This. I bought a G&G top tech as a gun that I wouldn't mess around with that would work well out of the box. My "project" AEG is built from parts worth 2 or 3 times as much as the stock G&G and is a finicky beast. When it works its works its awesome, then I'll go mod something else and screw it all up

It could be the MOSFET - possibly overheating? - may explain why it starts off ok. The blokes at Pro Airsoft were saying that they'd had a number back with blown mosfets and that another large retailer (cant remember which one they said, possibly Zero One) had got a ton of mosfets shipped from G&G to replace faulty ones. Pro Airsoft are in the process of developing a drop in replacement fet unit. In any case, I have a Gen 3 running on 9.9v life batteries, seems to be running OK so far after 2 skirmishes (I fire semi auto most of the time). Time will tell I suppose.

Good little tool. Basically prepends your search text with "airsoft" and a then searches google with your country filter added to the criteria.

I've had a couple of negative experiences with SoF. 1st time I ordered some shooting glasses and they sent me the wrong size in the wrong colour, had to send them back. 2nd time I ordered a radio headset, they sent me the correct item in the wrong colour. Can't really recommend them based on my experiences with them - probably will not use them again.

Having just been down to Pro Airsoft Supplies - I was having a chat about the G&G gen 3s with pre-wired MOSFET. Seems they've had a few back with blown MOSFETs. Any owners had problems with their ones? I've just ordered one from another retailer. POS have advised me against using 11.1 lipos in it to avoid potential issues.
