  1. Agreed with the other guys actually, I've bought like 5,guns from Patrol Base but I should've actually shopped around more. Was my mistakes but I don't think Patrol Base has the best range of stuff, they don't seem to stock a lot of guns (although there are more in store than online) If you really want one of those then I'd narrow it down to the King Arms and VFC...heard the CAA isn't great.
  2. Green Devils and BB Bastards are said to be great. If you're after quality BBs to get good performance you'll probably want heavier than 0.20s though. FYI there's a Quick Questions and Answers thread for short questions like these but it's in General Discussion
  3. Well....what do you think would be best to upgrade first? Range, ROF..? IMO If it ain't broken don't fix it. I'd say get high speed gears (like a SHS 13:1 set) and a high speed motor. Re-shim and grease. Convert from Tamiya to Deans connectors and use LiPo batteries. If you want extra magazines get a pack of MAG ones (eight for £40-£55) Get a picatinny rail mount so you can attach an optic. Another external addition could be a ASG B&T Tracer Unit (£39 from Patrol Base) A couple guys used them on their G5s at Halo Mill and they work very well in CQC. Grab some WE NUPROL or ASG Blaster tracer BBs with it. The handguards with intergrated flashlights I've seen are WELL, can pick one up for like £10 from Patrol Base but pbviously they won't be very good. I think G&P makes one, but again not sure it would be compatible with the SD variant.
  4. I think a lot of places will do the MTP UBACS for ~£20. I know Patrol Base do them at that. I bought a Helikon Camogrom (close Multicam clone) combat shirt off Land Warrior Airsoft for £36 posted - usually £45. I think it's great.
  5. Just an ITW Grimloc off Gunpoint Gear... Gonna save for one of these - http://www.gunpointgear.co.uk/tactical-tailor-fight-light-removable-operator-pack-35000lw-1307-p.asp If some of my stuff sells will go towards new eye pro (either Revision Desert Locusts or Smith Optics Elite OTWs, not sure which)
  6. Speaking of which - what happened to the grab a bargain thread
  7. They don't, but they're great guns and still perform well in the cold.
  8. I think it is, heard bad things about G&Gs mid caps, but nothing bad about the hi-caps. If you wanted mid caps I'd go for MAG ones and you can buy a pack of eight for about £40 shipped from eHobby Asia (but would take 2-3 weeks maybe a month to arrive from HK though)http://shop.ehobbyasia.com/mag-130rd-magazine-for-m4-m16-aeg-black-8pcs.html#.VO3cDPmsWPs That's like a thousand rounds + no winding or rattling.

  10. £200 is a nice decent budget, M4s can be a bit boring when they are so common, but you can't go wrong with a Combat Machine (or really any G&G gun) There's always external upgrades you can do and you can make a unique AR with the amount of different parts there are for them. There's also the confidence of knowing you've got all the aftermarket internal bits if anything does happen to break and also so you could upgrade the performance over time.
  11. Helikon Watch Cap (Black) - £7 Emerson 'Neoprene Hard Foam Mask' (Kryptek Highlander) - £11.33
  12. http://www.airsoftpeak.com/element-combat-application-tourniquet-p-9493.html You could use an ITW Grim Loc or Tac Link carabiner to hold gloves or something http://gunpointgear.co.uk/itw-grimloc-carabiner-coyote-brown-692-p.asp
  13. http://www.flecktarn.co.uk/spobb7nx.html You can get the pouch off eBay / AliExpress / AirsoftPeak etc
  14. Problem with the mag, thankfully nowt wrong with the gun itself. Yep rounds always fall out, normal with standard AEGs, unless you buy magazines with extended follower things (although not all will work - RM4 ones only work with the RM4 for example) or certain hop up units.
  15. Just tried to download it but I don't have the right software or summut apparently
  16. Yeah, fine Were put down as being worth $20 so got away with being f*cked over by customs as you said Only took a couple of weeks as well, in fact checked the order for the first time last night and then they arrived this morning
  17. Yeah you'll probably want one of these http://airsoftzone.co.uk/pistol-silencer-adaptor-we?filter_name=adapter They're threaded inside as BigAl said (11mm IIRC) the adapter gives you a 14mm CCW bit on the end. Common issue (at least with the Glocks) is that the muzzle device you attach can collide with the guide rod when the slide is moving so you need to buy a pack of O-rings and fit them to stop it happening. Not sure if this is a problem with a 1911 though.
  18. Yeah Bolle are good...especially for the price. AFAIK all their goggles should be adequate protection but not sure all the glasses are ballistics safety rated.
  19. Thing is that will kind of defeat the point of having Deans batteries, since they're a low resistance connector (therefore you get faster trigger response)
  20. PLATATAC ORDER Tac Dax MKII Special Project (AKA HSP D3) Combat Pants Kryptek Highlander
  21. Pretty sure the B6 doesn't come with a mini Tamiya connector though. Was going to buy one myself but noticed it only has Deans / croc clips and something else.
