

I think most people like myself who have a genuine defence and actually care about airsoft do indeed care if a kid or an under 18 year old owns a full RIF. Things like that, if investigated can in fact ban airsoft for everyone so just please follow the rules and law and stop trying to bypass it and own a RIF when you're not entitled to, Team Flex.

Don't think there is much difference between the first and second gun you've linked. First one is your typical M4 that everyone and their mothers have and the second one is a HK M416 which is a little bit more unique and seen less than your standard M4. I personally would go for the M416 as it just looks delightful.
However you will hear people saying get the CM16 as it's a great starter weapon and you can upgrade it etc but it's down to you.
-
You need a defence to buy a RIF. Just be like every other under 18 year old and get a two tone.

Hello all,
So I am aware there are a few members on this forum who have undertaken upgrading this weapon system and have done a little research myself. This is my project gun I decided to take on and have listed parts I believe may be key to getting this weapon performing as it should.
Parts are;
King Arms Air Seal Chamber
9Ball Bucking
CNC Chamber Conversion Kit
EdGI 6.01mm Precision Tight Bore Inner Bull Barrel
G&G Steel Cocking Piece
G&G Upgraded Striker Spring
Palmers HPA Rig
Please feel free to correct me and/ or recommend different or cheaper alternatives. I will also gladly accept any advice with anything especially the barrel as I believe the M700 barrel is unique.

You'd be surprised. I'm a big g&p fan but their optics are awful, probably just re-branded clones to be honest.
Hm, would of expected them to use better materials after seeing how well built most of their guns are? Guy in my squad has had a G&P AimPoint since the beginning of time.
-
They all do the same thing. I've used real holographic's in the military and cheap £30 ones aren't that different. Just made out of cheap metal and have a green sight rather than a night vision function.
Both Chinese replicas and G&P replicas do the same basic red/ green dot function with a few brightness settings. Obviously G&P will use slightly better materials though.
As you probably know different Holo sights take different batteries so really you want to ask the question 551, 552 or 553? It's all depending on what batteries are more/ easier available to you.
I personally wouldn't buy a G&P Holo and rather buy a cheap Chinese one along with an EOTech x3 magnifier.

More than likely the O-rings in the magazine(s) have swollen up or worn out. Try replacing them first, and go from there.
