  1. High torque motor, m100 spring. Done.
  2. Google: change spring v2 gearbox airsoft
  3. Bottom line: if you want a spring sniper with range, accuracy and reliability then you will have to invest time, money and/or effort. Often all three to get it right. End of story. If you arent prepared to pony up, stick to AEGs.
  4. Use the forum search. WE are fairly good for the money. Don't expect amazing performance in the cold tho. Google will reveal many places that sell WE pistols.
  5. YouTube is your friend. If its a tm recoil, no, if its a vfc, less so.
  6. clawgear.com hueys.co.uk military1st.co.uk
  7. Definitely wait until you have your defence. Personally I'd spend the £400 on a Krytac (the PDW is nice if you want something shorter) some mags, lipos and a red dot. Pistols are fun but you'll find you dont actually use em very much.
  8. Pretty much what I said. Tinkering around, swapping parts out without knowing what you're doing = knackered AEG.
  9. Couldn't agree more. For the most part upgrading AEGs unless you have a specific goal in mind and know how the get there is definitely a case of diminishing returns. Worse case is you end up with a worse gun than when you started.
  10. Lipo conversation is all you really need. Another easy upgrade would be a decent tight bore barrel (prommy, pdi) will give a bump in fps.
  11. Pretty normal in most cases. I presume you don't have a mosfet fitted? The only way you can eliminate this altogether would be an active breaking fet.
  12. For out of the box performance: with blowback - TM recoil shock, non-blowback- krytac.
  13. Best way to upgrade a WE pistol is to buy a TM one :-p
  14. No, that's a lipo charger.
  15. Uktactical.com have 20% off all warrior assault systems gear until Sunday. Code is WARRIOR20
  16. Most cheap Chinese optics tend to fog up with damp or humid conditions, Eotech replicas included.
  17. I'd second the advice of leaving well alone unless there is a specific reason to upgrade, less is definitely more when it comes to "upgrading" AEGs. Definitely swap out the Tamiyas for deans tho. Also consider buying a second hand gearbox to upgrade and tinker with, teach yourself with that and when you have something that works well, drop it into your AEG. That way you always have 1 working gearbox.
  18. True. A few people have mistaken my scar for a GBB.
  19. Just speaking from personal experience. You pays your money you makes your choice. There are cheaper guns that shoot just as well as TM recoils at a fraction of the price. If you've got the money and you like the idea of a vibrating AEG, then go for it.
  20. As lozart says, do not spray silicone oil in the barrel or on the hop rubber. Clean that shit off!
  21. Pros: They are shoot well (hop units are very good) and the externals are pretty good (except the plastics on some of the models), generally reliable out of the box. Cons: They are over priced, especially when you add in the cost of mags. The sop mod batteries are shit and massively over priced. For me the recoil is a gimmick as its more of a tickle. They are a pain in the arse to tech. Spares are expensive. Lack fps out of the box. For me, on balance I don't think they are worth the money, but each to their own.
  22. Pico are a good choice. Yes, you will have to open up the gearbox to do the install. If its shooting fine then don't bother changing anything else, if you need a but more fps then consider a heavier spring. There's tonnes of guides on YouTube on how to take apart a v2 gearbox.
  23. Welcome. Your disposable income will now be disposed of.
  24. 3 or 4 BBs falling out when you take the mag out is normal.
  25. Reflex sights are red dots. They just allow a bit more of an open sight picture than a tube style red dot. Personally I would consider a tube type with a kill flash to prevent it getting shot out.
