  1. CKinnerley's done a video on them I'm sure. Or he would have mentioned them in his Sabre leg rig review anyway. Think I'll be getting myself a DCS in OD sometime as well, or A-TACS FG. Not sure yet.
  2. Warrior Assault Systems. Also four Blackhawk STRIKE mag shingles which were apparently from Afghan (damaged and dusty enough) Work brilliantly though except I don't have any other tan gear, just can't bring myself to get rid of them.
  3. You need one of these: http://airsoftzone.co.uk/pistol-silencer-adaptor-we?filter_name=adapter Then a CCW 14m threaded suppressor, preferably short (like 80-100mm) Common problem however is the slide can't come all the way back because the end of the muzzle device (for example I have a clone KX3 on mine) will hit the guide rod. I don't know if this will cause a Failure to Feed but it's not good anyway. There's two ways to fix this: 1) 1" or 2" Barrel Extension - Made by Madbull or A.P.S. (there's only a 1" version for APS as far as I know) 2) O-Rings, I bought a box off eBay with hundreds in but found two that I needed. I also ordered a Madbull 1" extension off eHobby Asia but they told me it was out of stock. Not sure whether the 2" is or not. Problem with the second option is that once the adaptor piece is on there it will start to feel tight enough but twist it that way just once and it's loose again. Not the easiest thing to explain but basically it was hard to adjust right for me and can feel slightly wobbly. Obviously doesn't help how well the they attach when the threads are covered by o-rings. Hope this helps. Also probably isn't the best idea to run your pistol with a silencer all the time as I've heard it will put a lot of strain on the nozzle and cause them to break easily. OR YOU CAN ACTUALLY BUY A WE SILENCER / BARREL EXTENSION KIT http://www.milspecsolutions.co.uk/we-pistol-silencer-and-barrel-extension-kit.html
  4. KWA / GHK / Tokyo Marui GBBR Centurion Arms CMR RS SureFire Scout Light (Haley Strategic Mount) PTS Rainier Arms Charging Handle (It it fits) Angry Gun 300% Recoil Kit and RA-Tech Internals SBR / CQC Upper Noveske NSR-7 BCM KeyMod Rail Panels Haley Strategic / INFORCE WML w/ HSP KeyMod Mount Sort of like this? I could, of course, list many more - but you only said one rifle.
  5. What upgrades and attachments do you need? Depends if you want to upgrade the accuracy / rate of fire / range etc what parts you will want to buy. I don't think it will have Picatinny rails so in terms of attachments I guess your choice is a bit limited. I would get a scope rail like this http://www.patrolbase.co.uk/airsoft-bipod-mount/asg-aeg-mount-mp5-g3.htm#.VL1ixEesWPs so you can attach an optic. Another MP5 specific attachment would be the handguards with integrated flashlights (better than having to tape one on or something) There's one on Patrol Base for £12 but obviously since it is very cheap I don't think it will be worth spending your money on. MAG magazines are good if you want some extra ones and probably the best price because you can buy a pack of eight from eHobby Asia for £40 including shipping (or they should be about £60 delivered over here)
  6. All Ares guns are fckin ugly I don't know why anybody buys them.
  7. Amazon / eBay. They'll be the same price if not cheaper and free shipping.
  8. F&O are generally alright I think. Manchester Woodland is supposed to be good which is the one I'm presuming you'll be off to. Need to go sometime myself as haven't been to a proper outdoor skirmish in years, and the other one which is close to me (Alpha One) only does a day up til like 2 or something so you only really get 3-4 hours, whereas everywhere else is more like 6. I have heard bad things about The Works in Halifax though
  9. WE Gen 4 Glocks are good (got a G17 myself) but £110 I think + at least £18 per mag (50 round ones idk the price) and ~£20+ for a WE NUPROL holster. People say the nozzles break a lot but I think with good maintenance and not using full auto all the time it would be okay. Have a look on here and Zero In for some second hand?
  10. Warhead 9mm Conversion Kit and Magpul PTS MOE Grip
  11. If you want an AR / M4, yeah definitely the G&G Combat Machine. Not exactly the most unique, but can't go wrong with them!! Would be a great choice. Wish I'd got one myself rather than the shite CYMA (cost me more than a G&G would as well....) Alternatively yeah CYMA AKs are basically the AK version of the G&G M4s I guess you could say? They're the other gun that gets recommended a lot, good value and quality. If G36s are your thing, JG ones are tough and very reliable from what I've heard (reason why lots of sites have used them as hire guns)
  12. You say it's not a lot but I don't know many over £130. Most are £100 anyway. That said if you can stretch it by £10 then try and see if Airsoft Zone will get Tokyo Marui Glock 18s back in stock. http://airsoftzone.co.uk/glock-18c-full-auto-pistol-gbb-tokyo-marui?filter_name=glock%2018 If you can afford it TM no doubt are the best. Best used with Abbey Ultra which AFAIK is slightly weaker than standard Green Gas / Propane.
  13. Hydrodipping can still go wrong, mind you shouldn't be difficult to get the technique right. There's also the fact it is expensive AFAIK and there's also the time consuming priming / painting a base coat stages you're supposed to do as well. Depends on your budget and what pattern you want. If it's something unique that would be kinda hard to replicate then go for it, otherwise might as well just use good old spray can. I know CKinnerley used CamoLab to do this: but unfortunately they are no longer in business
  14. CYMA, BUT only for AKs / maybe MP5s? (Because they're also cheap) As you can see I learnt the hard way by buying a CYMA M4. Shite both internally and externally, and more expensive than a G&G
  15. There's already a thread on this And yes TaiwanGun are good, although they charge about £15 shipping now. It's still not bad but used to be free over about £60. GunFire is another good Polish retailer.
  16. Thinking of getting a Madbull 4" Kit if it fits both AEG and GBBR Anybody know? Cheapest I've found is at actionhobbies - http://www.actionhobbies.co.uk/Madbull-4-inch-Daniel-Defense-Lite-Rail-Hand-guard-Black_A1EZD4.aspx#.VLQqKSusWPs
  17. All the tri-shot shotguns are the same, will be made by the same factory and rebranded by DE / ASG / GFC etc. They're good. Other than that, there's just the TMs which are skirmishable shotguns - but their spring tri-shots are old and rare (not worth the money) Or there are the gas M870s which are ~ £300.
  18. Nice work mate. If you are offering as a service in the future might be interested in getting a light bearing (specifically Nextorch WL10) one done for my WE Glock 17
  19. Definitely go to a site and hire first. Preferably a local shop too if you have one so you could get a feel for guns you like and stuff. And using the forum is great because I made some bad decisions before (CYMA M4) coming on here and reading guides and advice etc
  20. Sorry for bad pic quality - will upload better ones later. Installed MOE grip Much better, but now I notice the annoying gap. New Strike Industries trigger guards should sort it out. (yet to order)
  21. Mil-Spec Monkey 'All Out Of Fucks' t shirt off FireSupport
